Second Grow! Lets grow some Strains from a Legend!
This was my second grow and i was going with the Velvet Moon and Francos Lemon Cheese from Greenhouse Genetics.
Both performed pretty well.
One of the Francos is HUGE as fuck. the other two are smaller.
One of them sadly i think got some stun in Week 4 of Veg. Dont know what was going wrong. Cause she still looked very healthy.
Besides that, the Velvet are very fine, and didnt get like thick stamps. You have to support it a little at the end of Flowering. Cause the Buds gotten pretty Big.
Both Genetics are sticky as fuck and grow MUCH faster than Greenhouse said. Most of the Trichomes are already milky a lot of Amber ones are their too.
I think mid of week 8 i can go for the Harvest.
Sadly i had to chop em down earlier cause of the bad weather conditions we had here. One Bud had a little budrot and after that i chopped down a day later to not get more mold.
Besides that, the Yield was ok. Next time i definetly have to give em more space. Cause if they go crazy ... they are fuckin huge....
The Terpenes are insane, one is very Cheesy and the other two are more balanced. I putted the Trimm into a plastic bag and in the freezer. Just had to shake and then through a 160 Micron Bag. Had like 7% regain of 100g Trimm what was pretty amazing. The Hash ist very Sandy and it seems like a good washing strain for further projects for hash.
The effects are very nice. Making you very calm and if you need a good sleep its amazing too.
Chop Down. The Plants looked healthy and the Trichomes mostly were milky and some amber.
Next time i go with less plants. Cause 6 Plants on 1m2 is really too much i seen. Cause if all Lemon Cheese would have gotten as big as the biggest one... i would have filled a 1,20x1.20 or even bigger.
She is well made for Scrogging and its pretty stress resistant. She kicks back nearly immediatly after Defoliation or Topping.
I will go for another run for it later. But for now i really like the strain and for future projects i will keep it in mind.
Had to chop down. But it was just like 3-4 days earlier than expected.
The effect of the Velvet Moon is amazing. I even had the Luck to have 3 completely different Phenotypes.
One is very Creamy, one Floral and one is a little more like Spicy. Very interesting.
Nice and heavy body downer. Perfect for me for the evening.
I like the strain. But the Yield was much less than expected. The Spacing between the buds was too much. But besides that there were some nice bud.
