Popped seed in water and had a tiny little taproot approx. 48h later. Planted in Compo Grow Light soil with a wicking method for the first week (NOT recommended, as the soil pretty much stayed wet the entire first week and almost no root development!)

2 days after germination lil Ms Zkittlez already grew like 4-5cm tall. Was placed under a Sansi 36W at a disctance of about 45cm and had some sign of LED burn on the tips. Increased distance to about 75-80cm. Moved her and the Sansi LED into a DIY cardboard growbox for the beginning until my first grow tent arrived. The soil didn't want to dry out due to wicking technique and i was a little worried she might get root rot.

Even though she had kind of a slow start (maybe due to the medium permanently being moist), there was some good growth in week 2. The DIY cardboard box had some light leaks and the new grow tent arrived just in time .... Started getting some fungus gnats due to the surrounding mint plants and other herbs (another rookie mistake of mine) .... Yellow insect traps helped to get it under control - also moving the mint and herbs onto the balcony.

She looked really small & droopy for day 15 & not looking happy at all. After sleep she was even worse, so I decided to do the transplant, even though it was a week earlier than scheduled. She had almost NO taproots and the soil she was in, fell apart in my hands! It was the fastest, and most scary transplant I've ever done to a plant .... So I thought it was time for her to get the extra "classical bangers" treatment... ;-)
