BALKON BUSH PPOG

sweetdew I've had the lady as a cutting since April. She's steadily grown into a beautiful bush that I have to defoliate repeatedly to avoid any mold issues during flowering. Since she's already showing slight signs of pre-flowering, I'm starting Cal-Mag from now on. She's at 101cm tall and 71cm wide. She takes all the nutrients she can get.

sweetdew She's growing peacefully on her own. Since I had a mite infestation from a tomato plant, I started spraying a mixture of Leaf Coat and Neem oil. It seems to be working well. Neem oil doesn't harm the plants at all, as it breaks down after 3 days, so it's the best solution for eliminating pests outdoors. She's now 90cm wide.

sweetdew Dear Diary: The Leaf Coat-Neem treatment was successful, our plants are healthy and the pests are gone for now. I have sprayed twice at intervals of 5 days and will apply the mixture once more and then use Leaf Coat pure. Leaf Coat is already an expensive product, but it's very useful outdoors and almost necessary in the garden or field. The beauty is now 90cm wide, at 120cm height. Since it already has a slight smell and is in pre-flowering, I’m adding some flowering fertilizer proportionally. A lot has been done, some things are still pending. Enjoy Life

sweetdew Dear Diary: The lady is now called Green Manalishi, mysterious, beautiful, and predictably heavily intoxicating. Green Manalishi is now 94cm wide and 125cm tall. She is very hungry and thirsty, which is clear for such a bush. The lady hasn't stretched much so far and is slowly but surely transitioning into flowering. I'm a bit surprised that she stubbornly retains the thin Sativa leaves given her genetics; I'm very curious to see how this develops. I'll give her a proper trim in the next few days. sweetdew Dear diary, it has been a few tough days, hence the delay. I have defoliated our Green Manalishi a bit and tied her up again. This way, she can bloom more freely. It's amazing that the sativa genetics are now also visible in the flowering. Since it is still very hot and our ladies are on a south-facing balcony, they get sun umbrellas during the day to reduce stress. sweetdew Dear diary, I've now harvested a little more than half. First, I separated the individual branches and hung them up with the small leaves in the box. After 4 days, I trimmed them and kept them in the box for another 2 days. Now I'm going to cut the buds and pack them in jars with regular ventilation. The smell is already out of this world. 😈😄 Green Manalishi can stay for a few more days until more amber-colored trichomes are visible. This way, we have one part that gets you nicely high and one that should help you relax. A lot has been done, but some things are still left unfinished. Enjoy life!

sweetdew Dear diary, 14 days after the first partial harvest, we finally harvested the Green Manalishi on October 25th. I split the branches, washed them, and hung them in boxes after a day on the drying rack. They will stay there until the little branches crack. It smells very delicious, like a red fruit cocktail with a splash of red wine. The harvest report will come after the first tasting. A lot has been done, but some things are still left unfinished.
