1st hydro grow! What have I gotten into

So soil has been going good and I wanted a separate tent and decided to try my hand at hydro. Got a temp bucket but I have a hydro bucket coming. So far she is just getting going and I have not killed her so I guess we are good to go. Got a small chiller coming tomorrow to keep the water perfect and decided to make my life a little easier and try out TPS’s ONE dosing solution. I also have some great white and AG Farm Friendly bacteria to keep the roots happy. Big shout to Fast Buds for sending my some seeds and trusting me to do good for them.

Not really sold on this hydroponic thing yet and I do know everybody says not much happens in the first week while the roots established themselves and I didn’t see any roots coming out of the basket until Thursday and now there’s probably a 3 foot root going into the bucket. The second set of leaves in the picture we’re not there yesterday. They weren’t even little nubs yesterday so that’s very promising. If Anybody’s looking for a good chiller. I got this guy for 129 on prime day and within 30 minutes. It took my water from 78 degrees to 67 in 30 min!! it’s rated for 16 gallons and I’ve been very very impressed. I went crazy with air stones and other things to protect the roots from rot. I was so scared because I never thought I could afford a chiller. I will tell you the southern AG Is awesome if you’re planning on getting root guard check this stuff out it’s half the price and twice the concentrate! I can’t stand this 5 gallon bucket set up. It is such a pain in the ass to lift the lid so I ordered a Hydro bucket, which should be here at the end of the week. I’ll add a little review of that. I think that’s gonna make my life so easy for .

The chiller with Great white and southern AG is keeping the roots nice! Totally overkill but the res was sitting at 77 degrees. Picture is from 2 hours into week 3 so I am missing a week of growth. Plant looks super healthy so far and yea the roots are as white as an actors teeth!

She is right on the edge of finally flowering. Still trying to get a little more cal mag on her cause she is awfully light green. Funny my girls in the tent next door are on auto pilot and this one seems picky as hell. Totally expecting to peek in on her one day and it’s totally dead from something. Still not sold oh well I can always throw a single plant in this tent if I don’t dig the Hydro and I’m only out 36 bucks for the bucket plus the air pump

Seem to work good I don’t think that was the cause of my issues. I think it was more ventilation and heat issue inside the tent.
