9/14/24 very fast growth from all strains, growth is getting more uniform between strains.
Northstar_cannabis Pound cake has been a top performer staying right behind purple punch in growth. Large leaves developed outward at a fast pace as well.
Northstar_cannabis Pound cake is hopefully full height now, not much vertical space left. No issues, happy plant, super easy to grow.
No change on Nutrients this week.
Half gallon daily seems sufficient.

Northstar_cannabis Just a beautiful east growing plant. Added supplemental lighting due to the large canopies. I take a very hands off approach, let the gentics and the plant do it their way.
Looks like it will live up to its name, so many buds on this girl.

Northstar_cannabis Defoliation was done this week, open up the canopy for better light and wind flow. Sugar leaves are starting to change to a red color. Trichomes look long and abundant. Beautiful plant to grow.

Northstar_cannabis Light defoliation done as needed this week. Leaves are showing more colors. Vertical growth has stopped. The buds are really beefing up, looking dense and delicious ๐. We're almost to harvest!

Northstar_cannabis 11/17 started the flush until harvest. Plain tap well water, ph of well water is 7.3- 7.6
Pistols are orange and shrinking. Sugar leaves have a beautiful red on the edges and almost a red hue to the buds. It's a large yield plant for sure, large dense buds. Lives up to the name pound cake!
The name says it all! It's a fatty! Main cola is absolutely massive, we'll see how big once I trim. I always cut and hang the whole plant immediately. It's winter in Minnesota and humidity is low, drying the whole plant slows the drying. Very easy plant to grow, hardy, looks like a big yield.

Northstar_cannabis Chopped 11/25 after a humidifier failure. I had planned on a few more days, but the plants were definitely ready to harvest. I'll post pictures and weight after dying and trimming. Great beginner or experienced grower strain. If yields are what you're after, pound cake should be on your list!
