Hello ! You put the kitchen paper tube on a branche , you put a scotch on the top of the tube to make it light proof and you wait 2 weeks. The fact that this part of the plant doesn't receive light will induce flowering on the branch only and you will know if it is a male or female.

Hey there @Clone_Guerilla! The best and only way to be sure about the sex of a plant is to watch for signs of preflowers in their 4-6th week of growth. You can easily identify the different by looking at the base of their stem were to branches meet and you will see signs of sex. For a female plant you will see what are called calyx which will sprout pistils that look kinda like hair. For a male plant you will spot the calyx turn into ball sacks to back pollen instead of calyx to make eggs. The best way is to look for the pistils to be 100% certain. I HIGHLY recommend femiminized seeds to guarantee all female plants! I hope that helps!
