ArucambaAutoflowers297 4 of the ladies are 13 days old and 1 is 7 days old and had a rough start when she sprouted. Last grow i got a bit too comfortable and fed way too much which i believe caused the lockours since my runoff was good. Its my 4th grow and ill be doing "water,water,feed" till flower, maybe "water,feed,water" if everything goes great. I really want to avoid future lockouts. What is your technique. Id love to hear from you guys how you avoid lockouts. Happy New Year!!

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Week 3: 4 of the ladies showed sex this week. The big girl popped pistils on day 18 and the other 3 ladies popped pistils on day 20. I hope ill get another week of veg before the growth spurt and fill out their pots. Training: during the 4 days of ponytailing i noticed the aggressive growth on the side branches, cant say it had a big effect as bending has. This week i held the branches down with wiring to create nice strong branches and ive been leaf tucking everyday. I lock the leave blades together with lower leaves to hold them in place but they wont stay down. Im trying to avoid selective deleafing till after the big growth spurt. Nutrients: the ladies had their first feeding last week and 2 waterings ph'd to 6.5 with 2 dry days between every watering. Ill be giving their 2nd feeding on day 25. Im raising the dosage of Canna Terra Vega from 0.5ml/L to 1ml/L

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Growth: The ladies are 29 days old today(#5 23 days) and are all shooting pistils. #5 just popped her first pistils. I think they are starting their stretch. I upsized pots this run so i hope the ladies will fill their pots. Training: This week ive been a little rough with training. I had #5 tied down on day 19 and broke off a few nodes of the top. She didnt seem to mind, i guess you can top this strain early on with great results. Day 19 is way too late so im not not getting my hopes up. In the pictures you can see the difference from day 19 and today. I also broke a branch on #1 but was fixed with some tape. Nutrients: Canna Terra Vega 1.5ml/L next feeding 2ml/L Rhizotonic 2ml/L foliar feeding 2x p/week Cannazym 2.5ml/L 1x p/week. Happy growing!✌️🤘🌱

ArucambaAutoflowers297 EDIT: I thought the girls were done growing verticaly but i guess not. I measured at 51cm 2 times in a row. I just went to check and theyre 58 to 60cm and still going. (Day 37) Growth: This week vertical growth slowed down while the branches are catching up. I had a nitrogen deficiency on all the girls. I still go by the water,water,feed schedule and i usually have 2 dry days between every watering. So they only had 3 feedings of Terra Vega all this time. I think ill do water feed water now that flowering has begun. Lets hope these girls will put on some weight 😁 I added 1 100W cob and will be adding more the coming months. I also have a tent on the way. Training: I defoliated the 4 girls that are in flower and stopped applying LST. #5 (1 week behind) on the other hand got manhandled lol. I accidentally broke off the top and she got supercropped and bounces back within hours. Nutrients: 2ml Canna Terra Vega>>>1.5ml Canna Terra Vega 1ml Canna Terra Flores 2.5ml Cannazym 1x per week

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Week 6, day 43. Growth: The girls still grew a bit past week, #4 the biggest of them all is 71 cm. Buds started to develop on all 5 girls. I noticed a deficiency and took action but ill explain this down bellow:) Training: I did a selective defolation on all 5 girls. Maybe ill be picking off leaves that are in the way but there will be no more training. Im just going to let them do thier thing. Nutrients: 4 out of the 5 had little burned tips on the leaves because of overfeeding. Some of the plant's leaves are pretty dark so i think they did not like the feeding of 2.5ml Canna Terra Vega and 2.5ml Cannazym. Next feeding when the soil is day will be 2ml of Canna Terra Flores. Issues: I was hoping i was not going to need a "issues" section but im no pro so i expected some issues. So first issue was, Temp fluctuations: Its cold here and i have to set a timer on a 2000w heater battling the cold when the lights are off. I decided to run the tent 24/7 through flower to have a consistent temperature like our fellow grower Rudiak suggested. I added a new carbon filter and put a fan in the intake hole. now my temperature stays between 26 and 26.5 and humidity is also stable around 30 to 40%. This is my solution for this run but not a permanent solution. I think ill be removing the mars hydro 300 when setting up the new tent. It takes one heat source too many out the tent. i can cover the whole tent with the cob and reflector96. Nutrientburns, Nutrient lockout: Some of the girls look like they have a nitrogen toxicity and also some burned tips on the leaves so i skipped 2 feedings. I noticed i also had deficiencies, i suspected iron deficiency but i now think its nitrogen deficiency because the new growth is not effected. They got burned by the amount of nutrients they had last feeding so i assumed something wasnt right in the soil. I flushed the girls today with 24L per pot. with a ph of 6.6, the runoff was 5.9 and managed to get it to 6.4. Because of the big difference the ph in my soil mustve been really low causing the lockout. Lets hope everything will be ok after their first feeding after flush

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Day 51. Growth: The girls stopped growing vertically and are between 62 and 75cm. Theyre all frosty already so im guessing theyll be frosty girls once they have put on weight. They arent looking healthy and i fucked up this week :( Ill explain everything down below. Training: Selective deleafing (cannabalized leaves) Nutrients: Ok so i had some ph issues last week and flushed as soon as i could( had to wait for soil to dry) I explained this in depth in last week's diary. Anyway, they got flushed and finally fed them 3 ml of canna terra florres 2-2-4. And next feeding will be 1ml of Canna Mono Calcium 15% and 1ml of Canna Mono Magnesium 7% Issues: The soil wasnt completely dry yet when i first fed after the flush but the girls were suffering and begging for theyre first dose of flores. I also carefully gave a foliar feeding to help her a bit during her flush instead of cannabalizing the shit out of theirselves. According to the time I have set on the timer the girls shouldve had 2 more hours of darkness after the foliar. Turns out somehow my timer wasnt set the way i left it and it ended up burning a few leaves, luckily it was a big foliar feeding. I must of bumped into it when setting up the tent. My dumbass shouldve checked the timer more often and im so mad at myself for letting this happen. Environment: So the ladies have a new home, a 27"×27"×63" tent. I didnt expect them to fit properly but it did!. The tent is definitely full. But i dont think ill run into issues. Right now i have a 150m3/h filter with a 185m3/h fan. The temperature and humidity is under control for now. I do have a little bit of positive pressure in the tent but not enough to inflate the tent, the room doesnt smell so im assuming no air is escaping from anywhere other then the exhaust. I will be updrading the inline fan and filter so i dont run into heat problems

ArucambaAutoflowers297 I was out of town last week, not being able to update. During my vacation i left the garden in my sister's hands and the ladies got overfed because of a miscommunication. The girls have been flushed and will be flushed again tomorrow. followed by some waterings and will be harvesting around march 10 as long as the girls have enough amber thricomes. Aiming for 20 to 30% amber as i need my girls to help me sleep well. Shes cannibalizing herself allot through the last week and been picking of leaves that allow me to pull them off without too much force. Im finally getting ready for harvest

ArucambaAutoflowers297 Yield: So i did not get the yield i wanted but the quality definitely makes up for it. I yielded only 160 grams and i wanted 200 to 250 grams, aah mistakes are the path to success right? Issues: In this grow i realised what my issue was the last 2 runs. I should not ph my water when im watering between feeds. I will not use ph- unless the soil is too alkaline. Smoke report: The buds went into jars today to start curing. I did have a smoke before i put the buds in jars and damn are they tasty! Ive never had girlscout cookies before or had weed with a minty undertone. This strain really does have a unique taste. I will definitely grow this again in better conditions
