Super impressed by the growth spurt in the last week! Almost time to transplant into a bigger pot! She will be getting the same treatment as the others in terms of topping/training.

Just added a 50W full spectrum COB, i have noticed it getting really warm when its been on for awhile. Whereas my QBs don't really get hot at all. Is this normal? Its actively cooled with a heat sink and fan,

pretty much normal because the COB i'm guessing has a 90Β° reflector which focuses the light and therefore the heat. the light is good for the plant but the heat not so much, especially if it's actively cooled maybe double check everything is working correctly, if so then yes it is normal for the focused light to generate focused heat. hope this helps !

How often do some of you push your girls past day 70? My current grow still has 50% white pistils 62 days in!

hey there stonedbuddy, basically "the pistil method" is not really a good indicator because after the chop anyway all the pistils turn brown. The only way to really tell is a 40x magnification minimum 60x is more comfortable, and look at the trichomes and base it off that. I had a really long gorilla glue, and at the chop it had mostly white pistils but fully cloudy trichomes and after over 3 months of flowering it was an "all up"weed... so check the trichomes, not the pistils.

@YourStonedBuddy, Yeah we are always learning! I'v learned alot in my current BlackBerry timelapse grow. This strain is very picky with its nutrients so I have to be on my toes lol.

@CRiSPrGrow, She's finally starting to form some buds late into week 6! We still have a really really long way to go before we see some proper genetics come out of SA, i decided to celebrate "legalization" by doing some SA genetics 😬
