Romy123 Hey everyone! Let me tell you about my first grow attempt: Apple Fritter Automatic!
I started with Dope Soil Lite from Flo – the EC value was between 0.4 and 0.6, and when it came to the pH level, I was so relaxed that I thought, "Whatever" (you don't have to worry about that with Living Soil). Sometimes it’s good to keep things casual, especially when you have to garden on a windowsill – it wasn’t exactly the VIP lounge for my plants! But hey, the market was sold out, and I had no choice.
After a few weeks, I was finally ready for the first move: a Spiderfarmer tent with a 100-watt lamp. Mid-bloom came the big upgrade; my Homebox and 2x SANlights Evo4 arrived, which meant the second move – because you also have to find the perfect spot for your plants.
During the flowering phase, I really got into the groove! In the fifth and sixth weeks, I tried the Vegan Booster from the 5-1 fertilizer. It was like a revitalizing smoothie for my plant! However, I cannot recommend the 5-1 fertilizer in combination with Flo – my plant developed unsightly spots and necrosis everywhere. It was as if it had tried a bad skincare routine! So, I added fresh Dope Soil (10%), and guess what? The plant recovered like a phoenix from the ashes, sprouted new leaves, and prepared for the next round of blooms.
The harvest event was a spectacle in itself! I harvested in three parts after 9, 10, and 11 weeks. In total, my little hero weighed about 1200g wet weight – after drying, it came down to 240g.
Really turned out pretty, I'm curious to see how my Apple Fritters Auto performs. Although I think I might have pressed my soil a bit too hard :)) Happy Growing!!!
@GermanGrow182, sorry but I don't understand your assessment, didn't you notice that the pot is 25l? Also, it's normal for an autoflowering plant to produce much more when the pot is large. Greetings to you, growmie, I've already had two grows with apple fritter and a similar result. The strain is definitely recommended 🤞❤️
@@Yan420, I can only give my assessment as an outdoor grower. Since it was grown indoors, I can only evaluate Romy's information from my perspective. Given the size of the plant and this result, I am consistently impressed with what this strain can produce indoors. I was also satisfied outdoors. Definitely a very good strain. I could be wrong @romy. I'm far from knowing everything 🙂 I only have the comparison to outdoor... yes, I'm also impressed with the performance. Very good strain—likely great indoors and outdoors 💪
Even in a tent, I think the harvest amount is exaggerated. One Apple Fritter Auto plant of this size will never yield 1200g wet in a lifetime. I had the strain myself this season. You didn't weigh it. The feeling is misleading. I would have taken half from you, because it looks good, but hey, please stick to the facts...😏
@GermanGrow182, if you think that the same strain also yields the same harvest, you still have a lot to learn. The size of the tent alone is not decisive.
