Day 10 So i did transplant, so i would have 3 plants one in each pot due to a suggestion i got from a kind user here on the site. For my beginner eyes the plants look kinda healthy so far, what do u think? i try to keep temperature at around 25 degrees and humidity on 60%, the water is between 6.0-6.5ph. Would u guys recommend to do topping on autoflowers? or is it more like the plants cant really recover in their short life span and will end up with less yield? i've heard like some people do say yes some say no And low stress training, at week 3 upwards and removing lower budsights at the end of vegetative phase beginning of flowering is a good thing to do aswell isnt it? I really want this to become 😍😍flower, happy for any suggestions u can give me

Im just wondering why one out of 3 plants, does not perfectly well while the others seem doing awesome. Can it really differ from a strain that it shows signs of light stress or nutrient burn while other plants seem to do well with it? I added 3 pics, 1st one showing the meh one

I see a few areas that could be improved upon. 1. I would get some pot risers and some trays. You don’t want the belly of the pot to sit flat without any airflow underneath. Especially when you get to a point where you’re getting runoff when you water your plants. It’s like sitting in a puddle of pee and your plants don’t want to stew in that. Also to keep that bottom of the tent clean. The further along you go the more mess will accumulate and have the potential to attract unwanted guests like bugs and breed mold or pathogens. I use Gro Pro NX pot risers. They can be found for around 5 bucks a piece. Any more than ten bucks, they’re ripping you off. 2. I see you have two plants in one pot. That’s a bad idea, even worse idea when they are two different strains. Each plant is its own being and require different treatment. So if you have one plant who’s a heavy feeder and one that requires less feed in the same pot then one plant will always have an issue. Or one likes a higher PH than an other, again one plant will always be unhappy. They also may not flower at the same time and require a different feeding than the other. Example, I wanted my current run to grow together. Both autos. One plant is nearly done flowering and my other plant is still in a vegetative state going on 10 weeks now. I couldn’t imagine the problems I would have if they were in the same pot. So I would pull one of the two in the same pot. Not worth the headache. 3. I wouldn’t do more than two plants in a 2x4 tent. Three is doable but you’ll soon realize that you’re going to run out of real estate pretty fast as they grow. They’re just going to end up fighting each other for space. Anyway those are some things I noticed right off the bat. Good luck with your first grow. It’s definitely a huge learning curve at the beginning.

@y11dos, yeah it seems to make sense to leave the water on so that it can drink it up but the light will mess the leaves up. I think with a powerful light you could even get some more distance between the plant and the light. I personally try to keep my lights 26 to 35 inches away from the plant and I just turn up the power a bit to supply the plant with the proper lighting. Yeah Dr Bugbee from Utah university is a mega source for information. I first stumbled upon him when I was learning about PAR/PPFD. But he talks about many topics when it comes to growing cannabis. Yeah when it comes to CO2, to really benefit from it you need a constant 1,200 PPM of CO2 to even see a noticeable difference. I wouldn’t bother with those CO2 bags you hang. I have the regulator and controller for CO2. I just need to source some bottles. So I’m not even running that yet. I would say hold off on that and gain some experience growing before messing with CO2. I mean you can get the bag and hang it but don’t treat the plant like you’re running CO2. The bag will only give so much and it won’t be enough to be able to push the limits of the light and the extra feed. Yeah I hear ya it’s definitely a fair bit of investment in the beginning. But you’re right initially invest and be set for the next two years. I’m Canadian I could not even bother with growing and just go to the store and pick some up. But like Ed Rosenthal says “marijuana isn’t addictive, however growing it is addictive. It’s just fun to grow, I enjoy it as frustrating it can be at times. It’s still fun to toke on your own cultivation. It makes me laugh when friends say oh you get free weed because you grow it. But yeah you’re on the right track to be making a fair bit. Man I still have some from my Christmas 2021 harvest. I wish you lots of luck man!!!

@Papa_T, Alright i started with some rly gentle LST today, about the topping i might wait until mid week 3 see which of the 3 plants has a huge different in size and just top the tallest one if there is one ^^ to hopefully get a more even height, since its different strains. Ty i was wondering if 60% at 35cm away was too much but that explains the slightly light spots on some of the leaves, ty. i make sure to not leave drops on the leaves, i thought its good for em :O kinda felt like, leaves under bright lamp= thirsty leave hahahah :'D ty for the advise Yeah i've really did a lot of research, i came across video's from Dr Bruce Bugbee and thats where i rly learned a lot about the plant and things like like light and the spectrum which plants need, about importance of ph and the ec in water and also came across increasing co2 in week 3upwards, but since i dont feel comfy with a co2 gas bottle in the house spreading low amounts into the tent xD i probably just hang in one co2 plantbag and see how the plants react to it, since im sure i can provide enough light for the plants so they could make use of the increase in co2. Yh you're right, i've also noticed some thinks u just gotta try and see if it works for yourself. With the setup yh haha it kinda got more than i thought it would be, but i thought like whether its me spending 800-1000€ per month on weed or i take 2000€ and buy everything i need, to provide myself with more weed than i could smoke (hopefully) :D and just safe that monthly expenses or atleast reduce them to costs for "electricity, soil, seeds, nutrients and maybe replace some old equipment in a year or two". Because even though i get weed really cheap whether its by a local plug or by the pharmastore since i have a doc which gives me weed on a private receipt so i can order it online its still a lot of money which i could just save up or spend on other things so yh ^^ thats how the lamp turned kinda bigger and the adlight bundle landed in my shopping cart Thanks for ur kind words mate, im also feeling quite confident that i'll be happy with the results

@y11dos, so your environment seems to be on point so there’s not much to worry about there. RH could also come up to 65% but 60 is ok too. When it comes to topping an autoflower many people have mixed reactions about that. I’m currently on my first run of autos and I topped them both. Sounds like you’ve done some homework on that topic. It really depends on how confident you are with doing it. There’s no right or wrong. But if you want to just do some LST and get a little experience before you start doing some more advanced techniques, that’s ok too. So in week two I’m noticing water droplets on your leaves. You don’t want to leave those on the leaf. The droplets act like magnifying glasses and the light will burn the leaves. So in the future just gently wipe away any drops or try to not hit the leaves when you water your girls. But yeah man you definitely sound like you’re doing a lot of research on your own and you have yourself a pretty killer set up for someone who’s starting out. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, no grow will ever be the same. Also you’re guaranteed to run into problems at some point that’s just a given. Not one grower out here has ever had 100% perfect runs. Problems will arise and it all depends on how you react to your situations. The questions section is a great tool to ask if you’re not sure about something. As for the fans for intake and exhaust, yeah you definitely can run both of them. I don’t have fans pushing air in myself, I just use the exhaust to vent out and the suction it creates brings fresh air in through the passive intake. Try different things and see how they work out for you, really a lot of it is trial and error and you’ll eventually find your style and what works for you. The best’s thing is to just enjoy yourself and not overthink or stress yourself out. Learn as you go and in time as you gain experience things will become easier. I myself are still learning on a daily basis and always striving to improve. No stress. No seeds. No sticks my friend. I’m fairly confident you’ll do well, you’ve already set yourself up for success with that set up.

@Fast_Buds Heey, ty a lot for ur comment , im rly happy with my plants like at the end of week 2 i started to just gently pushing the big leaves below the newly emerging onces and did tie the once which came first down by now. I had an accident with one of the branches like i cant see damage at all even after 5 days now but im sure i heard a loud painful cracking noise, first i thought i killed it 😭😅 but none of them feels loose or something, can i happen that the snapping is somehow only on the inside. Like i rly checked everysingle bit of the branch the snapping happened but it did take it like a champ for real. Cant wait for them to get rdy
