Day 2 - 09.12 - It's hard to heal from the growing fever so I don't even try to fight the disease 😂. So here we are again with a Lemon Ak auto , and once again it's a fast buds strain.
I wanted to try this strain because AK is a legendary strain 😁✌️🏼
After 12h in a glass of water the root was already out of the shell then 2 days after she looked like what you can see in the 1st pictures.

Day 4 - After a little light issue ( plug off by mistake) the girl is now kooky stretchy. I put her outside a couple hour today and she get back in the 60×60 tent under a 110w neon light for more blue light.
Day 9 - 16.12 - New week for the Lemon Ak, she's doing her thing and looks better under the FL. I gave her just 10cl of water or a bit more .

Day 12 - 19.12 - The girl have been transplanted in a 3L pot with fresh pre fertilized soil ( the same I used in my run #5) so she will not need to be feed until the next transplant.
She is really growing better under that FL light 😁✌️🏼
Day 17 - She changed for the best , now she's looking like a real plant with youngs secondary stems.
I'm wondering if I'm gonna top her or not ? I don't really know much about that strain but I know AK' s are short flowering but can be from different heights profiles.
I gave her a bit too much water today but it's far from over watering so we are good ✌️🏼🦎
Day 23 - 30.12 - On day 21 she has been transplanted in. 5l round pot , the roots was already taking over the bottom of the pot so I switched.
I added 1 tea spoon of MR.B's Green trees Growth fertilizer straight into to recycled soil I used to transplant ( recycled from my previous Gorilla Girl diary ).
The shape is open , the secondaries are already taking height so I bet on a topping to obtain a bushy styled shape ( topping will be done in 2019 😁✌️🏼 )
Day 32 - First news of the week : the girl has been topped and to bring something new to my diaries I give Fiming a try. So the girl has been cut like for a Fiming but I'm not sure if it's gonna work and I also did it during the last days of the 4th week so I believe it can affect the whole grow by slowing it even if I am secretly hoping for a secondaries stems explosion.
The 2nd news is that the girl has been transplanted in her last 10L pot so she's gonna push her flowering soon of she don't need much recovery for the topping.
The 3rd news is the feeding , I gave her 2 tea spoon of Mr.B's Green trees Growth and 1 Tea spoon of Mr.B's Bloom : I excpect that the growth nutrient will give her a boost to build a solid shape before the flowering process.
Concerning the colour she's fine , no signs of deficiencies of excess , some white fly can be spotted since my last run invasion but it's a fake problems as once she'll get outside the white fly population will rasricly drop down like always : it must be due to the numerous predators that can be found in my garden.
The stems are thin on the whole plant , the Fiming attempt should makes the secondaries grow stronger ✌️🏼😁
She's still stretching , the height is starting to be correct but I hope on 10 to 15 more cm by the end of the stretch.
The topping/Fiming was a total waist of time as nothing worked and you can see it on the weird leaves set.
Just water since the feeding is in the soil , no runoff ... since the feeding is in the soil.
Day 45 - The Flowering Is Starting 😄
The girl is producing some pistils and seems to have stoped her vertical growth , unfortunately she remains short 😒.
She looks healthy for now so let's hope nothing will change that ✌️🏼
EDIT after harvest : It is interesting to see how quickly she changed during the 6 weeks of flowering. What you can see on the pictures are the 1st signs of pre flowering which are the 1st visible pistols and the increasing of the vertical growth

Day 52 - Haha the AK is short but compact and makes me realise that : We must not judge a book by it's cover 😜😄
Nice shape and colours , I low stressed each stems by bending them manualy each days so they are more symmetrical to the soil than with a classic shape 👍 the colour is a nice "flashy" green.
The Flowering Is just starting and She Is pushing pistils everywhere .
She is growing in a way that makes me believe she can be a short flowering phenotype 🤗
I feed her with 1.67Ec of Hybrids powder and calcium during the 1st days then I add one tea spoon of MR.B's bloom straight into the soil
Day 58 - She don't care about beeing feed each time I water and I guess she can accept an higher amount of fertilizer so I'm tempted to feed her constantly 🙄 but I'll calm down after the next feeding as I will also start to use the Greenhouse PK boost I recently acquire , like that I'll be able to review the full mineral nutrient line up before and compare it to the organic line up that I am planning to use on my exotic seeds Amnesia#7 & Tangerine Kush.
Concerning the trichomes production it seems that it will be high as I can already see a lot of them on the leaves 🌱✌️🏼✌️🏼
EDIT after harvest : After 2 weeks she reached her final shape structure, she stopped her vertical and lateral growth to focus on the buds and trichomes production.
Day 65 - 10.02 She is drinking so fast that I need to give her 3L every 3 days and sI suspect her to be a nutrient-olic : could she face a 2.0 Ec ? 🤔
The smell is now the dank side of the citrus /lemony/skunky smell 😍 this s**t will be a dank smoke for sure , I can't see big buds yet but I can already feel the at stone
As you can see some of the lower leaves are yellowing a bit but Hey I don't care bout it 😜
EDIT after harvest : It is interesting to underline the fact that she reached her final shape during week 9 and once done zhe started to work on her smell as it became very deep writhing only 1 week. This strain is growing step by step 😁
Day 74 - 19.02 - She get really big in just 2 weeks and the smell is the deepest in my garden , you can smell citrus and old school skunk all around.
About the feeding she received a watering with plain water and I will no e get back to the agressive chart she seems to enjoy

Day 77 - Last day of the week , it is just a picture update. I was also thinking about chopping her regardless of the trichomes ratio but only based on the nugs size.
It is also important to notice that she is the most resistant autoflower I've grew , she can easily handle a High RH , water on the buds and High heat so it is THE PERFECT STRAIN for a Tropical grow 😁😎☀️
Day 81 - It's overdrive time my friends 😁 I noticed that each watering with only waters makes her yellowing so I'll keep feeding : Ec 2.28 today and maybe I will try an incresment if nothing's wrong happens.
The buds are well packed and heavy , they are still producing white pistils only. The structure can still change during the next weeks , I bet on a calyxes swelling 🔥
The trichomes are colonizing very calyxes and sugar leaves they can 😍 the trims only could give a bit of high quality hash.
The smell is fantastic , epic , legendary, deep , dank and one of the best ever .
Day 85 - The final countdown will start with the next watering as today was the last feeding with a 2.2 Ec and a low ph of 6
My plan is to let the soil dries during the next 5 days , then from day 90 to day 100/105 I will flush the soil so Harvest will be between the 17 and 22 of March 😍
Day 91 - 08.03 - Pictures update . I also wanna cut her soon because of 3 things :
#1- The amber trichomes ratio is above 30%
#2- Some white flies eggs are under the fan leaves
#3- Everything's must end one day 😁🤗
The Lemon AK is THE CARIBBEAN QUEEN I was searching for , for so long 😍🌡️
My goal by growing Autoflowering strain under a 12/12 light schedule during flowering time was to find the perfect Autoflowering strain to grow under my climate and the most "money saving" to veg as I can go up to 150w in the best case.
My quest is over now that I've found my new Classic Autoflowering strain 😁 well not really over as it is a never ending quest but I fell like I'm a step up now.
The Lemon AK is a very vigorous strain , she's not growing really tall , I'll say it's more an average height but her secret weapon is her secondaries , each top buds are big but every secondaries are fat nugs too and even after a manicure they are remaining at a descent size. Every buds are gorgeous ! And I can also say that she is very resilient, she recovered from a missed FIM and did handle a few under watering like a champion ( and yes I missed a FIM .... FIM means F**k I miss it .... which mean I missed it twice )
The smell during flowering, drying and curing is one of the deeper tropical smell I never obtain from a plant , Fast Bud says that it is a Lemon Ak but the term Lemon is too reducing for that strain ... of course their is a big part of the bouquet that will makes you think about lemon BUT it is 10 times more complex than just lemon ! You'll feel the lemon under your tong but the pineapple taste is mixed in a good proportion and the mix is a taste explosion in your mouth 😋 like the Blue dream I can also feel the spices in the after space, it can also be defined as a
Incense after taste. And it is sugary, like a candy ! A sugary , lemony , pineapple incense taste 🤩👍
The yield ... is fantastic under a 12/12 light flowering schedule so imagine what it could have been under a 18/6 one. For a short plant like this I would never imagined to get more than 50 grams.
It is impossible for me to find a negative thing to say about this strain , I have grown 2 kind of Ak before , both were good but not one of a king like this one ... I just regret that an autoflowering strain can't be cloned.
EDIT : After a bit a curing a nice skunky undertone can be smell from the jar and taste from the weed 🙈🙉🙊
Now the smoke test ❤️💛💚
That weed is smooth and tasty , never makes me caught , the smoke itself is creamy and dense. The taste is amazing , you can feel the lemony/pineapple taste every time you inhale and when you exhale you have the skunky/spicy undertones that are mixing with the inhaled tastes for a flavour explosion in your mouth.... the brain explosion job is also done.
Concerning the effects , it's a relaxing but strong one , and a really strong one as it knocked down 2 of my usual smokers friends so this automatic version is potent like a photoperiodic. The effect is coming step by step , you'll be more and more relaxed and happy, some are smiling and some are giggling but every body wanna sleep after the 1st hour. Like the Blue dream it is not a day smoke or something to relax and do nothing , clearly the kind of smoke I prefer
You are an outdoor grower ? You'r waiting until the middle of may to bring your plants to your secret spot and wait until September to get a good crop?? Then this strain is for you ! You will have the possibility to harvest up to 3 times before your feminised will be ready and you'll be stocked by the final product ! Only you will be able to know that it is an auto strain, none of your friends will notice
OK... this is more like it! I've been searching thru autoflower diaries and haven't seen that many growing outdoors (yet I suppose)... and it just so happens I'll be trying a couple of 420 FastBuds strains (this is one) later this summer. I was planning to make a comparison diary with one growing outdoors and two indoors, mainly because I've never tried autoflowers before so it should be a fun summer. Keep up the good work. ✊
@dalemac, On the Amnesia#7 diary or by DM as you want bro 👍. Like you I also prefer outdoor and my RH is quite irregular during day time it can down to 40 during mid day and be at 70 in the afternoon and my autos are always doing great so your RH will be a parameter to manage and if you handle it well it will not be an issue ( and with low RH no bud rot 😁 ). @OutForReal, I'll let you know when I start my autoflowers over in your Amnesia 7 diary, since that will probably have a longer life and I'll be starting one of those also. I don't air condition my grow room so in summer I run my (LED) lights at night to keep the temperatures in check. The air is naturally dry in California summer so humidity isn't traditionally a problem. I'm curious to see how the autos do in my locale and with my lights - to compare indoor vs outdoor. I prefer outdoor because I get to commune with the girls for longer periods of time - more time for inspection and pruning.
@dalemac, Hey bro thank you for stopping by and like you said it is hard to find some outdoor auto growers as most of them prefer to maximize the yield with a higher light exposure which is not my main priority , and my light schedule is around 12h a day so they are growing like photoperiodic strains. In your case it will be different, if you choose the right time during the summer they will have plenty of hours of sun so they will yield heavily , I an not recommending you to grow indoor during the summer because of the high temps , they could be hard to manage and will require extra care to maintain it at the proper level 😓. If you never tried auto before then for sure you'll have fun 😁 & they are so easy to feed and manage but I've learn that can also be easily stressed at their young age so this is when they will need you the most ! Tag me along your futur diaries like that I'll be able to follow your 1st steps with autos 😊😄 If you can remember after all that time 😂

Haha the Green Crack is in my to do list , I was about to grab some seeds but I finally opted for the 6 shooters as it is the only cross of an auto × auto from FB so I had to give it a try.
I am happy with my choice 😄 she is growing nicely and the smell is dank 👊

I've read most of your diaries & am interested in autos in general, I am unsure if they are up to the challenge of giving yields like photoperiod strains "Although I read good things about fastbuds & Mephisto genetics, I have yet to personally see an auto yield well. your harvest numbers give me hope though !what level of grower would you say your at ? @Esoteric, One more thing, I never tried a y mephisto strain but I would like to , for the moment I am focusing on Fast buds because they are working great for me and working great under my climate ! They are resistant to heat so it's all I needed

So 1st no need to thank me for the question, I have to admit that I am answering to get points to win the grower of the month giveaway BUT I am always happy when my answers are correct and can help another grower😁🙌 ! At which level of grower am I ? I am a low yield master haha , I mean I know things about growing , I've experimented different ways to grow and different method and the most important : I only learned from my mistakes as I'm not really following the theories ( theoretically I should not grow my autos with a 12/12 flowering schedule ) and I also proud to day that I am a lazy grower so most of my methods are based on : doing nothing special and nothing time consuming. About the auto and their yield I recommend you to not base your thoughts on my grow because I'm always under what could have been done , for example I am convinced that this AK would have produced more than 100g with a 18/6 schedule. I am always up to give tips so hit that chat button everytime you need an helpe or to talk about theories ( Off course I will tell everything I know BUT remember I don't know everything ). Oh and by the way my goal is to find the perfect auto for a 12/12 schedule that could produce 100g in a 10L pot ( 10grams per litres of soil 😁 others are calculating the gram per watts but I have my own value : GPL 😅). @Experimentgreen,Yeah buddy that was a long time since are last talk but we'll cat h up ( we already have 😚 ). About the grow so can say that everything is doing good , she don't really need extra care or any care except for watering and feeding , she is doing good under the heat and with low mid day RH so she is perfect if you have heat issues. She's also starting to push a deep smell reminding me of a Lemon skunk phenotype I found in a batch of 10 skunk#1 regular from Sensi seeds years ago 😍 , I like when a new grow reminds me of my 1st experiences
Give her a little silica to strengthen the stem early on so you don't run into the problem they talk about in the strain description about weakness in the first few weeks. She may need a little actual support as well at first if she stretches too much. Good luck
