I'm pretty excited about this grow. It's my first time trying Dutch genetics. This week she will get ph'd water. By the end of the week I'd like to see the 2nd set of serrated leaves starting.🤞🏻
She is moving along nicely at this moment. She will receive her first very light feeding one day this week. Once I see the third set of serrated leaves starting and everything else looks good I'll start nutrients.
There should be some really nice growth this week. This week will set the foundation before the stretch. I plan to let this one go for about a month before I start any lst.
There should be lots of growth this week before the stretch. I'm seeing the biggest growth from the growth tips on the 2nd and 3rd nodes but the 1st nodes are catching up. I will probably start some lst this week.
She should be doing a lot of stretching this week if all goes well. She just started to preflower a couple of days ago. The lst is pretty much set at this time. I may make small adjustments after she is finished with her stretch.
Day 30 - I going to say she has started her stretch. Measured main stem at 14.25" yesterday morning and it is 16.5" this morning.
Day 33 - Main measured at 20 this morning. Steady growth.
This week will probably be the last of the stretch. She os by far the tallest plant in the tent at the moment. I would say that it's definitely a large or small XL strain. She will continue to get the full dose of nutrients until I am sure she is finished with the stretch.
This girl is filling in so nicely. The main looks like it's going to be about a 6 inch cola. Many of the lower branches look to have the potential for about 3-4 inch colas. These next couple weeks will be interesting.
This young lady is filling out real well. I've started seeing glimpses of blue deep in the buds. She's started producing trichomes pretty steadily now.
I will continue doing what I have been doing with this lady. No changes in the nutrients or watering schedule. At this point it's just a waiting game.
She started showing some purples in the leaves this week.
I think she has started to fade a little. I've started seeing some dark greens to almost blue and some purples also. She continues to fill in nicely. Her aroma is very faint but I'm getting a sweet berry smell.
This should be another week of fading leaves and fattening buds. Nearly all her leaves near the top are purple now. I'm still seeing lots of new white pistils.
This lady doesn't want to quit. She is still shooting new pistils daily on each bud. Her trichomes are barely cloudy at this point. I have started to just run ph and continue her weekly dose of recharge.
This will be her last week above ground. She is still shooting new pistils but the trichomes are changing quickly. I am really glad I gave her a little extra time. The buds have definitely fattened up a lot. The top half of the plant has some really nice and dense flowers and the lowers are a little more fluffy as to be expected.
The Dutch Blue Automatic has been an absolute breeze to grow. I basically hit her with nutes at the end of her first week and she didn't mind one bit. You'll definitely want to give her atleast 85-90 days, you won't be disappointed.
The harvest went as well as it could go. I would put this strain in the medium-large range as far as size and yield. The top half flowers and stem tops are nice and dense. As to be expected the inner lowers are a bit fluffy. If I ran it again I would have removed more of those inner budsites, though first budsites on each were all removed. There were many sugar leaves but the flowers have a decent coating of trichomes. Her scent is pretty faint at this point and you could easily run it without a carbon filter. Her scents are all soft and sweet while growing, nothing funky. I will hang dry her for 5-7 days in 45-55% rh (best I can do in the winter). Well after a few weeks curing I finally got around to have a puff. What a nice smooth creamy smoke. It also has a soft sweet berry taste lingering around. All in all it's a nice relaxing smoke.👍🏻👊🏻✌️🏻
I will also try this strain as soon as the parcel spliffseeds, it seems to be the best anatomic strain of those from spliffseeds, looks very good. If you extend the growing season to 12-13 weeks I think it will be a good harvest. good luck bro 🙌💪👌👍
