She has Literally Doubled in height this week and is branching out like a beast. I've started giving her some bloom nutrients as she hit flowering with every water cycle, which is every 3 days when the top soil drys up. She's building up on the amazing smell of flowers that bring back memories of my last grow and hit my up with nostalgia. Looks like the best part is just starting!
Gonna harvest in three day and I'm planning on washing my buds the Docbud way. I've never done this before so any info on this will be very helpful. My process is: wash, hang for 6 hours, trim and paper bag them for a week. Humidity is low at 20% and temp at 35C Peak. Thank you!
Well when bud washing you must consider a few things , the space in which they will dry afterwords and the amount of water they are going to hold for a few days because of this process . Firstly after you bud wash you wanna make sure that the area your going to dry them in has the lowest humidity you can get it to like 10 % if you can get it that low you also wanna make sure there is ample ventilation so that the air dont get stagnant . You wanna ensure the lowest humidity possible because for the first couple days after bud washing them they will be DAMP DAMP this will go away pretty fast but its important to be preventative of mould . Your going to need to hang them for far more then 6 hours to get the dampness out of the buds . Ive never used the product Docbud , I've always used distilled water . I hope this information helps shed some light on how to bud wash and what sort of preventative measures your should take to protect your hard work . -Happy Growing!
@PeachaPie, its weird to think that you would wash your buds haha but people do it especially in outdoor grows ! I dont think any special products are required so if you already bought that doc product then fine but just know that next time distilled water will provide the same results :) you essentially wanna fill up a pale then take your bud and vigorously shake it while its dunked under water for a few seconds then hang it to dry but like I said it better to be extra preventative then to lose everything :( When you finally light up that doobie let me know how she taste and smokes :D :D
Thanks for taking the time to respond , and your welcome the community is always here for you

@The_Projexx,
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question :) I'm quite skeptical about this but I know I have to find a way. There have been some dusty winds recently and its all over her. Hope this works. I cant wait to light up a doob of that bud! :D
@BensBuds, Yea I googled the hell out to find some substantial proof, but there is now much about the after drying info. Thought GD would be the best place as there are so many experienced growers here. Someone ought to have ran into the same issue. I saw the lemon water + baking soda thing! It must change the taste right?
