First-timer with a full Mars Hydro setup (TS 1000 & 80x80x160 Tent)

Nothing interesting to say... I just added some Humic Acid Plus and Growzyme to my More Roots from Green Buzz in my Terra Soil Mix with every watering. 🎼 The plants just woke up into this world, so to celebrate their birth and welcoming them as the princesses they tend to become, I decided to play some Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf & Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake on a Bluetooth speaker during each watering or simple courtesy visit I made. Yet notice that Rossini's Barber of Seville & Vivaldi's Four Seasons was used as a booster during the second part of the week.

I know Autoflowers don't need to be repot, but I did it anyway. Instead of the Terra Light Mix from Cellmax, I've poured their Terra Soil Mix and choose bigger pots : - 4X20L. (that comes with the full setup) - 4X5L. (as a foreseen gift for Mr. Smee) Because... yes... finally... eight plants... repot surprise... Day 8 I've watered the new soil step by step with 1.25L of tap water to let it time to absorb it properly before moving the girls. After that, another 1.25L but with the Green Buzz stuff. 🎼 To not bring them too much stress, the repot session was made under Chopin's Nocturne and Yann Tiersen's Amélie Poulain Soundtrack. Day 9 In the morning, seemingly, the soil was wet enough. To avoid overwatering, I decided to put them on a diet today. 🎼 I served them Madonna 80's bangers for breakfast instead without let them even know that they was that close to get Cyndi Lauper on the menu. Paul Simon and Billy Joel was served during the night. Day 10 The soil was still moist enough this morning. Once again, it didn't need more water... Before night time, still enough moisture 😳 🎼Phil Collins in the morning. Cat Stevens before bed time. Day 11 OMG! Still. Didn't. Need. Water. Neither in the morning nor before the night. 🎼 To make them thirsty, I've try Limp Bizkit in the morning and Deftones in the night. Day 12 Either someone come into my barn watering my girls during the night, either they still have enough in their pots, because the soil was still humid enough. 🎼AC/DC in the morning. The Rolling Stones in the night. Day 13 Even facing the recent needs in water, I decided to visit my local grow shop with Mr. Smee to bought me the 225L Flexi Tank... and I found some other stuff, like pH buffer and so... 🎼 The 7th Symphony of Beethoven in the morning but the Jefferson Airplane for the night, because an afternoon with Mr.Smee easily put you in that kind of mood. Day 14 A little worry about the soil pH level, I had to flush the beds a little bit. But today, back to normal before night time after a pH downed to 6 on tap water without any nutriment to let the soil stamped. To be honest, it was quicker than I thought. Soil was at 7.7 yesterday morning. I was able to stabilised it tonight at 6.5, 6.7ish, depending the pots. I also noticed that the girls in the 5L. pots was a little late compared to their other sisters in the 20L. ones... So, as put on photo, I've decided to give them some high and put them in the center of the room, right under the light, for more PPFD. 🎼Today was dedicated to Good Ol' Classics like Handel, Pachelbel, etc... Thought that was adequate to avoid more stress. Back to big fat rock tomorrow for another week if everything looks good. So far so good

Got to stamp my soil a little bit more, it's pH level was above 7.7 in some of the pots. I'll attempt to do so without hurting the girls too much. I invested in a new pH meter and had to buy some Nortembio to lower my water too. Day 15 Everything's goin' his way like planned. 🎼 Franck Sinatra to begin the day, because why not. But with the appearance of the last leaves, I couldn't help myself but make them listen to Cypress Hill at dusk. Day 16 Thought it was time to bring some girls to the hairdresser and start their training. Topping and LST with some clips bought on Amazon. 🎼Some old Wu Tang for breakfast and Rage Against The Machine before night Day 17 I decided to put on the second pairs of clips onto two of the bigger plants, at their higher branches this time. Everything looked good, even the leaves colour 🎼 Today was served the Foo Fighters at dawn, so as at night, because Dave Grohl is the best. No debate. Day 18 I started to cut the lower branches on the biggest ones with disinfected scissors and they reacted in the nicest way. 🎼I put on some Ray Charles and Andrews sisters to remind them the good ol' days at the hairdresser salon. Day 19 Nothing to say 🎼 Also nothing but AC/DC and the Rolling Stones. Day 20 One of the girl seemed to dislike the hearings she got. Two branches snapped and I didn't knew what to do. I guessed that whatever I've done to keep them, I think that I'll end up loosing one, even both of them. 🎼 Healing session with some Piano Classics. The coolest ones. Day 21 Spectacular grow during the night. On the girl who snapped two branches : One branch died, the other one did it. 🎼Wagner & Beethoven for the boost. All day long.

Day 22 I readjusted my LST and it looked like I know what I'm doing, even if I freaking don't. I offer one of my plant to a friend of mine this afternoon. Win win situation : one happy friend and more room for the remaining girls to expand. 🎼I've continued to serve them Classics. Honestly, they seemed to like it more than big fat rock... Day 23 Had to HST one of the girl to realign her head with the canopy... I pinched the branches I wanted to bend befbore doing anything as I didn't wanted to breaking them... We'll see tomorrow... 🎼 Today's was served The Eye Of The Tiger... Again and again and again... Because, you know, HST and stuff... Day 24 Defoliation and checking the HST recovery. Everything looked good... 🎼 Harry Belafonte and Ray Charles for the vibes. Day 25 Nothing was done but watering and greeting. 🎼Glenn Miller and the Andrews Sisters... I know they've already hear it, but it is what it is. Day 26 Had to HST a second girl. Two of them are growing too fast and getting too much high compared to the others. Don't they know I'm trying to get the canopy at same level. 🎼Rage Against The Machine. I wanted them to get hard. Day 27 HST worked as attended, but I had to readjust some branches and get rid of some nods that will not reach the canopy. 🎼Time to introduce them to Bob Marley. Hope that'll help them waiting to turn into bloom. Day 28 I've messed up during my training and snapped a main branch almost in half... I tried some emergency stuff with chassis cable ties... 🎼 Reggae... Still... Hope it'll help to heal...

Day 29 The intervention did the trick, the plant healed well, almost like nothing happened 🎼Time to get serious... Michael Jackson greatest hits. Day 30 I rearranged the pots to optimise the canopy and get rid of some leaves that was blocking light 🎼After the soundtrack of yesterday... I mean... really... what could I make them listen to other than Prince ? Day 31 Defoliation wasn't on the menu. Neither watering. Just greeting and music. 🎼Back to the classics... Marvin Gaye... Day 32 No watering today, but I took out some leaves 🎼Janis Joplin and The Doors... I don't know why but for me, those two work in pair... Day 33 Nothing but water and love. It seemed to me that they will soon enter into bloom 🎼Wake up from the Rage Against The Machine again and again Day 34 Yep... Blooming will definitely be on the menu very soon... Time to buy some Green Buzz stuff to accompany them into this phase 🎼Norah Jones... Because why not

Some problems occurred this week... First of all, way to much humidity in the tent (around 80%) and not enough temperature (around 14°) So I had to buy some devices. The first one was buy on Amazon, some Rubson stuff for about 30€ to put the humidity down and some Russian high tech warming panel that I found for 59€... This think was initially made for the international space station, so.... Let me say that it is very efficient... With 250W, it sure can... And within a couple of days, the conditions was perfect again. 🎼ONLY GIRLS! All week long... From Alanis Morissette to Janis Joplin, Aurora, Björk, Portishead... Girl power make good flower

Nothing interesting this week but watering. The russian stuff for the warming did a real good job and makes me feel like I'm an astronaut. 🎼 Norah Jones most part of the week as I planned to let them enter the flowering state as smoothly as possible.
