Week Four, still in the Vegetative stage. Both plants entered a growth spurt, each plant is 9.5" tall. Plant One has the name tag, plant two has the green rim on the bag. As I mentioned earlier, plant one sprouted first and plant two was smaller. They have become equal in height during this past week. The internodes on both plants are 2" apart but, I was stressing the branches on plant one by gently pressing them downward and holding them stretched for about 30 seconds each. Day by Day they would remain down for longer periods of time. I did not perform the same LST technique on plant two. As you can see, the branches on plant one are longer and more full than those on plant two. I believe bending the side-branches while they were young and still soft did have a positive effect on their growth. I allowed the soil to dry out between week three into week four. I then only provided 12 ounces of water every other day until yesterday. Yesterday I feed them one tablespoon of Foxfarm Tiger Bloom (2-8-4). During this next week, I will feed them the same except, on a rotating schedule of water then two days later Tiger Bloom. That will be one feeding during week four. Once they begin to show flowers, I plan on a feeding schedule of Tiger Bloom (2-8-4) then water, then Bushdoctor BEMBE' (0-1-3), then water & repeat. Not being familiar with this strain, I don't want to do heavy feedings unless there are indications they can both tolerate it and that it would be beneficial. They appear to be quite healthy and are growing as I would expect. The directions claim they should be ready for harvest on March 7th, from sprout to finish. As for the lighting, I am allowing the plants to grow upwards to the light. Shortening the space between plants and light as they mature. Currently at 18"

Has anyone ever heard of a strain that gets stuck on Cloudy Trichs? I'm just a few days past the proposed harvest date yet, 1 & 1/2 weeks ago I noticed 10% Trichs turned amber but, all the rest seem stuck on cloudy. 95% of the pistols have turned red, fan leaves are dying/dead

hey R_Owl , yeah I even had one that stayed stuck on cloudy trichs lol, really frustrating, but I'll tell you something, it's actually a good thing. Cloudy means the triches are filled with THC so 100% cloudy means that it's 100% max THC potency. amber trichs means they oxidised and produce CBN or CBD even which is not necessarily a bad thing, depends on taste. So when mine was all cloudy i left it a few more weeks then took it down, and after the cure it ended up being one of the stronger strains i harvested. Different strains rippen differently, maybe you just got one of the stronger phenos, so don't worry look at it like it's a good thing.

@The_Projexx, Thanks! I started out with two (fem seeds) but, one was a male! I think I pulled him before any pods popped but, can't be certain. Once I saw the pods, I pulled it and set it to the side for another day. Once I got back to him, I did notice one pod had spilled its pollen. Not sure if it happened in the tent or after I pulled him. This is called Hindu Glue, which appears to be rare as I could only find one breeder who offered it. They were Gifted to me. It's no longer available so a few seeds might be welcomed, depending on the outcome & potency. I'm uncertain if the Auto genes will transfer to any seeds but, they were siblings so who knows?

“I trimmed off all the large fan leaves so the light would read [reach] every bud, leaving none under shade.” & “The directions on the packaging said 9-10 weeks ...” Switching to Daylight savings time makes me irritable, and I’ve had quite a bit to drink, so please don’t take great offense at my candor. It’s more me than you, most likely. Defoliating during flower is a no no because it adds stress. Further, and more to the point, it doesn’t deliver the result everyone believes it does. Buds don’t need light. Say that aloud so it sinks in. BUDS DONT NEED LIGHT. They do need air and room to grow. This is the very reason plants naturally stretch when they go into flower. A dense under canopy is to be avoided because it can harbor humidity and encourage mold. That is why we defoliate when growing indoors under artificial light. Outdoors the sun is strong enough to nourish every leaf - no need to defoliate outdoors. Here’s a novel method I’ve played with: After growing a healthy bush, induce stretch by moving your light higher 1-2 weeks prior to flower, then flip (I prefer transition) to 12/12. (Induce autos also by moving light) Defoliate only the layered leaves touching each other, and dead leaves. Instructions on packaging? HA!!

". I was told by someone that if two Autoflowers were bred, their offspring would be regular photoperiod plants & not carry the Autoflower gene over to the resultant seeds." .... well "someone" doesnt know the first thing about plants let alone genetics lol

@CRiSPrGrow, so if seeds are produced, I should grow them as I would an autoflower? That info came from someone on a Facebook Autogrower page.
