Onandon So here we are again. A new multi grow in my bigger tent with my 300w Mars Hydro led. For the first time I’ll be growing in my garage so temperature control will be more difficult as it gets hotter in the day, and cooler at night. Hopefully my monster extraction fan will keep temps down and not crush the tent from the negative pressure. It’s on a variable controller and sucking cooler air from outside of the building so it will be a lot of manual control. The four seeds germinated and they were placed in the soil mix on the 15th July. Fingers crossed, this will be an easy one. Two old favourites - fat banana and stress killer, along with two new ones - granddaddy purple and cherry pie.

Onandon So week one, dull pictures of three small plants. The fat banana seed failed so I’m just waiting for another seed to germinate. That’s it

Onandon Just a brief update this week. After the issues with the fat banana seeds not germinating, I went for a Watermelon auto instead. That’s in another tent so I can run a lower light level for the first week or so. It will then go into the main tent with the others. Nothing much to report other than daytime temps are a real issue when grousing in my shed. It’s very hard to keep temps down with the warmer weather. Hopefully a temporary issue and the plants won’t be affected too much.

Onandon A brief update. Back to four plants all growing well with no issues. They’re in biobizz allmix so they’ve just had ph balanced water to date. From here on the bigger plants will be supported by the full biobizz schedule. The two smaller plants will get the same treatment next week once they’ve developed a bit. It’s my 1st time trying this method so we’ll see what happens. Stress killer and watermelon are very easy to grow so I’m sure they’ll be fine.

Onandon All good so far. I’ve started adding some feed this week as I’m sure the fortified grow medium is probably running out of the good stuff. In the next few days I should start seeing two of the four start to flower. No issues

Onandon So the cherry pie is starting to foxtail so I need to address that and the watermelon is a runt. It’s a very small plant and isn’t developing but it’s too late to bin it and start again. I’ll let it go and see what happens The daddy and stresskiller are trucking along.

Onandon Another week and they’re just growing. Nothing major to report other than the lower leaves getting used up so they’re Turing yellow/ brown. The watermelon is a runt so it’s probably going to produce little to nothing. The others are all doing fine.

Onandon I’ve not really been on top of this diary for this grow. It’s kinda hard to come up with things to write when you just plan and they grow. They’re just on water now as they’re nearly ready to harvest. I think the only thing I’ve learned, is that growing in my shed isn’t ideal as the temps are too hard to control. I know this before I started but 🤷🏼‍♂️
