This is my 2nd attempt at this plant. The first one germinated and died. Planted 8/10, popped 8/14 This one is struggling to make it (poor genetics?). Something funky is going on with the leaves and she's not thriving, especially in comparison to other tent mates. Runt-like. We'll see...

This is my 2nd attempt at this plant. The 1st one germinated and died. I planted this one 8/10, popped 8/14 Again, it's struggling. Something funky is going on with the leaves. They are twisted and she's not thriving, especially in comparison to other tent mate. Is it genetic?

Starting an auto in a puck is not good advise. Breaking through the puck can cause it to go into flower early. With photoperiods it's fine, but better to not have any kind of barrier around an auto's roots.

If you want a decent start to seedlings use peat pucks to Initially germinate. The dense medium retains moisture well. With no details its hard to judge. But there are some fine points just from the pictures supplied. First off fabric pots, not as breathable as you may think. They are normally taller (longer) than regular pots or air pots. One of the things about germinating a small seedling in such a large pot is the seedling g is only as big as it is below ground as it is above. You have alot of perlite which I'd guess means it airy. Gravity will pull the moisture to the bottom, while generally the heat and evaporation from the lights will dry out the top couple of inches. Nutrients can only uptake where water is found,.this leads often to, water, water, water water, with water at bottom never able to evaporate or drain. Any water left to sit for x amount of time will eventually stagnate. The 3"4" lip at top of fabric pot will prevent nearly all the "fresh air" reaching the tiny seedling if it's 90 degrees horizontal in order to grow it needs co2 , which is already only 0.04% of air we breathe. Get air hitting that thing from a 45 degree angle. Make sure bottom of pot is elevated and does not sit in any run off. Ph messed up? Seedling has barely started life, can't say this would be a nutrient problem. Too many unanswered questions to provide more details than that.

What soil are you in? What is your environment like? What have you been feeding? Your diary has no info, just images, so it is difficult to work out what has happened. I would lean towards a mistake you've made rather than a genetic issue.
