My brain damage bean I purchased nearly 5 years ago. It was one of the first seeds I ever purchased as I was drawn by the name and the image of crazy frost on the box. 5 years on I'm a bit wiser than I was then and do not expect the frost . Having said that I'm super impressed it germinated at all. 5 years in my fridge and it opened after just 30 hours.
First 12 hours was in a glass of water and humic acid. Then I to paper towels for another 20 hours . Tap roots showed and into a nursery pot until breach..
A week of good development. She breached after about 15 hours. Straight under my invisible sun B60.
And has had a week of gentle growth in my small tent.
No pics this week. Was too busy with work.
A nice week of no drama. Gave a feed of beneficial liquids. Sitting at 13 Dli on a 24hr cycle.
She has a good shape so far. Still can't believe it's a 5 year old seed. 🤪
Another week in my little pots then I shall move them to their finish pots. Probably 5 lt.
I re potted the tent and only had 10 of the tall 5l pots I wanted to use on this run. To be honest I wanted 5l pots for the F1s as they finish so quickly and it did not seem worth wasting substrate on a short auto grow
Bit this Growers choice bean has gone into 11l and I expect her to go a bit longer than the F1s. The last GC auto I grew took 15 weeks to finish...
This lady looks good and strong with a good shape and now plenty of space to make roots.
Feeds are just water and some beneficial liquids every third feed.

She's just plodding along. All the F1s in the room are in flower ths lady is not even showing pre flower yet..🤣
No hurry though so all good. Just water and beneficial for this lady. I bit of calmag will go in this week and I will check run off to see how much go go juice is left in the light mix...

Not updated in a while now. The brain damage is a huge plant. Maybe because she's in 14l and the rest of the room is in 4l..🤣
She's had a bad time in her life this far. Like my other plants she has suffered a bit due to bad watering practices from me being away for work so much
Having said that she is a chunky thing and although more yellow then I like she is healthy enough and putting weight on. I think she will go to at least 13 weeks which is dull . The rest of the room comes down next week and I want to start the next run of photos. I may have to create a finish space from one of mybtents I have lying around .

A little update. Week 14 of flower approaches and after quite a bad P and K deficiency due to me being away and the poor girl suffering she's back to fattening. I don't know how long she will go for frost is getting thicker and a great smell.
She's fixed from her horrid p and K starvation. Waterings are back on track and she has swollen up nicely. Another week of food and a week of water . Maybe only 10 days left.. we will see.
Decided to chop her as there was some crazy foxtailing and I wanted her to be dry and have had a few days cure so I can try it on Christmas day. Well that's the plan anyway .😜
She weighed in at 630g wet but that's arbitrary as that's all the stems also. The buds are all dense and very fragrant. Thick trichomes that left the cutters thick in resin after the wet trim..
They are hanging now at 16c and 49%.
