She was easy to grow, just followed Fox Farm feeding schedule. Started with 1/4 amount and full strength by week three. I had a slight PH issue going into flower. I used Roots Organic soil original, my second time trying this brand. I had PH issues with my last grow in this soil. This bag was infested with gnats, never had that happen before. After first water they appeared in droves.
I've had my best success since switching to this led light even though it's only 100W. I normally only grow one plant at a time though. It seems to have been just enough this round trying two plants as an experiment.
I believe these lights have made a big difference getting the lower buds to mature to a decent size as long as I do a good amount of defoliation before flower and at three weeks in. Potent enough to feel the effects.
I decided to harvest today. It was time to water her but she had already feed off the fan leaves enough to turn them all yellow and I didn't want to harvest her freshly watered and I didn't want to lose any sugar leaves since I don't trim them.. I will trim the bigger ones, if present, and any fan leaves with trichomes to make cannabutter. The sugar leaves are covered with amber trichomes and here and there on the buds. I only veg'd her for three weeks and coming in at only 18" tall, she is stout and bulky with some nice dense buds. I anxious to see how much weight she drops by the end of the first week. Coming in at 278 grams wet, the whole plant, I would think I should be left with 100 grams but well see. That's plenty for us to decide if we will continue grow this strain.
