This seed was soaked the first 24 hours in a darkened water glass; then planted in coco; this seed has not start rooting after 24h unlike the other seeds (watch my other reports).🌱💚
- Ambient temperature 24°C
- high humidity in the covered pots
- as soon as leaves are present, the plants are getting 18h light lighting from a full spectrum LED (20-30W)
- watering the first days by hand as needed
- no fertilization
Note Day 3: This seed might be dead; I will give this seed a few more days and hope for the best.
Note Day 4: Still nothing..
@Hawk2, have you ever tried a seed soak in sea weed extract just a half a ml to 1 liter of still water at 24 to 25oC . Get little plastic shot glasses and fill 3 quarters with the seaweed water and pop your seeds in and usually with in 24 hrs the tap root is visible, and if they stay floating leave them another 8 to 12 hours for a bigger tap root then transplant and to moist seedling mix. 100% sprouting doing this way for me the past few years .
@Krisis, so far only 7 out of about 10 seeds have been successful for me - yesterday I threw a sundae driver seed into the water … hopefully with more luck this time; report is following if I see at least something like a root :)
