Hi to everyone 👋. I have a small problem with temperature measurement...so I got 2 different type gadget for this. One show me 21.5 and other 19.5 ... I would like to ask is it so big problem for strain night temperature is really 15.5 or 16.7?? Thanks 🙏 in advance

The mini Hydrometers that do temps and RH have a variability, if you read the box it came in it will say something like +/- 1.5c or something along that line, meaning it can by off but as much as 1.5 in either direction. Eg, if its really 10c. it could read +11.5 or -8.5, they are not the most robust tools, I would trust the other thermometer more so. And it also has a variability but its likely more finely tuned and accurate. Not a drastic difference, should be fine for monitoring temps. Now if temps are hitting 15c at night its a bit cold, it will slow the rate of things happening and around 10c it degrades somethings in the plants and they start to get fall colours. Ideally it should not be fluctuation more then 8-10c between day and night time temps. if you running 30c days and 20c nights that's ok. the lower the chnage the better but I never care to try and fix that to much. I let my tent get down to around 18c at night and it will hit 29c in the day.

You can do both at the same time but know that both are going effect the plant. I suggest doing them separately to allow a little bit of recovery time for your girl. She looks like she will be fine in that pot for a couple of weeks. I suggest topping her and then transplant. You can also use Mycorrhizal fungi root treatments to help with the transplanting process.

Hello 🤗 growers. So I'm in the last 2 weeks of my growing...I would like to ask is it possible to harvest first top buds and example 3-5 days under conopy buds. Because all we know that all buds do not are ready at the same time. I upload some photos of underconopy buds!

Hi, Flower is in the final two weeks of their grow and is considering harvesting the top buds first and then the under-canopy buds a few days later. This is because they understand that not all buds mature at the same time. Maturity Assessment: Trichome Development: The most reliable indicator of bud maturity is the color of the trichomes (tiny, resin-producing glands on the buds). Clear trichomes: Early stage, not ready. Cloudy trichomes: Optimal THC levels, ideal for harvesting.   Amber trichomes: THC has started to degrade into CBN, may affect potency and create a more sedative effect. Pistil Color: The pistils (hair-like structures) change color from white to orange or brown as they mature. However, this is less reliable than trichome color.   Harvesting Top Buds First: Potential Advantages: Reduced Risk of Over-Ripening: Top buds tend to mature slightly faster due to their exposure to light and air. Harvesting them first can prevent over-ripening and potential degradation of THC. Improved Airflow: Removing the top buds can improve airflow to the lower canopy, potentially allowing the remaining buds to mature more evenly. Potential Disadvantages: Increased Risk of Mold: Harvesting top buds can expose the lower canopy to more light and heat, potentially increasing the risk of mold and bud rot. Uneven Maturation: If the difference in maturity between top and lower buds is significant, harvesting separately may not be ideal. Practical Considerations: Time and Effort: Harvesting in multiple stages requires more time and effort. Storage: Harvested buds need to be stored correctly to prevent degradation. Storing different batches separately may be necessary.   Recommendations for the Grower: Assess Trichome Color: Use a magnifying glass to closely examine the trichomes on both top and lower buds. Consider the Maturity Difference: If the difference in trichome color is minimal, harvesting all buds at once might be preferable. Improve Airflow: If harvesting separately, ensure adequate airflow to the remaining buds to minimize the risk of mold. Storage: Store harvested buds in airtight containers in a cool, dark place to preserve their quality. Additional Tips: Take Pictures: Documenting the trichome development with photos can help track maturity progress. Consult with Experienced Growers: Seek advice from experienced growers who have dealt with similar situations. I hope this information helps? Good luck buddy.

You're getting close. Start looking at your trichomes. I base trichome maturity on whether they're Indica, Sativa, or balanced Hybrid. When the bulbous heads of the trichomes are fully developed but still translucent, plants will produce a "high" and stimulanting effect, less sedative. It is the perfect moment to harvest strong Indica strains. When these bulbous heads turn milky is probably the best moment to harvest most available hybrids. When 70% of these trichome heads are milky and 30% amber, it is the perfect time to harvest mostly Sativa hybrids and long flowering strains (like Haze).

@NAS_Garden, thanks! Really I done my best to do it right way. Ordered everything what have to do. And from next week I will test flowering with extra 150w ( 6x25 ) as interconopy and underconopy lights so check for updates on :) I find it well for the community to share real data

Thanks for answering. I must wait around a week for PTS heater with thermostat...and for my luck I don't have heating for nights and temp drops to 16c from 00 til 6 morning.
