1 x White Label Master Kush in (90 x 90 x 180) - GHF Bio line
07.08.
- watered the plant using 150 ml dechlorinated, oxygenated tap water
- i realized, that 50 % Perlite is just too much
05.08.
- Master Kush #2 has popped. #1 is dead - seed shell didn´t crack
- put both seeds in a glas of un-ph-ed dechlorinated tap water
- dunked them after ~12 hours ... both sunk to the ground
- prepared a custom LS potting mix of 2 x 1.125 L each
0,65 L plagron promix
0,36 L Canna Coco Prof.+
0,34 L worm castings
1,2 L Perlite
0,2 L Pumice
Added dry amendmends as follows:
- 20 g GHF Bio Grow
- 7 g GHF Bio Bloom (slow release)
- 2 tblsp. GHF Bio Enhancer
- 1 tblsp. rootmax Myko
- 2 tblsp. Almicanna Bokashi +
Because of the high percentage of perlite and how it compacts wet, i added about 0.3 L perlite + 0.2 L pumice (...ish) to get close to the desired 1.125 L per pot
Tomorrow night (Aug, 02nd) i will transplant the seeds no matter what into the potting mix (72 hours after putting them in a glas of water)
16.08.
- she doesn´t seem to be overly happy, as her "greens" are a bit too bright. Her main stem is not that thick to support her weight properly
- in think the percentage of perlite in the soil mix is too high
- anyways - i´ll keep her growing
15.08.
- watering day - 150 ml pH 6.4 (ish)
21.08.
- she´s not there where i´ve expected her to be at this time of growth stage
- i topped her
- hope she´s recovering fast
I´ve also prepared a 33 L Custom-LS-Mix for her to be transplanted in the next day or so. The fabric pot is "root heaven root riot" by almicanna. Thrilled to see what it can do in terms of holding the moisture levels at the sides facing the fabric. Using felt tends to let the soil become hydrophobic and turn watering the plant into a hassle.
26.08.
- transplanted the MK into her final pot - 33 L root heaven root riot. The soil used is left over from a previous run with RQS Apple Fritter, which fell victim to bud rot.
- i had way toom much drainage in the starting soil (perlite), so it was a nightmare to get the root mass out there undamaged. I guess, she´ll need a couple of days more to recover from that.
- using cover crop this time to make the top layer of the soil less hydrophobic
23./24.09.
- topped her several times to somehow maintin her height
- she´s very sturdy and needs to flipped any time soon or will demand the whole tent
19.09.
- she going crazy ! My main tent needs get to harvested so i can move the MK into the bigger space. Then, flipping her into flower. She´s outgrowing every other plant 😶
28.09.
- the additional moisture sensors arrived. The MK got one to monitor the bottom 3rd of the soil
27.09.
- moved the MK along with 2 other plants (Royal Medic by RQS & Tezla OG by Sensi Research) to the 3 x 3 AC-Infinity under 500 Watts
- LST´d the shit out of her and tried to mantain her height somehow to become more horizontal. Her stems have already turned really sturdy
- bending the upper pair of nodes too hard accidentally broke her in half. Fixed her up using scotch tape to prevent air from drying the "open wound"
26.09.
- the MK is all over the freakin' place ! Topped her several times and she´s just keeps exploding !
- LST-Wire with the clips ain´t to do sh*t anymore ! With the stems bending upward, it just snaping of the clips ... need some idea´s here ! It´s a fabric pot by root heaven (root riot)
- just water the plant when dry
- to better control the moisture level of the soil, i use EcoWitt Sensor "pistols" (shaped like a hand gun).
For next runs i ordered additional top layer sensors, as well as sensors to be positioned 1/3 obove the bottom of the pot. So measurements at the top and the bottom of your pots take all the guesswork out of the watering process.
Top layer sensor telling u WHEN to water your LS
Bottom sensor is telling u HOW MUCH - in relation to ur pot size
Luvin' it !
03.10.
- she definetly got a drinking problem !
- ~ 5 litres in 35 h
- she´s pushing growth as f...rog
- i´m a bit scared in regard of the stretch when flipping the light cycle
03.11.
- she´s doing great ! She stretched quite a bit
- used GHF Enhancer for the first time in this run to refresh beneficial bacteria and fungi in the living soil
- added some red light
05.11.
- Lollipopping her big time !
- had to remove many promising side branches - but there is too little space left
- she can finally breathe again
- very powerful plant - i´m looking forward to the end results
I´ve had a very leafy pheno which didn´t look like the marketing pictures at all ;-) But that´s due to thrips infestation, too much "N" in the soil and the very progressive VPD. The buds also tend to be fluffy and not as compact as i like´em to be.
The "nose" is very earthy, spicey, musky, kushy, with fruity undertones. But that´s very subjective, i guess.
I will definitely grow that strain again in my new setup, just because i´m curious what i can get out of it.
Looking forward to the next run
Week 09.12. - 12.12.2024
- plant was very dry and stanked up the tent with hay smell
- soil was bone dry - 9 - 12 % per EcoWitt sensor
- trichomes were exactly where i wanted them to be. Very little amount clear, a lot of them milky and even more amber
Thanks ...
It´s a Cannatrol Cool Cure with Vaportrol technology. It´s controlling the dew point and dry bulb (air) temperature to precisely manage the VPD in that fridge-looking (in fact, it is ^^) device. It is also gradually bringing the rH down slowly for a more gentle drying & curing process.
More bound moisture in the flower (more net weight), more smell (preserved terps) and more stickyness ... i have never experienced a more hassle free post-harvest process.
Simply place the roughly pre-trimmed wet buds into the Cannatols, press start - wait ... after 8 days, the result is ready to be transferred into jars - or to be consumed 👻 . No more 'burping' needed.
This way, you can achieve consistently perfect harvest results after every harvest—no matter the season. No need for a second tent or room / box with exhaust, dehumidifier, humidifier, air conditioning, or any other extra equipment.

@Dernert420, Sorry - Kommentar völlig übersehen. Mea culpa !
