flxxbrrn Got some freebie beans. I had to veg them discreetly under a 40 W CFL. Topped once. Added alfalfa seeds on top of soil. Managed to set up the tent with newly acquired HLG 135W (4000K) before flowering started. Gonna leave em in these very small pots; they are the cutest little powerhouses.

flxxbrrn Flowering started (Cream Cookies at day 34, Dedoverde Haze Auto at day 37). Lots of new growth. Did some defoliation. Haven't topped them more than once (at week 2). I keep the CFL off 'cause of temp issues; the HLG135 seems to be enough for now. Started bloom regimen w/ Big Bud.

flxxbrrn The growth has been vigorous. I have removed some of the lower leaves and nodes from the top. It seems the initial flowering was pushed back a bit and the girls went to veg a few more bud sites to grow.

flxxbrrn The buds are beginning to fill in and there's a bit of stretching going on. Shortened the light schedule to 19/5. More defoliation was done and they seem to be taking it well. A slight iron deficiency was observed, so started giving more Cal-Mag and plain H2O in every other watering. A hazy smell lingers around when opening the tent.

@@Lowhelium, those are alfalfa. The seedlings secrete tricontanol, which is a plant growth stimulating phytohormone.
