Hello. This is the end of veg and the first week of flowering.
Everyone is nice and green and doing well. With 12 plants, in 2 tents, I have 2 dehumidifiers going in that bedroom, to keep the rh where I want it.
I've got them outside the tent and am dumping them twice a day. The extractor fan just pulls into the tent the non-humid air, and blow the humid air over the dehumidifiers.
I've taken clippings from these plants. I've been trying a different/easier way to make my clones over the last few years. Time to tell you about it.
I take more clippings than I think I need, some will die off but most will grow roots and be ready in a 2 - 3 weeks to be put in soil.
I start with 1 gallon of filtered water...
I filter the water to hopefully get rid of the Pythium Root Rot Fungus and add a few drops of 30% Hydrogen Peroxide to clean more, and add some oxygen the little clippings like.
I add some cinnamon, it's anti-fungal and has similar property's to cloning gel to help with forming roots.
I add 10 ml of seaweed per gallon for food, the little clippings need some food to make new roots. Seaweed is also great for stress relief for seedlings and clones too.
I check the ph and adjust it. And refill the cups when needed with ph adjusted (around 6 ph) filtered water.
I put the bubbler in the each cup every 2 days for more than 30 seconds per cup to stir the water and add oxygen too. So leave some room on one side of the cup.
They are ready for soil when I see the smallest rootlets sticking out of the submerged stock. They can go into soil with hardly any wilting. I can get 90% or better this way
It takes 2 to 3 weeks but this way is much easier than putting the clippings in peat pellets and soil and putting them under the plastic domes and spraying them 2ce a day for weeks.
Got a new comic book to take us to harvest. It's Weirdo #6, Less sex and violence than Zap comic books so I shouldn't get any complaints.
Yes, some of the comics are a little weird but that's right in the name.
Ok. Have Fun Out There.
Chuck.
@Chuckwaggon420, There are web sites for used stuff in your city. Mine is called usedvictoria.ca
The person I got it off had been sponsored and had 2 grows with it. I got a good price on a almost new light.
When I got it, it hadn't been released to the public yet. I can dim it down to 20% for seedlings.

@Chuckwaggon420, Hi Buddy.
I start with filtered water. If the filter can take out things like lead and mercury then it will take out some fungus spores.
I think the biggest problem for the seeds is the Pythium Root Rot fungus. The spores are everywhere and chlorine doesn't kill them, so filter them out.
I add the HP for extra oxygen to help and it cleans the water too. It also helps to break down the membrane so the seeds will slip right out of their shells.
I add a pinch of cinnamon because it's anti-fungal to start with and it has the same properties as cloning gel.
If the seeds are older I will add some cloning gel to the water for a little extra umph for the seeds.
I've had pretty good sucuess with older seeds with this method.
Best wishes.
Chuck.
