Humidity too low, temp top high and missing a few nutrients. 2nd week in the tent and growing is proliferating. I I'm regenerating my own strain after a successful harvest. Her name is Helen Keller. ...same as last week-on the hot side. Still waiting on some nutes..I'm running micro, grow, and calmag. I try to have 6gal ferment tank going to add co2. I run the hot air from the light out the tent and to the fermenter to keep warm.
Beginning of the week as I checked pH I got a little zap..my amazon pump was acting finickey a week prior. My advice is to keep a back up pump if aeroponics is your thing. I checked Kijiji and scored a quality pump that's easily 3x the power of the old for 50 bucks..on-top of that 2 sets of flora grow t5 (4 and 3') w brand new replacements bulbs. I thought the power of the new pump would blow my spray manifold, but works steller. Nutes are in check and systems running great. Gonna do a good check for mites and watch some aggressive growth. I'm confident to say, I should get 5"+ of growth in 7 days. See y'all next week XD

my girls are just tipping 11". I don't think it's quite 6 "growth, but it's good enough. I've been running my pump continuous which may have a bit to do with the res water so warm.
I use General Hydroponics three stage feeding w cal mag. I'd like to get some vulvic/humic acid and maybe a silica to add. I don't buy in to alot of those other gimic nutes.
I had a couple mites on my HK last week. I spent 4+ hr treating/rincing every house plant plus everything in the tent. Ciao friends;)
My grow tent is about 2 1/4 feet x 4 x 6 ft . I use an inline exhaust fan on a cycle timer. 400 watt . I have HEPA filters mounted on the little windows for clean passive air- no intake fan.
To keep the RH up and temp down can anyone recommend a cycle time for the exhaust fan?
always keep the exhaust running no matter what, you'd e surprised how quickly bud rot sets in even a short break will increase your chances of getting damaging bud rot in there. good news is the exhaust will help with temperature. for increasing the humidity, you can get a humidifier, or even an evaporation cooler if you want to also keep the temperature down. these can be quite cheap also. So short answer : never turn off the exhaust, and get some cool mist . your plants will surely love it ! Hope this helps ! 🚀
Im running the fan 1 min on 15 off. That along with my subpump on a timer, have set the atmosphere right.
I'd like to start some whiskey mash and get some extra CO2 but the weather has been insane.
Im giving the garden a few extra hours dark. I might start 12 on 12 off next week.

Today is first day of flower.ill have to get the charcoal filter recharged and reinstalled before the dank comes. I topped my res up and haven't added an nutes thus far. I'll target for 900-1000 ppm and adjust pH tomorrow. I'd really like to get some bees or parasitic wasps. I did find a lone mite, which means there's more. I have more house plants than the avg bear and regretting ATM. I heard mites hate cilantro, but can't stand the shit..Im enjoying the basil and aurugala I've been growing; I can't be spraying no more shit..

Thanks to Bulbi's advice, my exhaust fan works full time now.
I've trained with the trellis , but might get more aggressive. One of my seedlings are male so there will be some extra room for the LA. Im thinking i should have another fan for extra circulation, but moving it around seems to work.
If I don't remember to by some grains or molasses next time i go to the city, I'm gonna steal my kids cereal to ferment..
After growing a bunch of pickle size cucumbers, there's finally male flowers growing.hopefully I'll have fat ones to show off next week. Ciao mates!
Other than spreading folage out to new found space (had two male seedlings), I haven't maintenanced much. I want to get the pH down slow. I'm doing a top up and going to be careful for no big jumps.
I'm gonna take the bins my tank sits on out to give me more grow room for next crop, and to keep reservoir temp down. Check ya later dudes:))))
Oh..I agree that the value of buds far exceeds the amount of vegetables I could ever grow but I'm an outdoors man- it's majority of what I smoke. im doing this strictly as hobby and for more variety.
Im 2weeks behind a perfectly planned flush for a 55 day strain (approx). Tomorrow I'm flushing. About two weeks ago I found some male parts on the la. I was able to pull "it" out of the tent and set up 5 gal pail w a few bubblers and sol'n in a stand up shower no one uses. I didn't want seeds in the rest of the crop and I want to finish "it" off regardless of gender..lol.. unfortunately I'm limited to using only two 3ft t5sto finish off.
With the LA Confidential getting only flurecent light, its not as plump as the rest. I wish I had another HID light. I've been flushing for about a week r so. I've been chasing my pH from 5.5 to 7.2. The pictures are from two days ago. I'm hoping this weekend to cut them down but that might be wishful thinking. Maybe I flushed too early..life's been busy
I've cut my LA Confidential down the day before last; I suppose I should smoke some before I log a harvest for it tho.
My pH is more stable and the ppm is getting down pretty low.
Im getting a mag glass tomorrow to see the trichomes better. They seem to be mixed cloudy and clear, but I'm unsure. The buds are pretty dense and sticky. Any day now..
Depends on how it has been fed during its entire life cycle .... from what I can see I would say a week to trigger the senescence and another week or 2 to fade .... cut the nootz , just add some Mag Sulfur and some enzymes to finish it if you think it’s necessary.....
This plant shouted indica from the get go. Broad leaves, deep green colour and hardy posture. I believe LA Confidential to carry a phenotype in their genetics to have red in the stalk..you can call this a defficency but two other strains lacked this trait in the same garden. Another grower with LA exhibited this also.
just got a huge change in weather. I think its why my humidity has been going up to 55%. I've been using a dehumidifier and fan in the room my tents in just to keep 45%. I've found the beginning on mold on the AK. It's amazing what a razor blade and 180 proof rum will do to a troublesome "wet" area...I doubt I lost more than a couple grams. I took a couple colas off this morning to help air get around better.
This ordeal has been exciting and yet chaotic. Many speed bumps, but more knowledge for the next go. Nothing got along in this tent. The smell is so strong it's all I smell when I come in and out of my house. The wife's not pleased. I can't wait for a veg cycle! Time to recharge the carbon scrubber.
I was given the seed months before and just grew it on a whim with the LA and one of my own. I turned out great. It got the far right side of the tent and did well. She did even better with extra room up when the LA had to be moved. I jumped the gun on the flush and wish I could have given another week, but the down side to this specimen is prone to mold and my hands were tied. I do have another smaller plant with VERY dense buds that's sitting at 50-60% RH - not a sign of mold..
I'm happy with this plant.
