Welcome to my first photoperiodic Grow. It's going to be a Sour Diesel that inspires with its unique flavour and aroma profile. I'm hoping for a strong petrol station smell. First I soaked the seeds in distilled water for 24 hours. And the next day (yesterday) I sowed it in the substrate (BioBizz light mix). I use a small 200ml growing pot until the little lady has reached a certain size. The pot is currently in a dark tent at 24°C-27°C with a humidity of 70%-80%. Today, after another 24 hours in the dark sowing medium, I will switch on the light to 20% power and wait eagerly for the little lady to see the light of day. (18-6). I hope you are as excited as I am to see what will happen this grow. More updates will follow. Hey quick update, unfortunately the first seed didn't germinate after almost 5 days. So I soaked a new seed in distilled water for 4 hours and then planted it in the seed pot. The seed has now been in the dark for 24 hours and I am about to switch the light on to the 18/6 rhythm. I hope this seed will germinate, more updates to follow.

Hey it's growth week 1, the second seed I used germinated after 2.5-3 days. The little princess is making slow but steady progress. As I had problems with asparagus at the beginning, I tried to support it with toothpicks, and on day 7 I repotted it in a 3.5 litre pot and buried it to support it (4cm). Nothing more can be said for now, may it stay healthy and strong and develop well. See you next week. Feel free to comment if you have any tips (2nd grow). ~ Zhyrax

Week 2 of the growing phase, I got the asparagus under control and also dug them further into the new 3.5 litre pot. It's actually developing really well and doesn't smell at all yet. On day 13 I unfortunately noticed that the leaves had curled up a bit, I suspect that this is due to heat stress as I have temperatures between 28 & 31°C during the day. I try to counteract this by opening all the windows at night and lowering the temperature as low as possible. Do any of you have any other tips or know if there is another reason for the curled leaves? - Zhyrax

Week 3 of the growth phase. The little lady is no longer so small and has completely exploded this week. Lots of new shoots and leaves, I'm currently wondering when the right time is to repot her in her 13 litre pot. What do you think? This week I have also started to train individual shoots and leaves with LST to make the plant grow in width. The first signs that it is working and it is growing in width are recognisable. I also gave the first portion of Bio-Grow on day 21 this week and it is developing splendidly. However, the slightly curled leaves are unsettling me, does anyone know what's going on and what the little one is trying to tell me? She's also starting to smell a bit, not really like cannabis yet, but with a nice plant odour. All in all, I think she looks quite good, I hope it continues like this. Over the next few days I will top her for the first time and intensify the LST training. She also gets her fertiliser once a week now. I'm excited to see what happens next week and I hope you are too :) I would be very happy to hear any tips and suggestions for improvement. Otherwise, I'll see you next week. - Zhyrax
