Snow Ryder auto(white label) cfl mini grow indoors (~200€ budget)
I flushed my 2litre of pre-fertilized soil (plagron grow mix 10-14-24npk) with about 5litre of 50:50 tap/rain water and mixed it with about 3litre coco.
Additionally I have a 80:20 coco/flushed soil mix selfmade jiffy and placed it on top of my 7litre pot. Cling film for the humidity of course ;)
I hope my seed can take the flushed hot soil mix.
I’m going to upload more pics as soon as the seed germinates. Looks messy right now, my apologies.
it popped out of the soil after 32hrs, so happy with white label autoflowers :)
My plant gets 50w of CFL 6500k right now
I think i should add that this is a low budget grow. I paid around 150€ for everything.
I hope ill get at least 15g dry out of this plant
Day 6 : added 46w of 2700k + removed inner pot.
Plant is now exposed to the hot plagron grow mix / 50% coco
Week 2 day 1
plant is just happy but I would love to see some faster vegging.
Day 2
Fan adjustment today, felt like the plant was getting little windburn ( slight curling on the edge and dry/rough leaves)
Day 3
Added Horn- Bonemeal mix as Top dress today. It’s really fine grained so I hope this is going to help out with N + P in flower stage
Day 4
Plant still not ramping up. My guess is the roots are not developed well enough to get to the edge of the pot where the majority of the pre fertilized soil is at
Day 5
Drained the whole pot with 1l rainwater and tested run off water. It’s at 6.3ph. Hopefully the plant can reach all the nutrients now. I will add compost tea in about 3weeks. I need to wait for the compost to finish first at least partly.
Next grow will be better for sure when I’m more prepared.
Day 7
LST
My soil feels dead tbh.
I don’t have high expectations on yielding 15g dried bud at this point. Maybe the plant is just slow at start tho who knows.
Day1
Just waiting to water again
Day2
Some watering near the stem, tomorrow near the edge. Think I’ll go with that for some time.
Day3
1litre water
Day4 (12.08.)
LST #2
went out and got some stinging nettle today (brennnessel) for the extra juice :)
Day5
First white hairs popping up, I knew it
Day7
Plant is stretching AF 😉
Day1
Lollipoped and defoli
Day2
Main stem snapped by trying to tie it down once more XD
Taped it immediately. I’m still in shock but the plant seems to recover.
Fortunately it didn’t break off, only snapped half way
Day 4
I decided to remove the stem that i accidentally broke
Day 5
Watered with selfmade nettle fertilizer, I can’t recommend it unless you are using a carbon filter. It smells terrible.
Day 6
Last time defoliation. Also some more canopy-flattening
Day 7 another huge growth (the selfmade fertilizer doing in work)
being too lazy to upload lately.
I decided to go with 110w of cfl at this point till harvest. Im not interested in spending more money when im sure ill get a new led for next years grow.
Also as a substitute for going with that low wattage I place the plant on my windowsill during 9am to 1pm. That’s a short span but all I can get at my location
day4
resin buildup becomes noticeable now
Day5
I hope the buds will thicken some more soon
Day2 of week 7
44st day since germination / 26st of bloom
Plant is thriving. I’m feeding nettle tea, earthworm castings, blackstrap molasses every 2nd feeding
1more month to go at max
D3
Buds really starting to fatten up now
i d k if snow ryder auto is worth trying for you but one thing is for sure: it seems like it has pretty consistent growing patterns, from what i can read on the info page and comparing it how it went for me.
good job! are you sure she was done already? on week 8 she looked like she could need 3 more weeks, you missing out big on yield, they stack up the most in the last 2 weeks. But anyways 27g with that setup is great!
Love the ghetto set-up! Good results with what you had there, very interesting. I'd have left it longer for those buds to fill out some more, but good stuff anyway,
