# This challenge is a restart of the Gelato AI challenge, since one of the plants died. To have a better comparison I started this grow #
In this grow I'll challenge a GPT that's a specialized horticulturist. Each of us gets a clone of the same strain and we foster them with our own care plans. I will provide daily image updates to the model so it can improve on it's plan on the way. I will add water and nutrients, top/prune as the model says. At the end we will compare the yield - which will decide who wins the challenge.
We will do the same with two Blueberry clones.
I also happen to have an older Tropicanna Banana which we will foster together. This should do for a good first study.
-----------------------------
Here are the first observations based on labeled images from both plants:
Observations for Gorilla Zkittlez #1:
- Overall Health: Gorilla Zkittlez #1 is healthy, with vibrant green leaves and no signs of nutrient deficiencies or pest infestations.
- Growth Stage: The plant is in the vegetative stage, developing foliage.
- Plant Structure: Strong main stem and healthy branching, leaves are uniformly green and well-formed.
- LST: Not yet implemented; the plant is growing vertically without evidence of training.
Observations for Gorilla Zkittlez #2:
- Overall Health: Gorilla Zkittlez #2 looks healthy with vibrant green leaves and no signs of nutrient deficiencies or pest infestations.
- Growth Stage: The plant is in the vegetative stage, developing foliage.
- Plant Structure: Strong main stem and healthy branching, leaves are uniformly green and well-formed.
- LST: Not yet implemented; the plant is growing vertically without evidence of training.
-----------------------------
Afterwards the AI chose one of the plants as its competitor and explained it's choice:
For the competition, I recommend choosing Gorilla Zkittlez #1. Both plants are healthy and in good condition, but Gorilla Zkittlez #1 has slightly more advanced growth and shows strong vegetative development. This slight edge in growth may translate to a more robust plant during the flowering stage.

Followed by a detailed careplan for the next week:
Day | Action | Description
-----------------------------
1 | Watering | Water with NPK 5-2-5 nutrient mix (3 ml/L). Ensure soil is moist but not waterlogged.
2 | Monitoring | Check soil moisture and overall plant health. Adjust watering if necessary.
3 | Begin LST | Gently bend the main stem and secure with soft string or pipe cleaner.
4 | Watering | Water with plain water if soil is dry.
5 | Adjust LST | Ensure the plant is responding well to LST, adjust ties if necessary.
6 | Monitoring | Check for signs of stress or pests. Adjust LST ties if needed.
7 | Watering | Water with NPK 5-2-5 nutrient mix (3 ml/L). Ensure proper hydration.
