I start by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours. After that, I transfer them to a paper towel inside a lunchbox, misting them lightly until the roots reach about 1 inch in length. In this case, the roots grew faster than expected and were around 2 inches long when I planted them.
During my last few grows, I didn't water much at this stage, which caused the plants to stay small. For this grow, I plan to change that by watering every 2 or 3 days, though not always with added nutrients.
I liked the wooden bar setup I used last time, but I almost forgot about it and ended up installing them midway through week 2. It wasn't a big issue, but I did have to do some bending. I will be using these bars to tie down directly under the branch.
Started with some LST during this week. Looking very healthy and balanced. Removed some lower foliage but it doesn't count as defoliation. Increased the amount of base nutrients over this week
During this week she got a huge burst of power shooting up from all angles. Removed most of the ties because the branches have already taken enough form.
Huge changes every day so I had to souble up on the lst, opening up space in the center for more to grow
She has gotten taller but some bottom leaves are starting to yellow. Removed a couple to help her focus on the upper buds rather than the lower foliage
Increased nutrients and removed more yellowing leaves. Hopefully the amount of yellowing will reduce. Turned on the Dehumidifier at 50% because I noticed that at night, the humidity was going up above 60%.
Some construction work had to be done just outside the tent so I had to turn off the extractor for hours everyday. This led to a lot of heat building up in the tent which resulted in a lot of leaves dying off
More leaves were dying off during this week but I tried to hold off by watering before I turned off the extractor maybe the plants wouldn't feel as dry during the day.
Buds are getting heavy this week so I had to tie some stalks up because I was afraid they were going to break off. The pistils have turned orange for the most part and the terpenes are turning milky white
It's been a great week! Only a few trichomes have started turning milky, but the leaves are starting to yellow very fast.
I also added the scrog this week, albeit a bit late. Still, with so many branches tipping over, any extra support is definitely welcome.
Looking Great, focusing on trichome production. Often look through the magnifying glass to see which stage they are at. They still look like they have at least a week left. Reduced some nutrients from the feeding but I ended up bringing them back by the end of the week.
The buds are getting heavy so i'm trying to balance it out by tieing some of them to the scrog net
Harvested at the end of this week
Started with some branch chopping and hanging for drying. Long hard weekend in trim jail but it was worth it. Great high, especially when smoked through Vape.
