Great White - Plant Success (Plant Revolution)
Great White 0.13 mll
Day 1 - Stuft 1/2 gallon fabric nursery bags w/FFOF soil then lightly dusted the holes with some GW myco. Got 'em covered (ever so gently) with soil then covered them with humidity domes and put them in the nursery with some other babies. Day 2,3,4 - Just made sure they were kept moist but there's not much happening above ground. (*EDIT*) Day 5 - 2 popped AND 2 DIED (sad trombone...)so I transplanted them into 3-gallon pots and gave 'em some plain old RO. Day 6 - The soil looked a little dry on both of them. Watered the soil until it looked moist the whole way through. Day 7 - To be continued...

Day 8 - The soil looked a little dry on both of them. Watered the soil until it looked moist the whole way through. Day 9 - Gave them more RO H2O, PH'd down to 6.2 Day 10 - I transplanted them into 3-gallon pots and into the 4x2 VEG tent and gave 'em some plain old RO. Day 11 - Just monitoring the girls in the new environment for now gave them more RO H2O, PH'd down to 6.1 Day 12 - Gave them more RO H2O, PH'd down to 6.4 Day 13 - Still keeping a close eye on them. They looked a lil thirsty, gave them H2O PH'd down to 5.9 Day 14 - Gave them more RO H2O, PH'd down to 6.0 NOTE: The girls started losing their color within a couple of days after I transplanted them. I have been debating on whether or not the soil is fine without nutrients. I just amended the soil a week ago and when I tested the PH and PPM from runoff, the PH was fine at ~ 6.2 but the PPM is ~ 4K. That's A LOT higher than what I think is safe. Therefore, I'll hold off giving them nutrients for a few months but I made a small batch of top dressing (see below), which looks like the babies enjoy since the yellowing stopped. I think it happened due to a lack of Nitrogen in the soil so, I added the following as a top dressing to help with the deficiency. Ammended Top Dressing: - 2 cups of Sphagnum Moss - 1/4 cup of Worm Castings - 1/8 cup of Bio Charcoal - 3 tbsp of Blood Meal (12-0-0)

Day 15 - Gave the girls 500ml of plain RO at 6.3(ish) PH. Watered in a ring around 'em to encourage the roots to spread out. Day 16 - Didn't do anything today just monitoring grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD etc. Day 17 - Waterred 'em down again, 500ml plain RO at ~ 5.9 PH. Days 18 &19 - Nothing done, just monitoring the grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD, etc. Day 20 - Waterred 'em down with around 700ml plain RO at ~ 6.1 PH. Day 21 - Didn't do anything today just monitoring grow environment Temp, RH, Leaf Temp, VPD etc. Notes: I'm starting an Arduino project that automatically waters the plants based on the soil moisture and will calculate weekly water consumption. I already have one setup that does all of that and has a water level indicator that alerts me when the water level is low. I moved them over to the flowering tent a little early but I needed the space in the other tents. Other than that, nothing's changed much, just a little more water since they're bigger now but that's about it. I think I'll start feeding them this week but, till next time... that's all folks!

I started feeding the soil this week, I also gave the girls some beneficial nematodes like Steinernema carpocapsae and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora which should help naturally irradicate fungus gnats... 🤞I did a little defoliation but not much. However, I am surprised with the results from the nitrogen in the blood meal I blasted them with, helped with the Veg stage as much as it did! Till next time my gromies!

I didn't do anything special this week, I just gave the girls RO water and fed them twice as recommended. They are very different in height the omega has alpha beat by over a foot! even though I was hoping I wouldn't have to do any training on either of them, I'm glad that the alpha plant is the only one that needs it. I didn't do anything to the omega plant but still, both have freakin awesome genetics!

This week the alpha plant needed some training but boy did she stretch! I had to defoliate them both but a lot less on the omega plant she's been such a pleasure to watch grow because, up until now I haven't done anything but give her water sunlight and nutrients.

The girls look great! I am so proud of how far they've come despite the many obstacles that were in the way, the girls kept thriving and it's such a reward to see them now after all the time and energy I poured into them. I've been thinking about dialing back the nutrients this upcoming week since I prefer to start the flushing process earlier than later.

I am sad to report, this week was the last for the alpha plant... she had a great run and was a pleasure growing. I didn't even get a chance to weigh her wet but dry she came out to 59 grams dry. Next week, chop chop goes the omega.

I am so glad I gave the omega plant another week to continue growing. The alpha was great but the omega was further developed with the trichomes being more cloudy and almost amber. Whereas the alpha did have awesome trichrome development, they were not as cloudy.
