Timeless Terps: Growing the Classic Blueberry and Orange Bud Strains

Just received the clones of two legendary strains – Blueberry and Orange Bud – and couldn't be more excited to get them started! Both are old-school classics known for their rich terpene profiles and incredible aromas. These ladies will be planted in Canna Terra Professional Plus soil, which provides a high-quality, nutrient-rich base to support robust growth. They'll be housed in 9L Air-Pot Superoots, designed to maximize root development and give them the best chance to thrive. This grow is all about tapping into that timeless terpene magic, and I’m aiming to bring out the very best these strains have to offer. Stay tuned as the journey unfolds!

It’s been about a week since I planted the clones in soil, and they’re looking great! So far, I’ve only been watering them with plain water and a bit of BioBizz Root Juice to encourage strong root development. The plants are responding well, showing no signs of stress or wilting. Overall, I’m happy with their progress and looking forward to seeing more growth in the coming weeks!

This week, I topped the Blueberry to manage the size and encourage bushier growth and focused on some low-stress training (LST) for both plants. They’re responding well, with new growth already visible and no signs of stress from the topping or training. Still feeding with just plain water and BioBizz Root Juice, and everything is looking healthy and strong. Excited to see how they continue to fill out in the coming days!

Both plants have continued to respond well to the LST and are showing strong growth. We are now on day 3 of the 12/12 lighting cycle, marking the beginning of the flowering stage. I’ve adjusted the feeding schedule, now following the Biobizz plan for the flowering phase. The plants are stretching as expected, and everything looks on track. Excited to see the buds forming in the next few weeks!
