LockDownGrow Ok so far I've done absolutely bugger all , Popped seed into a peat pod in a cup of terra canna professional pro soil with perlite , went on holiday over Christmas for 5 days came home too seedlings that where about 3 inches above the peat pod , I then transferred them into 10 gallon fabric smart pots , in an 80cm X 80cm tent under a kingbo dual lense optical LED one is there 900watt but doesn't draw more than 400watts from the wall so let's call it a 400watt and there 600watt light that draws 200watts , I cannot recommend these lights enough and they really do give fantastic results for the budget price , The first week I just wet the soil with non pH water once then didn't even look until week 2 , then week two I added house and garden A & B soil feed at qaurter the strengh recommend by them for the first week of veg , and they seemed too respond well but slow devolpment as you would expect for a 2 week old seedling , on week 3 I have added alittle more feed too half the recommended amount from house and garden and I will now be staying at half strengh , my temps have been at 22c lights off and 24c lights on , I am growing on a 20/4 cycle , week 3 they have got into the full swing of veg growing at least one or two nodes / set of leaves every 24 hours , the nodes are very tight together leaving no room too try and lst the tops down so I won't be doing that this time , I have been feeding every 3 too 4 days so far and with abit of luck that will stay that way for abit , as the least I need too un zip the tent the better for me lol , I have never really worried about pH and maybe that will be my down fall , but maybe not , I have just got some pH test strips so will test my feed bucket and the run off from the pots and then decide if I need too get some pH up and down , but hopefully not as I like it as simple and as little effort as possible ,if I can just open the tent once or twice a week that's enough for me , I focus on the amount of nutes and temp and let them do there thing as much as possible , this blackberry ether did not take well too being moved into the 10 gallon pot as well as the others and has stayed a very light green almost yellow until this week and is not getting some colour back and growing new leaves every few days now I will keep updating this post as I go along with any issues or just too say how fantastic they are doing , Thanks for reading ;)

No reason you need to feed a seedling in soil anything , and no reason to feed veg nutes to an auto in soil at all. In the future to gage how well you're doing you absolutely need to get an EC/ppm meter to measure your input and run off , only then will you be able to tell where you're at . I see you're not measuring pH either , looks like pH fluctuations caused some burn. Now seems like the issue has receded but you want to measure incoming pH for sure . Ex meter and pH strips my friend, they are a must for the master grower ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

LockDownGrow Although the yellow appearance this lady has still been growing at the same rate as the rest and shooting out the side branches nicley , she is a week behind the rest due too the first seed not germinating but week by week progress has been the same as the others

LockDownGrow Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

LockDownGrow ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

LockDownGrow Have really started too uptake feed now and she is taking the same as the plants that are 1 week older on nutrients but drinking twice as much needing too be watered more often , also she has started too droop her leaves towards the end of the light cycle , but I've read alot have been have this , so maybe the blackberry would benefit for a 20 hour light cycle , bit the others are loving the light , she has also already developed the lovely purple colours all over her , and it's a sight too see that's for sure well what can i say about this little lady but wow . her bud production is super fast and she certainly likes too stretch up , she is drinking the same feed as the ones that are a week older and drinking twice as much as the rest too , she loves her food thats for sure , her colour is stunning and i could sit there all day looking as her beautiful buds , this is the most stunning plant ive seen i can not wait too try this lady , so far apart from the yellowing during veg that ive thankfully got on top of using cal mag at full strength ive had absolutely no other issues at all and as you can see she is no a lush green and loving life , i have added a very low dose of top shooter today and will increase that slowly over the next two weeks too no more than half the recommended dose ,

LockDownGrow Well this little girl is forming very much like kush buds would , very dense and thick bud with very few white pistel hairs , A very attractive bud too watch form , she is packing on bud like there is no tomorrow as you can see from the pics and drinking the pot dry every 3 days of 8 pints , the colour from this plant is truly a sight indeed and the smell she is giving off is like a mouthful of blackberry jelly and icecream back when you was a kid , i am very excited about this one and cannot wait too try her ,

LockDownGrow Last week of feed for this lady :) Update end of week nine , Well the bud production this week has been absolutely crazy , She has now slowed right down on her feeding too , so the flush begins , she still needs too cloud up and go amber but she will have enough nutrients in her and the soil too last her until she ripens , she really has been a joy too watch grow and develop , I would not think twice about growing this strain ,

LockDownGrow This girl has exploded this week new buds whizzing off in all directions , She has just started too go cloudy but no amber as of yet , so I would say I started too flush way too early as she has now been having nothing more than water for the last two weeks but it doesn't seem too have stopped her in anyway but who knows she may have produced more bud ? But I am very happy with what she has and you would be happy for this result from a photoperiod plant , she has developed what looks like corn shooting out of every bud in all directions , looks mad I've just read it's called foxtailing and it's genetic on purple strains not light or heat stress , Looks amazing Update , Really starting too show the early flush now week 3 of nothing but clean water , she is now in full swing of eating her leaves all cloudy and about 4% amber , so it seems another week for this girl and I clearly started to flush a week early , but doesn't seem too have slowed her down

I have austium so will do my best too write this the best I can , So one of the smaller lower down branches has dried me a small sample of this , It's completely different too the gsc , Cali snow ect it's a real hit you in the chest and body hit makes you brain think fucking doing that my legs don't work lol it really does smell and taste like Berrys , the hit in the chest and body for me was instant and then very soon after there comes an energetic head high that is very relaxing and anxiety surprising , this is absolutely an evening smoke as you won't want too do much else after this , I gave a sample of this too a massive hydroponics store and they said it's one of the nicest and most flavoursome bud they have ever tried so can't get much better than that , I would highly recommend anyone put this strain in there grow space , and is one of my go too strains for the evening ,

LockDownGrow This is an incredible strain , I would be very upset if the bag became empty , This was an incredible plant , If this plant didn't win a place nothing I could ever grow would ever win , it honestly was a sin too cut her down
