Sour Jealousy Fast Buds Hydroponic Grow

Prof_Weed Today, the seedlings were planted in the final pot from Terra Aquatica, Cultimate, 15 liters. I'll water the rock wool cubes after 3 days, I've turned on the system. The Sour Jealousy from Fast Buds is a bit bigger than the Orange Bud from Dutch Passion. Let's see who wins the race.. PPFD is at 215, with 20 hours of light we have a DLI of 15.48.

Prof_Weed The Sour Jealousy from FastBuds is doing quite well 👍. In hydroponics, it always takes a little longer at the beginning for the plant to really take off.. I think in about 2 weeks it will really start. DLI is at 16.92 (20 hours of light at 235 PPFD). Today I'm changing the water for the first time and adding Silicate from Terra Aquatica. In the first few days, I had fluctuations in the pH value, I think because the EC value is so low and because the clay pebbles also need to adjust to the desired pH value. The plant gets the occasional gentle breeze from the mini fan to help it grow stronger.

Prof_Weed Hhmm, so the plant from Fast Buds has now put down its first roots in the hydroponic pot from Terra Aquatica. So in 2 weeks, the exponential growth should kick in, I hope. The plant still has 8 weeks to go...

Prof_Weed Okay, today starts week 3. I tied down the main bud a bit and increased the EC value. Roots are already in the water.

Prof_Weed The plant is growing very healthy, I tied down the main bud and removed a few leaves. I'm satisfied, hopefully it doesn't flower and keeps growing.. It's now exactly 1 month old, so not the 6th week as noted here.

Prof_Weed Okay, today marks the start of week 5. The height isn't impressive right now; it might be that the light distance wasn't high enough at the beginning. I think in the end, the plant will only be 60 cm tall, but bushy. I believe the pre-flowering will start in about a week. The plant seems to be a bit sensitive to nutrients; I've lowered the EC value to 1.3 since it has minimal nutrient burn in a few spots. That's the great thing about hydroponics, just change the water. The pH is averaging at 6.0. I've removed a few leaves here and there as well as one branch that would never have made it upwards.

Prof_Weed Thank God it's not flowering yet, possibly in 2 weeks. The plant will be a max of 60 cm tall.

Prof_Weed Today marks the start of week 7, with high humidity and high temperatures. It's grown at least 10 cm and is super healthy. I've removed a few leaves and mini buds here and there and done a bit of Super Cropping.. Pre Flowering has started a little. The Madame Sour Jealousy from FastBuds is supposed to just grow, not start blooming!

Prof_Weed So today starts week 8, not the 10th week as noted here. I've stopped using the Fulvic and Novamax Grow, from now on it's just Novamax Bloom, Silicate, and Pro Bloom from Terra Aquatica as additives. Removed a few leaves and branches here and there. The plant has grown 11 cm since last week, let's see if it reaches 70 cm in the end. PPFD is around 580 on average, which gives about 41.76 DLI. I think it will need another 4 weeks, I'd be totally satisfied with 70 g dry weight.

Prof_Weed Today marks the 9th week, not the 12th week as noted here. In a few weeks, I'll start with Final Part from Terra Aquatica and Flash Clean to flush. Apparently, it needs 11 weeks of flowering time according to FastBuds' website. The buds are slowly getting fatter and the plant is super healthy. The EC value of the water rises from initially 1.5 to 2.5 as soon as the water level goes down. I always have to add a little water after 2-3 days. The temperatures are still too high for indoor, and the humidity is too. I will start indoor next time in October, but I wanted to see how it works in summer.

Prof_Weed The Sour Jealousy from FastBuds is doing great, the buds are slowly getting fatter and there's a little sparkle here and there on the leaves. She's a heavy drinker, 3 liters a day.. And she also smells interesting. I think the plant needs another 4 weeks..

Prof_Weed Everything is working perfectly, the buds are getting fatter and the plant smells really good.. I guess about 3 more weeks..

Prof_Weed Yesterday, I defoliated one last time, I think in about 10 days I'll start with Terra Aquatica Flash Clean and Final Part (the procedure will take a total of 12 days). The buds smell really good and the plant is more than healthy. It's getting fatter and fatter every day. So in 3 weeks, it will go into the Cannatrol Cool Cure. I think it should be around 100 g when dry, we'll see.

Prof_Weed The Sour Jealousy from FastBuds has been defoliated so that the lower regions can also get some light for the remaining days. I also have a SCROG net over it since the plant is now alone in the tent. Starting today, 2 days of Flash Clean from Terra Aquatica, then 8 - 10 days of Final Part, and then another 2 days of Flash Clean. My Cannatrol is already eagerly waiting for the buds. The roots smell a bit, but that's because I've been without peroxide for 2 weeks now. The plant doesn't care, it looks like it's straight out of a storybook. I estimate about 150 g dried.

Prof_Weed The last days for the Sour Jealousy from FastBuds.. Next Wednesday, I’ll add 2 days of FlashClean from Terra Aquatica. Until then, just Final Part. I’ve now used regular tap water so that the pH value doesn’t drop too low and stays stable. The EC value has risen from 2.5 to 6.0 in just one day, the plant definitely had enough nutrients today.. The pH value drops by almost 1% in just a few hours. I changed the water today right away. It’s definitely going to be a good yield, nothing can go wrong now because the harvest will go straight into the Cannatrol Cool.

Prof_Weed I could have easily added another 2 weeks.. But I consciously harvested now because I'm going to process the small buds and sugar leaves into bubble hash, that's a solid 479g, I have no idea what that will yield in bubble hash. If anyone knows, let me know in the comments.. I did a wet trimming, it took me 4 hours, but: 857g wet weight!! It's now going into the Cannatrol Cool Cure for 8 days. Edit: 186g dry weight after curing, all stems have been removed as well. Smells very fresh. The smoke is very mild, but the effect hits hard, more Sativa effects, had a mega chatty high.. Definitely a lot of THC. This was a midsummer grow, the Sour Jealousy from FastBuds handled the high temperatures without any issues. I should mention that my tent is basically always open, so I think that prevents mold from forming. I just have to work with 2 dehumidifiers.. I'm super happy and also proud, this is only my 4th harvest, I started growing in May 2023. Thank you so much dear grow god for the bountiful harvest!!
