She is so bushy and tall. Probably 3.5' wide, practically touches both sides of my tent. Tons of branches and budding sites. Starting the 4th week into flowering. I thoughht the buds would be bigger. She has a very pleasant citric smell with some diesel smell too.
The main cola was touching my light. I've grown 4 autos with that light and was very pleased. I bought a cheap par meter and saw the main cola was getting over 2k PAR. 12" below the light, where the rest of the colas are, was only getting 300-500 tops.
To even it out, I tried to tie down the main cola but I bent it too far. I bent the trunk in half by being a brute 😡
She seems to be doing fine now, three days later.
I was happy with that light. As a noob, I was impressed with how the last 4 grew bigger than I could ever imagine. This girl has been a beast! So I never questioned the light... till I got the PAR meter! Great lighting directly below the lamp, but nothing to the sides. I decided to splurge and by one if those 6 lights in one rack with a separate ballast and all.
Holy crap is this thing bright! Lit up my whole room like I was outside! I dialed it in with and added my new screen. The lamp is at 50% and I have a consistent 600-900 PAR across the whole 4x4 tent. I want to give it three days on 50% before I bump it up to 75%. At 100% I was getting light at the canopy around 1100 everywhere. I want it to acclimate before I do that.
I can't believe how many bud sites there are on this girl. Easily 16 branches with tons of sites on each of them. I stretched the heck out of them so as to not overlap. Even 6 inches below the canopy, I was still getting about 4-500 levels everywhere. I really like how well distributed the light is with it.
