Comfrey This one need exactly one week for germination. It’s my first year growing cannabis. Cause I have good experiences in permaculture vegetable growing in my garden, I decided to do things similar. And now, after collecting some experience during my first grow, I will do things similar but different, too. This grow I will use field horsetail tee as the (l)only fertilizer till two weeks before the end + twice bokashi juice during vegetation. The charcoal compost is nearly two years old. During composting process I added fermented bokashi with citrus fruit peel, egg shells, oyster shells, fishbones and vegetable waste and some chicken manure, some bat guano, dolomite rock flour, too. This well rotted compost was way still to rich in nutrients for potting. So this second grow will be done with a mix of my charcoal compost and coco coir (~80/20). We‘ll see if this works better.

Comfrey Good start. In the night‘s the seedling is protected by a glass bowl against rain and cold winds. No watering. It‘s raining.

Comfrey I missed to take some fotos ore a video. So I chooses to show where the soil is made: in Comfreys garden. Unfortunately I‘m not allowed to grow there my weed. It‘s a community garden with privat owned ground but with a lot of neighbors. The German law allows to grow cannabis in your own garden for private use but not in a private garden situated in a community garden club (Kleingartenverein). But anyway I’m lucky because we have a very sunny balcony, too. Next week more fotos…

Comfrey She started to stretch, preflower starts. Healthy plant. I gave a bit of Bokashi juice as well as field horsetail tee. In general these plant and the others from this grow are larger and the distance between nodes is nearly double then in my first grow with pure charcoal compost.

Comfrey She is on a good way I think, but she also have or had some stress. Some insects are interested in her, but I don‘t care about this theme so much. Lice disappeared already out of the garden. They sit under the Mexican sunflower and nasturtiums leaves.

Comfrey She reacts quit good at defoliation last week and at the low stress training, too. I water my plants twice if it‘s sunny and hot. Actually I don‘t measure it. The weight of the pot before and after watering… So I got more relaxed, try not to do too much and we‘ll see how they react. I don‘t have rainwater anymore. That‘s not so good.

Comfrey Easy week. Just watering and enjoy the sunshine. In the early mornings the humidity is quit high but the plants look healthy. I add a bit of apple vinegar to the water so it have a PH of 6,5-7.

Comfrey Probably two more weeks. I‘m not sure of the high humidity. Right now I don‘t see any signs of mold but during my first grow I had some problems with it. So I check the flowers every day for early signs. Just water.

Comfrey This is the last week. Every second evening I did an ice water flush. At day 90 she moved from the sunny balcony to the dark basement. I chose and bought a grow tent for me and my wife. So the winter we‘ll be growing our weed for the spring and summer. But actually I love to grow outdoors. Next outdoor season will be only in half a year. For me the arriving of the tent a few days ago gives me the possibility to dry without the smell in the house. Happy legal growing!

Comfrey After two days in darkness Green Poison Xl Auto I cut the main stem and hang her to dry into the tent. Beautiful smell inside, nothing to smell outside. 😅😄

Green Poison XL Auto is a well balanced hybrid. I like it. Very smooth smoke, delicious vape and the high comes slowly and long lasting. I tried it in the mornings, better to use it in the afternoon and in the evening. Curing for four weeks was enough for a super soft and delicious smoke. Normally I vape, but in some situations I smoke it pure in hemp paper. And this strain is very suitable for that. I want sweets and cookies after some time. So I need more apples and bananas to compensate the munchie need. 63 Gramms from a four liter pot. Probably I will grow it again.
