The growth has been vigorous. I have removed some of the lower leaves and nodes from the top. It seems the initial flowering was pushed back a bit and the girls went to veg a few more bud sites to grow.

@@Lowhelium, those are alfalfa. The seedlings secrete tricontanol, which is a plant growth stimulating phytohormone.
