Welcome to my first Grow Diary! Today my seeds sprouted, so the journey can start. I always sprout autoflowers directly in end pots to not stress them out during veg. However, I ran into my first problem within the first days: I noticed fungus gnats on the substrate surface. As fungus gnats are especially dangerous for young plants, I knew I needed to act quickly: I opted for a biological treatment using Nematodes and sticky traps. This should get rid of them before they become too big of a problem. If you have any questions regarding my setup or methods, feel free to ask!

The plants developed their first true leaves and began to grow the second pair. The nematode treatment in combination with the sticky traps worked as very few new fungus gnats entered the traps since the day of application. Since nematodes need a constantly moist substrate, I watered all the pots with 2.5 liters of water on the day of the nematode application and haven't watered them since (exactly 1 week). Tomorrow they'll get a smaller watering, about a liter per plant. This is more than I would normally give at this stage of development, but I want to prevent the substrate from getting too dry (again, nematodes can't survive in dry substrate). All in all, promising outlook!

They are progressing nicely, I should be able to start LST in the coming days. Plant on the right is noticably behind in development, probably a day or so, but that shouldn't be too big of a problem. Update: This week they made a lot of progress, gaining a couple of centimeters in height. The plant on the left and the one in the back are showing healthy growth. The plant on the right is showing symptoms of some sort which I'm not quite able to pin down, although I suspect it might be HLVD or another viral infection as all plants were treated exactly the same.

Plant in the back sadly grew a lot smaller compared to the other two, even though the plant on the right has weird growth. Installed the scrog net on day 3 of week 4 and tucked in the branches sometimes twice a day.

The scrogging worked nicely and I was able to fill out most of my tent. Plant in the back is a couple of centimeters smaller than the other ones, but all in all they're great looking plants. I also took off weak branches that didn't get enough light and thinned out the foliage.
