I was going to keep her as a mother. Took 5 cuttings, but none took ( most-likely poor humidity, oops). This is when I decided to flower her. It was later than ideal, her branching is insane and she was staggering nodes, just streaming to flower. This should be a fun grow.
She's recovering from moderate defoliation. Way to close too the light, watching for light stress. Prefer not to 90 degree branches at this point... will if I have to.
Getting some frost. Stacking and bulking. Fans are turning yellow. pH has been good. Water and EC dropping simultaneously with a slight pH climb. Started giving her cal mag, upped her bloom and decreased her micro, which hasn't helped. Looks like a magnesium deficiency and possibly phosphorus, hence the dietary changes. pH has been normal, she's been flowering for 5 weeks, possibly normal redirection of resources. I'm concerned about purple leaf veins, petioles and pistils have a pink tint, which didn't occur the last time I ran this cultivar (same batch of seeds).
Trichs are mostly milky. Sugar leaves have some amber and only found one lone calyx with amber. She's still throwing fresh pistils. Hung yoyos to keep the branches from hitting the floor... good problems, happy days, she's a beast. I wasn't sure whether I could pull this off in a 3 gallon pot. Couple of weeks to chop.
Flushed this week with 6.3 pH water. Perfect timing, few trichs are beginning to show amber, few days to a week to harvest. Beautiful, sticky, skunky, dense flowers.
She's not done, I'm guessing another week. We're at day 63 since the emergence of Q-tip sized bud development. Last run of this cultivar finished at 80 days.
Good run. She was supposed to be a mother plant, but my clones didn't root, probably due to low humidity. Roots grew out the bottom of pot into auto-watering reservoir. Started in 50/50 Ocean Forest and Promix HP and showed deficiencies two weeks in. Began feeding her like hydro, vegged for around 8 weeks and was ready to flower on 18 hours of light. After flip to 12/12, she had flowers forming in 6 days. About 6 months seed to harvest, 70 days of flower. Currently hanging at 60% humidity and 70 F. Will update later with dry weight. Great genetics. Bought these seeds in 2020 from ILGM.
