My First Steps into Growing: A Beginner's Journey As I embarked on the adventure of growing my first plants, I felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. The thought of nurturing life from seed to harvest was exhilarating, but I couldn’t ignore the fact that I had zero experience. To guide me through the initial stages, I turned to a resource that seemed both trustworthy and approachable: the YouTube channel Home Grow TV. The first critical step in the process was germination. This is where everything begins—the moment when potential is unlocked, and a seed starts its journey to becoming a plant. Knowing how vital this stage is, I decided to follow the instructions as closely as possible. For my first grow, I chose to cultivate three Amnesia Zkittlez plants and one Gorilla Cookies plant, all from Fast Buds. The seeds, small and full of potential, needed careful handling to ensure successful germination. As advised, I began by soaking the seeds in a glass of water for 18 to 24 hours. This initial soak was meant to kickstart the germination process by softening the seed shell, making it easier for the taproot to emerge. Mindful of the recommendations from various growers, I wore gloves throughout the process. This was something I noticed several experienced cultivators recommended to avoid contaminating the seeds with oils or bacteria from my hands. After soaking, I moved on to the next step: the cotton pad method. I prepared two cotton pads, lightly spraying each with a maximum of three mists from a spray bottle to ensure they were damp but not overly wet. Following the guidance I’d gathered, I carefully placed the Fast Buds seeds on one pad, leaving enough space between them. Once positioned, I covered the seeds with the second pad, effectively sandwiching them between the two layers of moist cotton. To create the ideal environment for germination, I placed the cotton pad sandwich inside a Ziplock bag. Here’s where the process required a bit of nuance: the bag needed to be no more than 75% closed. This allowed for slight air exchange, which is crucial for the seeds to breathe. Before sealing the bag, I gave it two final sprays of water, ensuring the interior stayed humid without becoming waterlogged. With everything set up, I placed the bag in a warm, dark location, eager to see the results. The instructions suggested that I could expect to see the first signs of life within a few days, but the anticipation made those hours feel much longer. Despite my lack of experience, I felt a growing connection to these tiny seeds. They represented a new beginning, not just for them, but for me as well. This was the start of a journey filled with learning, patience, and, hopefully, a rewarding harvest. Conclusion: The Beginning of a Green Journey As I waited for those first tiny roots to emerge, I realized that this journey was just beginning. Every step, every new leaf, would bring its own challenges and rewards. The thrill of seeing these seeds sprout would soon give way to the excitement of watching them grow, week by week, into robust plants. This first chapter in my grow diary has been a lesson in patience and preparation, but the real adventure is only just beginning. I’m eager to share each phase of this process, from seedling to harvest, and all the highs and lows in between. Stay tuned as we move from these early stages into the critical weeks ahead, where the real work—and the real growth—begins. The journey of these Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies plants is just starting, and I invite you to follow along as we see what kind of green wonders we can cultivate together. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: [Date: 30.08.2024] Quick update: After 24 hours in the cotton pads, all the seeds successfully germinated! The roots were still quite short, so I decided to give them another 24 hours. After a total of 48 hours in the pads, kept in complete darkness, the roots really took off, growing to an impressive 2-3 centimeters. Once they reached that length, I carefully planted the seeds in their respective pots. I made sure to wear gloves again, as recommended by many growers, to avoid any contamination. I took extra care to create shallow holes, ensuring the seeds weren’t planted too deep. I then loosely covered them with the surrounding soil, making sure not to pack it down too tightly, so the seedlings wouldn’t be hindered in their growth. After all the seeds were in place, I lightly misted the soil directly around the seeds using a pump spray bottle, making sure to avoid overwatering while keeping the area gently moist. Next, I set up the CLOUDFORGE T3 from AC Infinity, a humidifier system that I placed directly inside the grow tent. This system will help maintain the ideal environment for the young plants. As a complete beginner, I decided to use the automated settings provided by the AC Infinity app, which made things much easier. The only adjustments I made were to reduce the exhaust and circulation fans, since they don’t provide much benefit at this early stage and could lower the humidity too much. Currently, the planted seeds are kept at a temperature of around 24°C (+/- 1°C) with a humidity level of approximately 80%. They are under a light schedule of 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, giving them the perfect conditions to continue growing strong. I’ve heard from various other growers that autoflowers can also thrive under a full 24 hours of light during the early stages, or even a 20/4 light schedule. However, I’m still a bit unsure and have decided to stick with the settings provided by AC Infinity for now. Now, it's just a matter of time before the first signs of these plants breaking through the soil. I’m looking forward to seeing how they progress in the coming days!

End of Week 1 (Friday) It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for another update! The first week after planting the seeds is officially over, and I’m excited to share how things have progressed so far. This is my first time growing, and everything I’ve learned has come from watching videos, reading articles, and absorbing the experiences of other growers. While I’m completely new to this, I’ve found immense joy and motivation in the process. I’m soaking up all the knowledge and information I can like a sponge, aiming for the best possible results. Honestly, if I can do this, anyone can! I’ve never really had much of a green thumb when it comes to plants, but this experience has shown me that with enough passion and patience, it’s possible to achieve great things. -------------------------------------- Seedlings Emerging After 48 Hours The seeds were planted exactly one week ago, and after about 48 hours in the soil, the first signs of life appeared. It was thrilling to see those small green sprouts break through the surface. Each of the three Amnesia Zkittlez and the single Gorilla Cookies plant emerged healthy and strong. -------------------------------------- Environmental Conditions I’ve been closely monitoring the environment to give the seedlings the best possible start: Temperature: Stable at 26°C throughout the week. Humidity: Consistently maintained at 80%. Light Schedule: The plants are still under 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness each day. VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit): I’ve kept the VPD between 0.67 and 0.47, ensuring the plants are transpiring properly without losing too much moisture too quickly. -------------------------------------- Watering Routine When it comes to watering, I’ve been very precise. Each plant has been watered with 0.05 liters of water every 24 hours, measured carefully to avoid overwatering. The water was applied in a small circle around each plant, targeting the root zone while ensuring the surrounding soil remained lightly moist. In addition, I’ve used the pump spray bottle to lightly mist the rest of the soil in each pot. It’s important to note that I’ve been consistent in treating all four plants the same way, using exactly 0.05 liters of water for each. This controlled approach seems to be working well for these young seedlings. -------------------------------------- Documenting Growth I’ve been documenting the plants’ progress with daily photos for my own reference, but for the sake of clarity and keeping the diary easy to follow, I’ve chosen to share images from Day 3 and Day 7 of their growth. These photos are now uploaded, and you can clearly see how much the plants have developed in just a few days. The difference between Day 3 and Day 7 is already noticeable, with the seedlings showing their first true leaves and appearing stronger overall. -------------------------------------- Key Takeaways as a Beginner As a first-time grower, the most important thing I’ve learned so far is that patience and consistency are key. I’m still relying on the automated settings of the AC Infinity app to control my environment, with only minor adjustments to reduce airflow and preserve humidity. While there are more advanced strategies out there, sticking to the basics has been working well for me. It’s really encouraging to see that with the right research and dedication, even a complete beginner can make solid progress. This grow diary is proof that anyone can achieve the same results with a little patience and passion. Looking Ahead With the first week behind me, I’m eager to see how the seedlings develop in the coming days. They’ve already shown signs of strong growth, and I’ll continue fine-tuning the environment as needed. I can’t wait to see how they progress next week, when the real first leaves start coming in. -------------------------------------- Reflections and Future Plans One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey has been how much I’ve learned in such a short time. Every day, there’s something new to discover, whether it’s how the plants respond to changes in their environment or how small adjustments can make a big difference in growth. Watching these tiny seedlings transform has been a humbling experience, and it’s given me even more motivation to keep improving. Looking ahead, I’ve decided to take a slightly unconventional approach by seeing how the plants develop without any additional nutrients or fertilizers. I’m curious to see how far the plants can thrive just by providing them with a stable environment, plenty of light, and water. It’s a bit of an experiment, but I’m excited to learn from the natural process and observe how well they adapt to this approach. As the plants continue to grow, I’ll be paying close attention to how they respond, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the results in the coming weeks. -------------------------------------- Let’s Grow Together Since this is my first time growing, I’m always open to learning from others. If anyone has tips, advice, or even questions, feel free to drop a comment or share your own experiences. Growing is a journey, and it’s always more fun when we can learn together! -------------------------------------- What’s Coming Next? As we move into Week 2, I’ll be keeping a close eye on how the plants continue to develop—especially their growth patterns and overall health. With every day, the excitement builds as we wait to see the first signs of their unique characteristics shining through. Exciting times ahead, so stay tuned for more updates.

Week 2 – Rapid Growth and Key Adjustments Another Friday, another update! It’s been an exciting week in the grow tent, and the plants are showing some serious progress. They've nearly doubled in height and are now spreading out to fill the pots, making it clear that these FastBuds seeds really live up to their name. After seeing how quickly they’ve grown, it’s easy to understand where the "fast" comes from! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 70% -VPD: Max 1.0 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 18 hours light / 6 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) -Watering Schedule: -Day 8: 100ml -Day 10: 300ml -Day 12: 500ml ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adjusting the Light Distance Early in the week, I noticed two of the leaves were showing slight stress due to being too close to the light. The leaves were slightly deformed, and it was clear they weren’t happy with the intense light exposure. After adjusting the light distance to a safer height, the plants began to recover. However, while the stressed leaves improved gradually throughout the week, they’ve retained some of those early deformations. Thankfully, every leaf that grew after that has been perfectly healthy and vibrant, which confirmed that the issue was indeed the light being too close. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Observing the Rapid Growth The early days were exciting as the plants seemed to grow rapidly, but at first, they felt fragile, with their thin, delicate stems struggling to hold up the weight of the new leaves. It almost seemed like they might topple over at any moment. However, by the end of Week 2, they’ve transformed into sturdy, small trees. Their once fragile stems are now solid little trunks, and it’s amazing to see how much stronger they appear. Not only have the stems thickened, but the plants have also developed an abundance of leaves. In just a few days, they’ve gone from having four small leaves to over ten broad, healthy leaves per plant. It's incredible to witness how quickly they’re packing on foliage. Every day, it seems like there’s something new happening – more leaves, more structure, and a visibly stronger plant. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- No Noticeable Difference Between Strains (Yet!) Interestingly, as of now, I can’t see any major differences between the three Amnesia Zkittlez and the single Gorilla Cookies plant. As a beginner, they’re growing at a similar rate and look so alike that if I hadn’t labeled them, I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart! Luckily, everything is organized and clearly marked, so when the differences do start to show, I’ll be ready to observe them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watering Progress By Day 10, the plants were continuing to thrive, so I increased the water intake to 300ml per plant. The plants adapted well, showing no signs of overwatering or nutrient deficiency. Two days later, on Day 12, I upped the watering amount again to 500ml per plant. Even with this larger amount of water, the plants have been absorbing it perfectly. There’s been no excess water draining from the pots, which is a great sign. The soil remains slightly moist underneath, indicating that the roots are successfully drawing water from deeper layers. Now, on Friday evening, it’s been 48 hours since the last watering, and the soil is still holding moisture. It looks like I can wait until tomorrow (Day 15) to water again. The soil is still slightly moist at the bottom of the pots, showing that the roots are reaching deep enough to access the water. The plants themselves look strong and healthy, so everything seems to be on track! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PH Levels and Future Fertilization Until now, I’ve been relying on the pH readings from our local water provider, trusting their reports to guide me. However, to ensure I have more precise control over the growing conditions, I’ve invested in a BlueLab pH pen. This will allow me to accurately measure the pH of the water myself and make sure everything is perfectly dialed in for the plants. Even though I initially planned not to use any fertilizers, I’ve decided to start using nutrients next week. I’ll be following the Biobizz feeding schedule, incorporating BioGrow, BioBloom, and TopMax into my routine. This decision came after observing how fast the plants are growing and realizing that they could benefit from a nutrient boost to ensure continued healthy development. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optimizing With AC Infinity and Looking Ahead Throughout the week, I’ve been relying heavily on the automated settings from the AC Infinity App, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me who’s still learning the ropes. Other than reducing the air intake and airflow to keep the humidity high at this early stage, I haven’t had to manually adjust much. The system has been doing a great job maintaining the environment, with 70% humidity, a VPD under 1.0, and consistent temperatures between 25-26°C during the day and 22°C at night. There’s still a lot to learn, and I’ve heard from other growers that AutoFlowers can handle 24 hours of light or even 20/4, but for now, I’m sticking with the more traditional 18/6 light schedule recommended by AC Infinity. I’ll keep observing and might experiment with different light cycles in the future. As I move forward into Week 3, I’m eager to see how the plants will continue to grow and evolve. With each passing day, I’m learning more about their needs and how to fine-tune the environment to keep them happy. So far, they’ve been thriving, and I can’t wait to see what’s next on this journey. FastBuds certainly lives up to the name, and if the first two weeks are any indicator, I’m in for an exciting ride! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections Looking back, I’m honestly surprised at how quickly I’ve become immersed in this process. What started as a curiosity has quickly turned into a rewarding experience. Every day I learn something new, whether it’s adjusting light distances, managing water intake, or monitoring humidity levels. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing the results of your efforts in real time – from those first fragile sprouts to the sturdy plants I have now. As a complete beginner, I was unsure how well I’d manage everything, but seeing the plants thrive has given me a lot of confidence. I realize that growing is just as much about patience as it is about action. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead, but I’m already enjoying the journey. For anyone starting out, it’s all about learning and adapting – and, most importantly, enjoying the process!

Week 3 - It’s Friday again, and that means a new update! Today’s update comes a little earlier, at least in terms of time. It’s been an exciting and eventful week in the grow tent, with a lot of progress and key changes taking place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 60%, reduced to 50-55% today -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 14: 600ml -Day 16: 600ml -Day 18: 700ml (with full BioBizz nutrient dosage) -Day 21: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Started at 60 cm distance, intensity level 6 -Increased to 75 cm distance, reduced intensity to encourage stretching -After pre-flowering began, gradually reduced distance and increased intensity: -70 cm distance, intensity level 7 -65 cm distance, intensity level 8 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watering and Nutrient Adjustments On Day 14, I increased the watering amount to 600ml per plant, marking the beginning of more intensive care. Alongside this, I started regulating the water’s pH to 6.5 to ensure the plants were receiving the best conditions for growth. At this stage, I also introduced nutrients into the watering routine, but I began cautiously, using only half of the recommended dosage of BioBizz nutrients to see how the plants would react. By Day 16, the plants received another 600ml of water, and since they responded well to the first dose of nutrients, I increased the nutrient concentration to 3/4 of the recommended dose. The plants continued to thrive with no signs of stress, and they appeared to be absorbing both water and nutrients efficiently. On Day 18, I increased the watering amount again, this time to 700ml per plant, while applying the full BioBizz nutrient dosage for the first time. The plants showed no adverse reactions, and the soil remained moist even 48 hours after watering, indicating the plants were getting sufficient hydration without any issues. As we progressed through the week, I established a pattern of watering the plants 2-3 times per week, depending on how quickly the soil dried out. I’ve continued to use the full nutrient dosage with every watering, as the plants are now in a more advanced stage of growth and require more resources to support their development. On Day 21, after closely monitoring the moisture levels, I decided to increase the water amount to 1 liter per plant for the first time. This adjustment came at an ideal moment, as the plants are now in the pre-flowering stage and seem to be taking up more water and nutrients. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adjusting Light Intensity and Encouraging Stretching At the end of last week, the light was set at 60 cm distance, but the plants appeared shorter than expected. To encourage vertical growth and stretching, I decided to increase the distance to 75 cm and reduce the light intensity. The goal was to stimulate the plants to reach upwards. This adjustment seemed to work well, as I noticed increased height in the plants as they stretched toward the light. However, once pre-flowering began around Day 18, I shifted the strategy. I started gradually reducing the light distance and increasing the intensity to optimize conditions for the flowering phase: After the plants stretched, I reduced the distance from 75 cm to 70 cm and increased the intensity to level 7 Finally, I lowered the light to 65 cm and increased the intensity to level 8 These changes were made over 24-hour intervals to ensure the plants adapted smoothly. They responded positively to the adjustments, with no signs of light stress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Signs of Pre-flowering and First Scent On Day 18, I noticed the first signs of pre-flowering. Several plants have begun to show small pistils, indicating that they are transitioning into the next phase of their life cycle. This timing aligned well with the increase in water and nutrients, ensuring the plants have everything they need to support their upcoming flowering stage. In addition, over the last 3-4 days, I’ve begun to notice a distinct smell when opening the tent. As a beginner, I’m still not sure if this is the smell of cannabis itself or just the scent of young plants in general. Since this is not only my first time growing cannabis, but also my first real interaction with it, I find myself a bit uncertain and naïve when it comes to identifying the typical smell. So far, I can’t really tell the difference in smell between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez plants. However, I am noticing the first differences in growth behavior. While the Gorilla Cookies had a height advantage at the beginning of the week, the two previously smaller Amnesia Zkittlez plants have now outgrown it. The Gorilla Cookies is growing more bushy and compact, while the Amnesia Zkittlez is starting to spread outward and gain height. It’s interesting to see these early variations between the strains as they move into the pre-flowering stage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned It’s fascinating to see how much I’ve learned in just a few weeks of growing. Every adjustment—whether it’s with the light intensity or watering—has a direct impact on the plants, and I’ve become more aware of how sensitive they can be to their environment. As a beginner, it’s exciting to realize how flexible the plants are in adapting to the different conditions I’m testing out. The responses to the light adjustments, in particular, have shown me how much control I can have over the plant’s development, even with small changes. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. I’ll also be paying attention to how the aroma develops, as this will be another clear sign of progress! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conclusion As I wrap up this week’s update, I’m excited to see how the plants will continue to develop, especially as they enter the flowering stage. With each passing day, I’m learning more about their needs and how small changes in the environment can have a big impact. The next week will be crucial as I adjust the watering and nutrient amounts to match their increased demands. I’m also looking forward to seeing how the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez strains evolve in both structure and aroma. If you have any feedback, suggestions, or questions, feel free to leave a comment—I’m always open to learning from others and improving along the way. Let’s grow together, and I can’t wait to share next week’s progress with you all!

Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. Stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to drop any advice or questions in the comments—this journey is all about learning together!

It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and it’s been an exciting one filled with significant changes. Once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Each week is a new opportunity to learn, and I’m thrilled to share what’s been happening with the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies. Let’s dive in! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 29 (Saturday): 1 liter per plant -Day 32 (Tuesday): 1.5 liters per plant -Day 35 (Friday): 1.5 liters per plant; plus, one Amnesia Zkittlez received an additional 2 liters of pH 6.5 water for a light flush The flush yielded 260ml of runoff from the bottom of the pot [6.5 p.H] Nutrients are applied with every watering, including CalMag from BioBizz starting this week Light Adjustments: -Light distance at 50 cm -Intensity level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update We are now officially at the beginning of the flowering stage, after spending the last two weeks in pre-flower. The transition into flowering has brought about some incredible growth. As you can see in the pictures I've uploaded, the plants have grown quite a bit compared to last week, and there are visible differences in their structure and overall development. The Amnesia Zkittlez continues to focus heavily on vertical growth, with a distinct central cola forming at the top, pushing up further each day. This rapid height increase has made it important to continually manage light height and intensity to avoid stressing the plants. On the other hand, the Gorilla Cookies is clearly exhibiting its characteristic bushy growth, staying more compact and round. The structure of this plant is fascinating—while it hasn’t grown significantly taller, it’s filled out nicely, with a more even distribution of bud sites all around the plant. In the uploaded photos, you can clearly see how densely the buds are forming. It’s almost as if the plant is putting all its energy into creating a thick canopy filled with evenly spaced flowers. Both strains are showing healthy bud development, and the first signs of flowers taking shape are becoming more obvious. Pistils are appearing at almost every node, and the buds are beginning to take on a distinct, fluffy structure that suggests they’re just getting started with flowering. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation Over the past week, I’ve maintained a strong focus on Low-Stress Training (LST) and careful defoliation to ensure the plants get maximum light exposure. Using LST clips, I’ve continued to bend the branches of each plant outward at nearly 90-degree angles, which has helped to open up the center of the plants and direct light to the lower nodes. This technique is especially visible in the pictures; the spread-out structure of the branches allows light to reach deeper into the canopy, encouraging more even growth and maximizing light penetration. I’ve also engaged in some selective defoliation. My main goal was to remove leaves that were either blocking important bud sites or growing inward, creating unnecessary shade. You might notice that the lower parts of the plants are looking much cleaner. I started with the first fan leaves and worked my way to removing small bud sites that weren’t getting enough light. This has allowed the plants to concentrate their energy on the more promising bud sites at the top and edges. Importantly, I made sure not to overdo it, preserving enough healthy foliage to continue efficient photosynthesis. I must say, I find the taller Amnesia Zkittlez a bit easier to handle compared to the bushier Gorilla Cookies when it comes to LST and defoliation. With the taller structure, it’s easier to maneuver the branches and clip them into position without them overlapping as much. It’s also more straightforward to manage leaf removal, as the spacing between nodes is greater. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine Since the last update on Day 28 (Friday), there have been some changes to the watering schedule. On Day 29 (Saturday), each plant received 1 liter of water. By Day 32 (Tuesday), I increased the water amount to 1.5 liters per plant to meet their growing demands. Then today, on Day 35 (Friday), the plants received 1.5 liters again. I also decided to do a light flush on one of the Amnesia Zkittlez plants for the first time today to see how it might affect growth. I gave that plant an additional 2 liters of pH 6.5 water until I saw a light runoff. The runoff measured about 260ml, which is a good indicator that the plant is draining well, and that there’s no significant buildup of salts or nutrients in the soil. The addition of CalMag to the watering routine, starting this week, has also continued. This was done to ensure the plants have adequate levels of calcium and magnesium during this critical growth phase, especially now that we’ve entered the flowering stage. So far, the plants seem to be responding well, with no signs of deficiencies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned This week has been a major learning experience, particularly in understanding the balance between growth management and light optimization. The differences between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies have been really pronounced this week, and it’s clear that each strain has its own needs. The Gorilla Cookies demands more space to spread and support its round, bushy form, while the Amnesia Zkittlez needs more careful management of height to keep the central cola under control. Seeing the buds start to form and fill out as we enter the flowering stage has been incredibly rewarding. Each plant is an experiment, and watching them react positively to LST, defoliation, and nutrient adjustments gives me a lot of motivation to keep refining my techniques. For the next grow, there are definitely a few things I would change. The pot size has been something I've given some thought to. Currently, I’m using 19-liter pots, but the dimensions could be improved. A taller pot with a smaller overall width would be much easier to handle in my space, especially when training the plants. I also realized that when I initially packed the pots with soil, I left too much space at the top. Having the soil level closer to the edge of the pot would have made LST during early veg a lot easier—it would have been simpler to bend the stems over, and the leaves wouldn’t have been blocked by the pot's edge before the stems grew tall enough. As a beginner, these small details are lessons I’m taking with me, and I hope to apply them in the future for a more efficient grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead Next week, I’ll continue monitoring the plants closely as they progress further into the flowering phase. I anticipate increasing the water volume to 1.5 liters consistently and potentially to 1.7-2 liters per plant if necessary, especially to support the plants in early flowering. The Amnesia Zkittlez plant that received the flush today will be observed closely over the next few days to determine if there is any noticeable difference in growth or overall health compared to the others. This is a bit of an experiment to see if flushing can help balance out any nutrient buildup. I’m also planning to be a bit more aggressive with defoliation on the Gorilla Cookies to ensure that all the bud sites are getting optimal light. The Amnesia Zkittlez will likely need further management to prevent height issues, especially now that we’re fully into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions to the Community I’d love to get some feedback from anyone with more experience. Are there any particular signs I should look for when it comes to increasing CalMag during flowering? How often should I be flushing, if at all, during an autoflower grow? And what are your experiences with managing aggressive height differences in autoflowers? Also, if anyone has experience with different pot dimensions for LST and ease of plant management, I’d love to hear your suggestions. Let me know your thoughts and any tips you might have for these next stages. Let’s keep growing together!

It’s Friday again, and that means another update! We’re now on Day 42, and the plants are looking better than ever. The flowering stage is progressing beautifully, and both the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are showing significant growth and bud development. Let’s get into the details! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 38-50% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 22-25°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) -Light Distance: 50 cm (unchanged) -Light Intensity: Level 10 (unchanged) Watering Schedule: -Day 36 (Saturday): 1.5 liters per plant -Day 39 (Tuesday): 1.5 liters per plant -Day 41 (Thursday): 1.5 liters per plant Nutrients: BioBizz Bloom increased to 2ml/L, CalMag and base nutrients added as per schedule. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The three Amnesia Zkittlez plants have continued their strong vertical growth, towering over the Gorilla Cookies. All three Zkittlez plants are developing thick central colas, with strong side branches supporting additional bud sites. The Gorilla Cookies, though shorter, is focusing more on bud density and creating a compact canopy filled with promising flowers. In the photos, you can clearly see the trichome production ramping up, especially on the Amnesia Zkittlez plants. The frosty coating on the buds is becoming more pronounced, and the plants are really starting to bulk up as the flowering progresses. Both strains are looking healthy, with no signs of stress or deficiencies. The LST continues to help with light penetration, allowing the lower bud sites to develop evenly across the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flowering Progress As we move deeper into the flowering stage, the pistils are continuing to mature, and more amber-colored hairs are beginning to show up, especially on the Amnesia Zkittlez. The buds are swelling up nicely, and the trichome development is clearly visible. The BioBizz Bloom increase from 1ml/L to 2ml/L seems to be helping the plants push through this crucial stage, supporting the formation of thicker, more resinous buds. The aroma is becoming stronger each day, with the Amnesia Zkittlez emitting a sweet, fruity scent, while the Gorilla Cookies has a rich, earthy fragrance. The scent profile is evolving as the buds mature, and it's becoming clear that these plants are heading towards a successful harvest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Maintenance The LST on the Amnesia Zkittlez plants is really paying off, with the branches being held out to allow maximum light exposure. The central colas on all three Amnesia plants are stretching up nicely, and the side branches are benefiting from the additional light. For the Gorilla Cookies, the more compact growth is making it slightly trickier to manage LST, but I’m doing my best to ensure the canopy remains open. The selective defoliation I’ve done over the past week has also helped maintain airflow and light exposure, and I’m continuing to remove any large leaves that are blocking key bud sites. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering As of Day 41, I’ve kept the watering amount consistent at 1.5 liters per plant. The plants are responding well to the increase in BioBizz Bloom, which is now at 2ml/L. The added phosphorus and potassium should help with flower development as the buds continue to swell. I’m also continuing to add CalMag at every watering to ensure the plants are getting enough calcium and magnesium during this important stage. The soil moisture has been consistent, with no signs of overwatering. The plants are absorbing the water well, and the drainage is healthy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Observations It’s been really exciting to watch the Amnesia Zkittlez plants grow taller and develop their central colas. The height makes it easier to manage the LST and defoliation, as the branches are more spaced out and easier to work with. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies is producing dense, compact buds that are coated in trichomes. Though shorter, it’s creating a strong canopy filled with buds, and the earthy aroma is becoming stronger by the day. For future grows, I’m definitely considering using taller, narrower pots to give the roots more room to grow deeper while saving space in the tent. It would likely make training in the early stages a bit easier and provide better root development overall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead As we head deeper into flowering, I’ll continue monitoring the bud development and watch for any signs that the plants might need additional nutrient support. The Bloom nutrient increase seems to be working well, but I’ll be paying close attention to how the plants respond as we move further into flowering. The trichome production is something I’ll be keeping a close eye on, especially as the buds continue to bulk up. I’ll also be adjusting the LST as needed to ensure that all the bud sites are receiving even light exposure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions to the Community I’d love to hear any thoughts on how to best support heavier buds as they bulk up, especially for the Amnesia Zkittlez that’s stretching tall. Does anyone have tips for reinforcing branches during this stage? Also, any advice on how much defoliation to continue with as the plants get deeper into flowering? Looking forward to your feedback and seeing how the plants progress over the next week!

It’s Friday again, and that means another update! We’re now on Day 48, and the plants are continuing to impress. The flowering stage is well underway, with the Amnesia Zkittlez growing taller and stronger while the Gorilla Cookies focuses on dense bud development. This week, we’ve kept the key parameters stable, and the plants seem to be thriving with minimal adjustments. Let’s dive into the details! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 38-47% -VPD: Max 2,00 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 22-25°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) -Light Distance: 45 cm -Light Intensity: Level 10 (unchanged) Watering Schedule -Day 44 (Saturday): 2 liters per plant -Day 48 (Wednesday): 2 liters per plant -Note: Nutrient mix remains the same. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The Amnesia Zkittlez plants continue their vertical surge, towering over the Gorilla Cookies. All three Zkittlez plants are developing impressive central colas with strong secondary bud sites, and trichome production is noticeably increasing. The Gorilla Cookies, while shorter, is packing on dense, resinous buds, forming a compact and robust canopy. The Amnesia Zkittlez’s strong structure is evident, with large colas pushing upwards and significant trichome coverage. The bud sites are swelling nicely, especially on the taller Amnesia plants, and overall plant health remains high, with no signs of nutrient deficiencies or stress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flowering Progress The flowering stage is progressing smoothly. We’ve noticed a slight increase in amber-colored pistils on the Amnesia Zkittlez, indicating that the buds are maturing nicely. The increased BioBizz Bloom dosage (now at 2ml/L since last week) is supporting excellent flower development, helping the plants push through this phase with thicker, more resinous buds. Both strains are developing distinct aromas. The Amnesia Zkittlez emits a sweet, fruity scent that intensifies each day, while the Gorilla Cookies has a rich, earthy fragrance. Trichome production is increasing across all plants, particularly on the Amnesia Zkittlez, which is showing a frosty coating on the buds. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Maintenance The low-stress training (LST) is mostly passive now. The Amnesia Zkittlez plants benefit from previous LST, with branches spread out to allow maximum light exposure. The central colas are stretching nicely, and the side branches are developing additional bud sites. The Gorilla Cookies, with its more compact growth, is harder to manage for LST, but it’s still forming dense buds within its tight structure. Minimal defoliation was done this week, with only a few unhealthy or dying leaves removed to maintain airflow and light penetration. The Gorilla Cookies has a particularly dense canopy, so selective defoliation is helping expose lower bud sites to more light. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering The nutrient regimen remains consistent with CalMag added during each watering. The plants are responding well to the nutrient mix, with no signs of deficiencies. Soil moisture levels remain consistent, and the plants are absorbing water effectively without any signs of overwatering. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Observations It’s been exciting to watch the Amnesia Zkittlez plants continue their vertical growth, especially as their central colas bulk up. The additional height makes training and defoliation easier, as the branches are spaced out well for light distribution. The Gorilla Cookies, on the other hand, is shorter but impressively dense, packing tight, resinous buds with a strong earthy aroma. For future grows, I’m considering switching to taller, narrower pots to encourage deeper root growth and save space in the tent. This could improve nutrient uptake and make early-stage training easier. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead As we progress deeper into the flowering stage, I’ll closely monitor bud development and trichome production. The Amnesia Zkittlez is developing heavy colas, and I’ll be considering reinforcement options to support the branches as the buds continue to bulk up. I’ll also watch the nutrient needs of the plants. The BioBizz Bloom increase has been effective so far, but I’ll adjust if necessary based on how the plants respond as they push further into flowering. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions to the Community As the buds continue to develop and the plants enter the later stages of flowering, I’m curious about optimizing the final weeks. Do you have any advice on fine-tuning nutrient levels or adjusting environmental conditions like humidity or temperature during this phase to maximize yield and trichome production? Also, when should I start considering flushing, and what’s the best timing for each strain? Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions as we approach the critical final weeks of flowering!

It’s a bit of a late update today, but still Friday, and we’re now on Day 56! The grow is progressing smoothly, and the plants are entering their final stages of flowering. Both the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are really starting to shine, with heavy buds, thick trichome layers, and increasingly mature pistils. Let’s break down what’s been happening this week. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 38-50% -VPD: Max 2.0 -Airflow: Active at level 1, adjusts automatically when needed -Day Temperature: 22-27°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) -Light Distance: 45 cm -Light Intensity: Level 10 (unchanged) Watering Schedule: -Day 51 (Sunday): 2 liters per plant -Day 54 (Wednesday): 2 liters per plant -Day 56 (Friday): 2 liters per plant ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update We’re at the tail end of the flowering phase, and the progress is noticeable. The Amnesia Zkittlez plants continue to stand tall, with their central colas swelling even more this week. The Gorilla Cookies, though more compact, has become an impressive mass of dense, trichome-covered buds. The trichome production is ramping up across both strains, and the buds are looking frostier than ever. In terms of color development, the pistils on both strains are transitioning from white to orange and amber, indicating that they’re maturing steadily. The Amnesia Zkittlez has continued to stretch slightly, allowing the side branches to fill out more. This growth has created larger, more impressive buds, particularly on the main colas. The aroma is intensifying as the plants near the end of their flowering cycle. The Amnesia Zkittlez still carries a sweet, fruity scent, but it’s becoming more pungent and complex. The Gorilla Cookies remains true to its earthy, almost cookie-like fragrance, but there’s also a deep richness developing, adding to its appeal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flowering Progress The pistils have started turning from clear to cloudy, which is a great sign that we’re nearing peak potency. Both strains are progressing nicely, with the buds visibly swelling and becoming denser each day. The BioBizz Bloom and consistent nutrient schedule have supported this bulk-up phase effectively, with no signs of nutrient deficiencies or excess. There’s a noticeable difference in bud structure between the two strains. The Amnesia Zkittlez colas are large and cylindrical, with an open, airy appearance, while the Gorilla Cookies buds are smaller but incredibly dense, creating a compact, potent canopy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Maintenance Not much active training is happening now, but the early LST has paid off tremendously. The open canopy on the Amnesia Zkittlez continues to allow for great light penetration, ensuring the lower bud sites are developing well. For the Gorilla Cookies, the short, dense structure has created a beautiful, even canopy that’s packed with solid, resinous buds. I’ve kept up with selective defoliation, mainly removing a few fan leaves that were shading lower buds. The airflow remains solid, with no signs of mold or other issues. At this stage, it’s all about maintaining the balance, ensuring the plants are still receiving enough light and airflow without over-defoliating and causing stress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering The watering schedule has been consistent this week, with each plant receiving 2 liters of water per session. The plants are drinking steadily, and the soil is maintaining good moisture levels between waterings, with healthy drainage. Nutrient-wise, I’m continuing with the current dose. The buds are still swelling, and the plants are absorbing the nutrients well. I haven’t seen any nutrient burn or other signs of overfeeding, so I’ll stick with this regimen for the coming days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Observations It’s exciting to see how far the plants have come. The Amnesia Zkittlez continues to amaze me with its tall, thick colas and aggressive trichome production. The Gorilla Cookies, though much shorter, is producing some nice dense buds. The differences in their growth patterns are stark, but both strains are thriving in their own way. I’ve been monitoring the trichomes closely, as the transition from clear to cloudy is a key indicator of when to start planning the harvest. The smell inside the grow space is intense, and it’s clear that we’re in the final stretch now. I’m starting to think about how to support these heavy buds as they continue to fill out—especially the Amnesia Zkittlez, which is producing some impressively large colas that may need staking soon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead Over the next week, I’ll be watching for further signs that the plants are nearing harvest. I’m planning to continue feeding through the weekend and into early next week, and I’ll reassess based on how the plants are looking. The Amnesia Zkittlez may need some additional support to handle the weight of its heavy colas, so I’m preparing some stakes just in case. No major changes in the nutrient regimen are expected, but I’ll be reducing the feeding slightly as we near harvest to prevent nutrient buildup. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions to the Community As I’m getting ready for the final phase, I’d love to hear some advice on managing large colas that may need extra support. What methods do you use to reinforce heavy branches? Let me know what’s worked for you! Looking forward to hearing from everyone and seeing these plants through to the finish!

It’s Friday again, and here’s this week’s update, wrapping up Day 63! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 38-50% -Temperature: Day 22-25°C, Night 22°C -Light Cycle: Unchanged -Light Distance: Unchanged -Light Intensity: Unchanged Watering Schedule: -Day 60 (Tuesday): 2 liters per plant, pH-adjusted water only -Day 63 (Friday, today): 2 liters per plant, pH-adjusted water only Nutrients: Stopped as of last week; now using only pH-adjusted water. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth and Flowering Update Entering Week 9, the flowering stage is hitting its peak! All three Amnesia Zkittlez plants are showcasing dense, frosty buds with amber-tinted trichomes on the upper leaves, while the Gorilla Cookies remains shorter but is packed with compact, resinous buds. The Amnesia Zkittlez plants are beginning to show around 30% amber trichomes on some upper sugar leaves, especially near the canopy. Lower buds are mostly cloudy, which helps in planning the final harvest timing. In terms of scent, Amnesia Zkittlez has developed a bold, fruity aroma, while Gorilla Cookies adds a rich, earthy tone. The combined scents are getting stronger each day, and it’s clear that the buds are nearing maturity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watering and Nutrient Approach As the flowering phase progresses, I’ve decided against a full flush. Instead, I’m providing only pH-adjusted water to allow the plants to naturally use any remaining nutrients. This gradual approach should help maintain terpenes and smooth out the final flavor profile. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Preparing for Harvest The harvest window is approaching quickly! Based on trichome development, I’m aiming to harvest at the end of next week (end of Week 10) or early Week 11. The goal is to see around 30% amber trichomes across the plants for a balanced effect and flavor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead & Community Question With harvest prep underway, each day’s trichome checks bring me closer to deciding the exact timing. The plan is to prepare for drying and curing phases carefully to preserve aroma and potency. For anyone with experience curing fruity strains like Amnesia Zkittlez, any tips on maximizing aroma during curing?
