This is only my second Grow, so I will still make a few mistakes. New tent and new lamp - I'm up for it!
All the seeds germinated after about 1 1/2 days. I put them in 400ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix and some Dynomyco mycorrhiza granules.
For the first few days they will be under the 18V Caluma before the big lamp is switched on to 30%.
The first week is going by and I am currently quite happy with the development. I'm currently watering when the top layer is dry and then a few sprays. Some nice roots have already developed almost all the way down and I think I'll soon switch the main light on to 30%.
Initially I had a humidity of 90 %+, now it's around 80 %. As the plants reached the lid of the dome on Wednesday, I had to switch on the humidifier and remove the lid completely last night to maintain the humidity.
One plant bent slightly in the first few days, which is why I supported it with some wire. It adapted quickly.
Happy weekend!
The second week is in full swing and the plants are developing well. I will soon be switching on the large lamp - probably on Thursday (tomorrow). One plant has developed small brownish spots on one leaf. Hopefully nothing serious, but I will keep an eye on it and remove the plant from the tent if necessary.
For the rest, I switched on the fan today for some light movement. Also the plants get 2ml/l Voodoo Juice in 30ml water (2-3 times a week) and I will then also start with the first fertilizers when I switch on the big lamp and then also increase the dose of water.
Update Thursday: Switched on the Horti 2 with 100 % Power at a 60 cm distance. Should be around 350 µmol/m²/s, so in a good range for my plants at this stage. I also gave them their first fertilizer today. First I used Voodoo Juice again (2ml/l), then I added a mix of BioBizz FishMix and BioBizz Bio-Heaven (1ml/l each) + PH-Down (0.1ml) to the plants. The mix had a pH value of 6.25 and was given in a ratio of 10ml Voodoo and 40ml fertilizer. I will have a look at the plants to see how they adapt to the new conditions.
Update Friday: This afternoon I repotted the little ones so that they will hopefully grow big and strong soon. The roots were well developed and I transplanted them into 11l pots and added some Mycos for the strong root growth. I then watered them each with 150ml of water (6.30 pH) and placed them under the lamp again at a distance of 60cm (yellow traps against the insects are a must, of course).
