Grow in a Lechuza Cube Pot with approx 20l Lechuza pon and 7.5l water tank Will feed with water and nutes from the top until roots can suck water Hope to have grow with minimum effort. Aim ist to try different strains. Not looking for maximum harvest. Special Queen from RQS did not germinate. Added now a Purple Queen Auto from RQS as back up. Waiting for germination. Purple Queen Auto germinated in the meantime. Added a RQS Hulkberry Auto now. Slightla behind, but with the auto genetics I hope it will catch up.

Ladies are growing, only one Dance World and the Purple Queen are a little behind. No signs that the Special Queen Fem and the Hulkberry Auto will germinate. Still, three different strains to test.. I added three photos showing how I apply water on the plants from the top, acid for pH regulation, pH test stripes and the type of fertilizer I am using. I am not measuring ph in the tank or EC value. Want to keep things very simple and I hope it will work out and results will still be fine.. I have the amount of Compo Complete to be used from a grower discussion platform. Also compared with instructions from Compo and the amount seems reasonable. A guy mentioned he did severals grows with this dosing already and never had any issues..

The plants are using now almost full space of the Lechuza pot already! The leaves are partly dark green. Maybe it's a little bit too much nitrogen for the small plants. I will soon put them into flowering.. Update 07.09.: Plants are healthy. Most plants are 15cm in height. Two Dance World are growing higher and bigger then the rest. Manipulated them with LST. Reduces height and I will also benefit from a wider canopy. The Purple Queen will also have more space. I have put them now int flowering short before end of week three. Still feeding with 0,5l water (pH 6.5) per day. Amount of Compo Complete ist still 2ml/l.

Five days since switch to 12/12. Still feeding 0,5l with 2ml/l Compo Complete per day. Did LST on the two big Dance World to keep an even canopy. Also did topping on the Purple Queen as distance from node to node is quite large compared to the other Ladies. Hope this slows down growth in height and does not harm the Automatic at this point. The Northern Lights are both dark green an very bushy and healthy. Update end of week 4: The tent ist full now. Added a SCROG net 20cm above the Lechuza pon and will bend the plants to have a good even canopy. No signs of preflowering on the ladies so far.

It's end of week 5. The plants are healthy and looking good despite I removed many leaves in the meantime and I am bending them to where I need the future buds to be. No changes in the feeding (ph and nutes). Still feeding from the top.

I removed a lot of leaves as humidity is very high during night time (no light). Better lower harvest than none due to mold. The Purple Queen and Northern Lights are starting flowering. The Dance World are not switching to flowering so quickly.. They are minimum a week behind. From other reports I expect them to take minimum four additional weeks compared to the other strains. Stil feeding with 2ml/ Compo Complete. All looking good so far. I hope the plants will recover from massive cutting of leaves.

07.10. All plants looking good. I am Happy.. Reduced feeding from top to every second day. Plants take it well. No hanging leaves, etc. Will reduce further to three days from now on to see if they suck sufficient water from the tank. Did some main-lining in the Purple Queen. One big stem did not make it. I over did training as it seems.. However, SCROG worked out well. Almost the entire tent ist full with future buds and the canopy ist almost even despite it is three different strains - Indica, Sativa and Hybrid. Will give an update regarding the water feeding in the next days. I will not change the amount of fertilizer as the plants seem to grow well and be healthy. As assummed the Purple Queen I planted as back up a week later did now fully catch up and is now one of the first ones.. Update 10.10. Removed the water level indicator today as it did not move at all for some days. Noticed that it was blocked by some very long roots and the tank was empty! Now I can be sure the plants reached the bottom and the big water reservoir. Most likely they already did some time ago. I did not know how to check. Now I have proof! Filled the tank now with almost 8l water with 2ml/l fertilizer. The grow will become very relaxing now!! Just have to fill up water with nutes once the level indicator shows me the tank ist almost empty. That's what i was looking for! Especially with the Sativa dominant Dance World that will need time until harvest..

14.10. All going well! Plants are all dark green and healthy. All plants are in flowering now. Dance World 2 is stretching more then the other two DW. Dance World 3 remains a smaller plant. Northern Lights and Purple Queen are doing well. The water tank is still half full after three days. It may be sufficient for up to six days.. Will update once I know. Now no training anymore, just light and ph regulated water (ph 6.5) with fertilizer(2ml/l of water). The box ist starting to smell good when opening ;-) Nice! Update 19.10. Watered the plants right after I noticed issues with leaves with 1 liter water (pH 6.0, 2ml/l) from the top and also filled tank with same water. No further leaves are getting brown tips. I think fast change to NOT feeding from top was an issue and possibly also a lower pH was good. No sings of any missing nutrients or problems. The ladies keep building buds.. ;-) Removed some more leaves that prevented light to go some to lower buds and to lower the risk of mold and issues with humidity. Maybe I am little bit too careful but on the other hand if buds have mold I did not win anything..

Any ideas what the issue is? Have the issue on one Northern light and on one Dance World. The leaves are getting partly light green and have some brown spots. See Last two photos I added.

It's good to remember that plants look paler under grow lights than they are in reality. However, if it's trending in that direction, it still means you should react to it and adjust your fertilization formula accordingly. You might be locking things out with too much P. This would cause chlorosis in new growth and interfere with K which causes the damage around the serated tips. Even though you have reduced fertilization lately, your ferts look like the type that slow-release due to need for microbes to break them down... so even though you reduced what you are adding to the soil, there's a buildup prior of 'inventory' for microbes to work on and continue to provide plant-available nutes around the roots. with soil and your fertilization methods, it'll take some guessing and trial and error. E.g. this time i'd take note of when you started to reduce and maybe do that 1 week sooner. or take 10% off what you fed each cweek prior etc... some sort of adjustment that adds up to a bit less concentration in the substrate by this point in the grow. in the end there is not enough infor to be confident. diagnosing from leaf symptoms alone is not 100% accurate. Symptoms are not discrete. pH and nute lockout are always possible too. the reason i didn't go with K-deficiency is that there is little to no interveinal chlorosis of mid and lower leaves. High P can cause issues with Ca too, which is potentially one of the symptoms seen too.

Reduced pH of water from 6.5 to 6.0 due to some brown spots on the leaves. All plants look good again. I hope that was the issue. Still watering all the plants with one liter pH regulated water with fertilizer from the top every few days. The plants can take the water they need in addition from the tank.

Nice smell is coming to my nose when opening the tent! Dance World 1 and Northern Lights 1 have again some brown leave tips. For some reason just these two plants.. All other plants are looking totally fine. Thanks to the comments on my question raised I know now that this may be a lock out of nutes and pH issue and changing pH value after time. Checking the prepared feeding solution I noticed that the pH rises already after several days from 6.0 to almost 7.0. Will try to keep pH at 6.0 to keep the ladies happy..

Todays the 4th of November Start of week 11! Weeks 6 of flowering for the two Northern Lights and the Purple Queen. The more Sativa dominant Dance World we're actually a little bit later, especially the Dance World number three. Everything is continuing to go well! The brown leaves tips are not getting any bigger. Seems the issues is solved with ph 6.0 feeding. Frankly speaking I am happy that this grow is going so smooth so far! The pon and the water tank make a huge difference. Like with the plants in our home the Lechuza system helps the plants are growing, to be dark green and healthy. With low effort and no green thumb ;-) Better than expected! Apart from that there is not much to report and to take care of. With happy ladies I will not doing any changes on water, pH and fertilizer. Update 5th of November: Added some detailed fotos of a larger bud of each plant I just took. Guess the plants are overall not this ripe so far. It's always fotos from the top. I did not check the lower buds jet. The Purple Queen and the two Northern Lights have probably only a few more weeks to go! ;-) The smell ist getting very strong now..

Would you stop feeding the plants with fertilizer at this point already? I think it will be fine for the Northern Lights and the Purple Queen but may be a little early for the Dance World. Little disadvantage with one common pot that I can only treat all plants the same way..

I would keep them helathy as always. React to symptoms and don't overfeed/underfeed. if your formula or fertilization process does not result in consistent results across numerous strains, then there's probably something off with the formula and less to do with 'picky' plants. I regular run 7-8 strains pulling off the same reservoir, which in a soilless context is not unlike sharing the same pot. A proper formula works well on 90-95% of all plants. Soil being a bit trickery but can get to the same place because it's just about ratios of available nutes and their overall concentration... similar contexts will have similar results, because this is a deterministic reality. Outdoors in the ground, they all share the same resoucres. No reason why it can't work the same in a pot too. Also, you don't see people leach out all nutrients from the earth around a pot plant outside right? No, because that would be an absurd thing to do.

11th of November: Beginning of week 12 Ladies are flowering and smelling ;-) No water from top since many weeks, all water is sucked from the tank Approx 7 liters filled in the tank every 6 to 7 days pH 6.0 20°C 2ml/l fertilizer The buds are coming too close to the walls of the tent. I am using things on each side to keep distance from the plants to the walls of the tent.. Nothing else to do at this point! The Dance World 1 started flowering at first. It seems it's almost ready. The two other Dance World are far away from being finished. Being a sativa strain this is quite surprising and would be a very fast finish. I will have a close look on her. Also will check the buds of two Northern Lights and the Purple Queen. The buds still need to get bigger but I am coming closer..

Everything going well.. Some plants start to get yellow leaves.. The Dance World 2 is getting too big. I removed the scrog net earlier and in this plant the buds are too heavy already. Supported the branches properly to make sure they don't break. Also made sure there is space between the branches for air circulation to prevent mold. Was afraid there could be any damage.. This plant ist sticky as hell. Had to use gloves and they we're covered with resin after i had fixed all branches. :-) Nice! Checked the trichomes of NL 1, NL 2, PQ and DW 1 yesterday. So far all trichomes are white/cloudy. I will start to check regularly now every couple of days. Feeding with 7 liters water pH 6.0 2ml/l fertilizer Nothing changed Filling up the tank every six days roughly, whenever i have time

Can't wait for the Ladies to get ready! The smell is awesome.. So far there are no amber trichome, unfortunately! Feeding with 6 liters of pH 6.0 water with 2.0m/l fertilizer every five days. That's all I am doing and mostly WAITING for them to be ready to be chopped! I guess patience ist key now :-)

No amber trichomes yet! ;-( Some trichomes are turning purple. Almost all cloudy on the NL. PQ and DW are clear/cloudy. No changes on feeding, humidity, .. The ladies seem to need lower amount of water. For the minimum effort the buds get quit big, at least for me.. Looks great with all the colours and there is a nice and strong smell coming out of the tent ;-)

Update with some detailed fotos again, like every Monday.. Cannot wait to harvest ;-) On the India dominant strains (Norhtern Lights and Purple Queen) are still clear trichomes amd amber is just starting here and there. Light browning I am thinking.. The Sativa dominant Dance World plants are not ready yet. Also not the fastest purple pheno. Overall too early for harvest I think. Fotos of trichomes are not from the very top, more the center of the buds. I want to start taking samples with 10% amber, then with approx 25% and roughly 40% amber to get a feeling for the readiness based on a recommendation from a grower here in the webpage. Let me know your thoughts on the comments regarding harvest! I am looking forward for your input as I am not too experienced..
