Limec For germination, I decided to place the seed in tap water. After 24 hours, the seed was ready to sprout its root. Another 24 hours later, the root was about 2cm long, and I decided to plant it. On July 29th, you could see the seed lifting out of the substrate, and 8 hours later, the cotyledons unfolded. They left the seed shell without any assistance.

Limec At the start of week 2, I watered the plant again with about 100ml. It seems to be absorbing the water well, as there was no drainage visible. On day 10, I watered the plant with about 100ml of water.

Limec In the 3rd week, I started transplanting the plant into a 1.5-liter pot. For substrate, I used lightmix from BioBizz and added mycorrhiza granules to support root growth. I haven't used mycorrhiza before, so I'm a bit curious to see how the roots will develop with it. After transplanting, I watered the plant with about 250 ml of water. At the beginning of day 20, I watered the plant again with about 250 ml. That's all that happened this week.

Limec At the beginning of week 4, it's noticeable that the plant has only developed minimally in height, but it's also clear that it has made good use of the week since repotting to develop its roots. The drainage holes at the bottom show that the roots are already reaching all the way down again. Since the pot is still relatively moist, it doesn't need to be watered again just yet. I think I'll let the plant grow all week. On day 26, I decided to move the plant to a new pot, and I must say next time I would do it a few days earlier, as the roots have grown very, very strong. Maybe it's due to the mycorrhiza. I gave the plant about half a liter of clear water and I'm giving it the deserved rest for today.

Limec After I repotted last week, this week it was time to remove some of the upper leaves. It doesn't look great, but the new shoots just weren't getting enough light. I actually wanted to take care of this a bit earlier, but it just didn't fit; we had some hot days and I didn't want to stress them unnecessarily. I'm going to let them grow for now and see if we might remove a few more leaves later. For sure, I need to pay attention this time to how the roots are developing so I don't end up repotting too late again. I will repot one more time before they go into the final pot. Day 32: I watered the plant today with a good half liter of water; the roots seem to be developing well since they have been visible at the drain holes since day 31. On day 33, I removed the top leaves. Day 35: I watered the plant again with a good half liter of clear water.

Limec At the beginning of week 6, there's not much to report. There are a few signs of "burns" on the tips of the leaves. I would guess it's over-fertilization, but I've only added a tiny bit of Calmag to the water so far. I'm going to leave that out for now and see if that might have been the issue. I think I'll repot the plant in the next few days, but I want the roots to keep growing for a few more days. By day 37, it was time to repot again. The plant moved from a 3.5 L pot to a 6.5 L pot. On day 39, I generously defoliated the plant and tied down the branches a bit so everything gets nice light. From above, the light reaches all areas.

Limec At the start of week 7, not much has happened yet. A little too little height growth, but let's see how it develops; I'm not too worried about it yet, just waiting to see how it continues. Maybe I did something wrong. Since this is my first photo, that's quite possible. Day 48, the plant has developed good roots again, so it was time for repotting. At the same time, I decided to defoliate it significantly and remove everything that's too close to the center and won't get light in the long run. I also removed all the shading leaves and tied the lowest branches out a bit again. I watered the plant with 2 liters of clear water and will let it be for now.

Limec At the beginning of the last week of growth, the plant is doing well recovering from defoliation. Currently, I water about 2 liters every 2 days. The LST wires are moved a bit every few days so that the branches are always nicely guided outward.

Limec Since I had to go to the hospital on short notice due to a disc that wasn't cooperating, there’s a good half week missing, during which the plant was only watered with clear water and nothing else was done. On day 62, the plant was thoroughly defoliated again, and all the shoots were shaped via LST, and the light schedule was switched to 12/12. On day 63, it got a good drink with some fertilizer from BioBizz. On days 65 and 67, the plant received 2 liters of water each time.

Limec In flowering week 2, I adjusted the LST a bit again. Additionally, I watered the plant with 3 liters of water mixed with BioBizz fertilizer. Currently, she gets about 2.5 liters of water with fertilizer every 2 days. Then I always check in every now and then to see if the LST needs a little tweaking, which is usually the case. The first flower hairs are also visible. All in all, she looks pretty good.

Limec At the beginning of flowering week 3, there isn't really anything new to report. The leaves have regained a rich green color thanks to the nutrients, but unfortunately, the pictures don't show how beautifully green they really are. On day 77, I watered with 3 liters of water, and by day 79, she was already very thirsty again, so I fed her another 2 liters of water. On day 82, I watered the little plant again with 3 liters of water and removed a few leaves to allow more light to reach the lower buds.

Limec At the start of week 4 of flowering, I removed a few isolated leaves and watered with 2 liters of water. On day 84, I watered again with 2 liters. On day 86, I watered the plant again with 3 liters of water and removed a few more leaves for better light saturation. When you open the tent, you can already smell a delicious vanilla scent.

Limec At the beginning of the week, I watered the plant with 3 liters of water and also removed a few damaged leaves. On the 3rd day of the week, I watered again with 3 liters of water and did the same on the 5th day. I've also removed a few leaves here and there, and as you can see in the photos, I've often admired the trichomes, not because it's time for that, but because I just find the pictures fascinating.

Limec At the beginning of the week, I watered the plant as usual with 3 liters of water. On day 3 of the week, I watered the little plant again with another 3 liters of water and checked the trichomes. They're slowly turning milky now, so the harvest time is approaching. Day 6 of the week and I watered again with 3 liters of water.

Hi there, Thank you for running this diary. We will be looking forward to your updates. Happy growing 🌱🌱 & Good luck 😃
Smoking_Joe_Frazier
Hi Limec, I think you're a bit late for a photoperiod plant. The days are getting shorter and the plant is entering the flowering phase. Little tip, for such late grows it's better to use autoflower seeds. Still keeping my fingers crossed that you get a little something out of it 🍀🥦
