The tent was hot this week. I had to keep the doors open throughout most of the light cycle. Took a look at this strain and thought it might be fun to grow. I'll top one plant and train both/other plant to gather some data before the next run.
Only a couple of pics this week showing their progress through 14 days from seed. Giving them a little water every 2-3 days and they seem to be doing well. Next week I'll add some nutes to help with root zone development.
Just cruising along with some light feeding this week. I'll be moving them to the big tent early next week. At that point they'll be under the cmh light.
This will be the last week these girls are in veg. Pre flowers surfaced recently and they'll only get bigger from here on out. I love the plant structure so far. They're looking robust!
Both plants transitioned from veg to flower this week. Had some stretching and bunches of pistils appear at flower sites. Started to feed them some basic bloom nutrients. Both plants were leaning so I put tomato cages on them and used some LST techniques to get better posture.
Flower sites started to develop into nice little nugs with pistils. Added Big Bud and Herculean Harvest to the nutrient mix. I think both are done stretching now. These topped pretty well. I didn't lose to much in the stretch.
Chuggin right along and finished 7 weeks from seed. Entering the middle flowering stage and they're starting to pack on a little weight. I stopped the Bud Ignitor and increased the Big Bud dosage. Lots of trichomes are starting to develop so I'm pleased with the results so far.
I noticed the canopy was blocking some light to the lower bud sites so I defoliated a little bit on both plants on day 55. The buds are small and dense. A lot of frost is starting to build up. Going to switch it up next week with the nutrient feeding as we get closer to the finish line.
I ran out of Rhino Skin this week. I won't be replacing it. Stopped feeding Big Bud and switched to the late bloom feeding of Overdrive. It doesn't appear that either of these will yield that much but the nugs look really dense and frosty.
Started to starve the nitrogen out and fed the girls carbs, sweeteners and liquid bonemeal to get the flush process flowing... Both girls are dripping with frost and starting to show signs of foxtailing. Should be a trippy harvest!
I was hoping to harvest these around day 78-79 but the trichomes tell me to keep on truckin! We're feeding them just a flush additive and hoping to harvest around day 85-86 but we'll wait and see.
