Soaked in water in plastic pots for about 16 hours (or thereabouts) - then transferred to final 20 litre pots. The Cream Caramel should have been two plants but one of the seeds never germinated. Because they're all mixed in with the others, they are getting all of the above nutrients - which I'm not really supposed to do, based on the guides/feeding schedule, etc. However, i can't be bothered to mix up some separate stuff just for these and.... they're doing just fine so far. Not got much of a window, these will start to flower late August.

All four are doing fine, nice and healthy all round. A couple were transplanted and the other two were planted directly in final pots. Weeks 1 & 2 were mostly uneventful - weather was perfect, nice breeze and dancing around 30 degrees. Now the heatwave has started and it's averaging 33 - 38 in the daytime, one word: brutal. Nutrients are all of the above - and no signs of nutrient burn/stress at all.

These are all doing fine - the Gorilla Girl is a bit slower because the roots have more to fill out in the larger pot. They've had a good start in the plant nursery - now they're all outside in the baking heat.

They're spreading real good now - and handling the heat better than the autos by the looks of things. Looking good :) Busy trimming the autos this week which has caused an almost 1 week delay with the diaries.

If there's anything I've really noticed this year, it's the fact that photo period and F1 (fast version) plants definitely handle the sweltering heat a LOT better than auto flowers. All of these are looking really good. Strong bushy plants, nice even structure and some really nice stretching going on. To think that just these 5 may well yield more than all of the auto flowers combined this year. This is where Sweet Seeds seem to shine for me, I love their F1 strains :)

They're all doing great, not much to report. No pests, no deficiencies, nothing much of anything, except for the blazing temperatures :) Very smooth grow... so far. This should be Sweet Seeds redemption :)

I messed up the camera filter - apologies for the overblown colour snaps. They look a lot better in person :) Finally started to flower - these are all looking like beasts, especially the Gorilla Girl which taller than me now. Had a dip in temperature which was nice - followed by some decent humidity. Straight back up to the crazy temps now - but they're all handling the heat very well. As before, I think autos are much harder to figure out when it comes to higher temperature climates. F1/Fast Version and photo-periods in general seem to just love the heat and don't really seem to suffer at all. With autos, you get the stunted plant but it also accelerates the growth cycle - and finding a plant that doesn't stunt is the key. The difference is significant. You should get (with a lazy grow) around 50g dry (approx) - but a stunted plant will get you half that amount with exactly the same effort, etc. I plan to defoliate all the lower branches - just need to hurry up and actually do it :)

Plants are almost all flowering now - Blue Gelato and Gorilla Girl aren't showing many bud sites yet, the others are moving along quickly enough. My window is no more than mid October here, then the weather turns for the worst - not sure if these will all make it at this point.

They're really starting to swell up now - all except for the Gorilla Girl which is moving along much closer to a photo-period than a fast version (to be fair, it is about twice the size of the others) Very much at the mercy of the weather now - the heat has gone and the cold weather is kicking in. It's been a dramatic shift. Moved under a slight ledge to save them from the excessive downpours (which could kill the grow completely) They're doing well and proving to be strong and resilient in a tough climate.

They handled the blazing heat admirably, lovely aroma, nice dense buds. Very impressed with all the Sweet Seeds F1 strains - they're all top-notch and did a heck of a lot better than their auto flowers this year. They did not disappoint ;) The diary lost about 4 weeks near the end - Harvest was after around 7-8 weeks of flowering.

Another winner from Sweet Seeds. Harvested after 7-8 weeks flowering. The diary lost about a month (too busy trimming) Really sticky, and very dense buds. Handled the crazy heat really, really well - and the dip down to very cold nights. A strong, resistant, plant.

Gorilla by name, gorilla by nature. This one was damned big - I've never had an F1 like this before - absolutely massive. Took three evenings to harvest :) Once again, the top seed is (yet) another freebie seed from the guy in the grow shop. I didn't even pay for it :) Total cost for this grow? About 4 euros for the nutrients. The diary lost about a month - this was harvested after 8 - 9 weeks of flowering. Compared to the other two F1 plants (Tropicana Poison/Cream Caramel) this one started flowering around 7 - 10 days later. Probably the much bigger pot made the difference. I would recommend the biggest pots possible for these - same as photo periods.
