Standard seed start in the AeroGarden I have a still 100% germination with this machine. Simply the best way to get the plants started. Place in water overnight then place into the AeroGarden.

Ok arrived home plants are good I have moved them from the AeroGarden to the grow tent in with my one established blueberry plant going to try to flower them all together. Plants looking good so far , looking at topping at the weekend then one more week veg. I transferred from the AeroGarden into coco coir with perlite this worked quite well with very little stress. It’s amazing how much more confident I am with my second grow although technically this is my 1st feminized grow and looking forwards to the challange of the 12/12 cycle.

All 3 plants looking very good and healthy flowers forming a bit slower than my other blueberry but they look healthy. Plan to keep the same feeding schedules this week. On the Monday I added my new mehzi 300w light to add temp additional lighting until my other new seeds are ready

Good week they are starting to flower and I am having to feed and water more often they are sucking up the juice. Moved to using more kool bloom liquid for this week I think we are at mid bloom.

The jack herr is still stretching I am glad I flowered so early I think my tent would have been taken over. I am about 1-2 weeks behind the blueberry I think and will have room in the grow tent for the last push and swelling. All of the girls are healthy. And I will certainly try my 1st clone grow of one of them next.

All 3 plants flowering ok. 2 are really stretching one is more compact. Will switch over to Kool Bloom powder this week eager to see if the plants will get some weight on. It’s true about the jack herr you need to have a lot of height and room to control the plant. It’s a challenge as I have little room in the tent.

Changed over to tap water now with the nutrients. The addition of the Kool Bloom powder is doing its thing they are starting to swell. There are 2 stretched plants and one shorter. The shorter plant has much more promise and is displaying nice flowers. The smell off this plant is very pleasant. My other large blueberry plant has one more week then a flush so these plants will get more light next week.

1 plant has progressed to almost completed buds. One plant needs 2-3 weeks and the 3rd plant has potentially bigger buds, this is a result of different light positions in the tent. Tonight I can position them better as the blueberry will be harvested soon. This how has 2-3 weeks to go.

Guys been going great until I checked today. My top leaves turning grey white and crunchy on 2 plants. 3rd plant ok. What do you think too much Kool Bloom? To much heat from the light?? I don’t think it’s the latter I decided to flush for 2 days to clean it out??

Hey man I know im late to the party but that your lights doing that for sure , its burning up the chlorophil in the leag and its drying out and then you can basically crumble it . All the classic signs are there man even the leaves being bent upward into the shape of a taco . Thats how it will start out small bending upwards until its very exaggerated and then they will dry out turn brown/white and crumble up like a dead leaf would if you found it outside . I advise that you raise your lamp to 20 inches from your canopy this will greatly reduce the heat on your plants . If raising your light isnt an option you need to get more ventilation in there to cool the light down and reduce the over all temp of the room . When you start to see damages like that you can also be assured that some of the THC content on the top parts of those buds will be burnt and less potent then some other parts of that plant . Over all its an easy fix you just need to raise your light or get some more ventilation in there and you will be back to rocking and rolling in no time. I would also advise you trim away all those dead leaves in order to prevent any unwanted pests from making themselves a nice home this will also encourage and increase air flow around your plant . I hope this information helps you understand what happened to your plant here , the signs that lead up to it and the ways you can fix it :) - Happy Growing!

I had a fright because 2 plants went white, the leaves went white and crunchy once i moved it to the more powerful light, maybe it got some kind of thermal shock, because i was using PK i thought i better flush because i didn't know if they were like this because of the nutrients. anyway they seem to be ok, and the buds are nicely forming, i am going to give them 2 more weeks then check them.

Plant are starting to frost up nicely I have 3 very different looking plants which is confusing me a bit as they are supposed to be the same strain. Anyway they all have the same aroma like a lemon really nice and pleasant smell. Will feed the plants until Sunday night then flush for a Thursday harvest.

This strain was a total surprise. I only did the vegetation for 3 weeks and allowed for the plant to stretch. And stretch she did. The buds are full and smell great , kind of a lemon pledge smell. I would highly recommend this as a growing experience and a pleasant surprise. I also cloned one of the plants and she will be placed into flower next week.

Very short vegetation cycle compared to the blueberry but it produce good buds and happy with the yield. Most interesting point in this strain is all 3 plants performed differently due to position and access to the light. It was interesting that the one plant which had to work to grow towards the light was probably the best plant. The strain from Seedsman all germinated quickly and I had no trouble at all with this grow. The seeds I used were free extras from Seedsman for my ghost train haze. So thanks Seedsman for such quality seeds. My final yield for small pots pretty good I think. Thanks for all the help as ever and happy growing!0

I have a few of these seeds as a freebie from my last order. Your plant looks great! I think I'll follow along to see what to expect when I grow my seeds. I'm also interested to see what happens when you flip to flower after 3 weeks.

@mrhat2001, I'm not that familiar with coco. Don't you have to feed more often because coco is just a planting medium? It doesn't have anything to help the plant grow? Did you increase the amount of water/nutes so that you didn't have to water as often? Or did you just cut back on watering/feeding. I know with soil, I like to let it dry out prior to watering/feeding, but I feed 2/3 of the time I water. You are right. There has been significant growth since last week. She is stretching hard!
mrhat2001
mrhat2001commented6 years ago
@Quexos, me too check them this week they look really healthy, he last time I fed every day cause it’s coco but this time only 2-3 per week max and they are better for it.

Just finished one of these in November. Trained her low and got a little over 4 ounces of of the best buds I have grown and topped out at 13 inches from soil to the highest bud. Definitely my favorite home grow as of yet. Good luck.

i think you are right the small short plant with the fat buds was always the plant far away from the 300W. once i completed the blueberry (see my other diary) i moved them over to my 600w. Then i suppose it went from low level to high level and it didnt deal with it very well. plant 1 was always on 300W and 600 W sharing it with the blueberry, so when that moved over it didnt get so stressed. its not powdery mildew i will cut off the leaves now cheers.

So I reposted with new pics and moved the light higher.
mrhat2001

no just don't water/nutes so often, i know a horticultural guy he advised me on this as long as its heavy when you lift no need to add anything. when it starts to bud and take more then i might up it a bit. Also on the lighting its the same thing better to have more light but the benefits not so big.
the end.
