This week, the 4 Sticky Orange XXL plants are continuing to settle in their 12L fabric pots, while #5 is still in its 20L pot, waiting for the right moment to be placed outside. After a week of just tap water, I’ve introduced them to their first dose of BioBizz Grow. The dosage was kept moderate, since I want to ease them into the nutrients rather than overwhelm them.
I’ve been giving them water every 2-3 days, depending on how dry the soil feels. Each plant has been receiving around 600ml of water per session. No training techniques have been applied yet; I’m holding off until they reach 4 nodes. The node spacing is still quite tight, and I want to let them stretch just a bit more before I top them. The plan is to top at 4 nodes, which should give me 8 solid main branches to train through the SOG net later on.
Growth is steady, and all plants look healthy so far, except #5 which I think is due to the cheap and very hard soil. I’m keeping an eye on their overall progress and making sure the environment stays consistent. No issues with nutrient burn or deficiency yet, which is a good sign that they’re adjusting well to their new feeding schedule.
Looking forward to next week when the real training begins!
