this grow is an experiment.
i am trying to operate a grow tent self-sufficiently.
the power for the electronic devices comes from a solar system. i am testing the whole thing in the summer to be able to better understand the exact consumption and if everything goes well, i can also grow in the winter. the setup looks like this:
200 W Solar panel
Anker 535 Kompakte Power Station
a 20€ LED full spectrum Lamp from amazon
Tent: Secret Jardin DP60
Oscillating table fan
----------------------------------------------------------
the fan and the light have a consumption of 12 watts
i let the light run 12 hours and the fan 24.
---------------------------------------------------------
i´m going to use a 2L airpot with biobizz light mix and some expanded clay
and the seed is from Kannabia - GINGER PUNCH AUTO
this is going to be a mini grow
---------------------------------------------------------
🙌😃
unfortunately it doesn't make any progress at all. i think the lamp doesn't have enough power. i covered it with soil underneath the leaves, but will that help? i also moved the lamp closer.
the experiment with converting the sun's energy to create an artificial sun is surreal. it would probably have been better to use the sun directly. but it's supposed to be an indoor grow.😐🙌
the experiment has officially failed. 😢😓 to produce good growth i would have needed at least 20w lamps. but that's not possible for 12 hours with the solar setup i have, especially with the changeable weather in germany. i have now put it in the greenhouse and hope that it will grow into something. i'm not giving up hope.
the first week in the greenhouse is over and i think it has recovered well. still quite small but i think it will start to grow well in a few weeks. let's see. hope dies last
she tolerated the move from indoor to outdoor very well. she likes the sun very much and she shows that she wants to grow. i am very happy with her performance.
she has adapted very well to the change. a good increase in growth. she is now getting bio-grow from biobizz. and a little support. i am thinking of trimming her next week. i think she will be strong enough then.
not much happened this week. there was a lot of sunshine. a few stormy days and some rain. she is still doing well and growing steadily. she gets some biobizz bio
-bloom now.
actually she is doing quite well. the buds look good. unfortunately she got mildew. i tried to remove everything as good as possible. unfortunately not 100% possible on the outside. i hope she makes it until the harvest. pictures will follow.
unfortunately she got mildew in the last few weeks which was very hard to get under control. i had to harvest her early to avoid worse. she has had a really hard road behind her. from the initial experiment of powering a grow tent with a low budget lamp, with self-collected solar power has totally failed. i then brought her outside and she developed very well for these circumstances and the small 2 litre airpot. only the mildew put a spanner in the works. i will definitely use kannabia seeds again. i am satisfied
