First grow

Cannabananza Day 11 above ground Soil - Roots Organic Lush I have a 5 gallon bucket that I’ve had sitting for a couple weeks with an air pump and air stone. Have no ph’d water. Been feeding every other day except for day 11. Fed water day 10 and it seemed like the soil was dry the next day so I gave her more water. Using Auto Pot for the water feeding system to my girl. Have no started to use that as she’s still young BUT she’s so big it’s going to start soon for her! I am also not sure if I am going to train her or just leaf tuck like is recommended. First timer and just not sure. LST is what im leaning towards

Cannabananza Been taking small leaves not able to get direct light. She’s branchy. She’s fun. Can’t tell if I have light burn or wind burn. Moved both light and oscillating fan up today to see if that helps. My guess is the fan as I have t moved it since she broke ground. Either way increased intensity to 50% power at 20” away from the plant. All I have done is let my water sit out for 24-48 hours in a 5 gallon bucket to dechlorinate the water. Then dump the water into my reservoir for the AutoPot feeder. Haven’t ph’d water as I was told with Roots Organics Lush you don’t have too. I haven’t fed any nutrients thus far. This has been a ton of fun! Easy so far too. I did my research and so far, paying off!

Cannabananza Just been plucking leaves not needed and tucking others. I’m so glad I did this. It’s fun. The challenge it presents give me goose bumps. The light is at 40% strength. Approximately 19” above canopy. Light is as high as it will go. So this will be fun. Autopot-USA.com for the no power needed self watering system. Roots Organics Lush has not disappointed this far. Three weeks in the books. Looking forward to this next week. Thinking about feeding her day 28. Not sure yet. Want to start feeding her Gold Lead nutrients at or just before preflower. Which would coincide about day 28 or so, as I was told. Mephisto Genetics for the win. Making this easy for first timers. Already thinking about what’s next and I’m truly leaning towards Canna Cheese 1:1. For the wife and I.

Cannabananza Well missed last week, sorry about that my little followers. New week is upon us and she’s been mad at me. My nutrient I was using wasn’t pulling the weight I needed! So I called an audible and went to a whole new line of nutrients(notice an ‘s’ after that). Went with Athena Blended series nutrients. I was told it’s friendly with watering systems and not clogging things up and what not. Also did some research and seems legit. Going to change my medium for next grow as well. It that Lush hasn’t been awesome. It is for sure and who knows. I may stick with it after next grow. We will see. I love not having to worry about anything up to week 5 of a grow other than just water. So, as stated above I went to a new line of nutrients. Gold Leaf just didn’t work as I was instructed to use as we see in the pic. So the switch happened. Added Nutes on day 43 above soil and we shall see. I also turned the intensity of the light to 6 now. She’s not far from the light but I do feel the intensity should be turned up. She’s flowering and it smells. So. I’m doing something right so far. Hopefully this continues.

Cannabananza I feel bad for her but going into week 7 today/day 49 as of today above ground. Planning on a big defoliation tomorrow to get rid of the ugly leaves and anything bleaker that does need to be there. Added a couple 4” fans in the tent to get air to push more around. The little dehumidifier is bad ass. Tomorrow she will get her second week of nutrients since showing herself. Lush from Roots Organics is a very great starting medium imo. Didn’t ph anything. Just added water the first five weeks. I’m learning. Wish I had a bigger tent to work with but then again the room it’s in can’t take anything bigger than this small 2x2. Can’t wait to be able to use my 3x3 next year!
