Just adding still water (Ph6.0) with no nutes for 1st 3 days.Afterwards slowly adding some Rootbastic. Every two days adding 0.1ml/l more into the solution. For them lil rooties.
Theyre singing and listening to music with me B-) (not kidding)
Controlling and regulating Ph every day. Watering 4-5 times per day with sprayer. Not controlling outflow yet just sprayin like a freak to maximize humidity.
Day 3
- 6th plant not out yet :( controlled the seed and the root has grown a little so lets see if she can make it. I pray for her :/
- Added 0.2ml/l of ATA Rootbastic
- Theyre not stretching too much. Im happy because i dont have a lot of space in the veg. room.
Day 5
- 6th one didnt make it :( kinda sad about it but hey, 5/6 isnt bad at all :) (btw. think it was my fault, she was little slower and i placed her in the coco almost right after she popped)
- Switched to Canna Rhizotonic because i just like it more... 😂
- Theyre stretching a little but nothing to worry about :)
- Still keeping watering at 3-5 times a day, everything seems allright and they are growing happily.
- Started to see a little bit purple on the leaves but i think it is just because of the Blueberry genes :)
- Theyre working on 3rd wave of leaves :)
Dont know if i hit the right category but could you please help me guys ? one of the plant has burnt/crispy brownish bottom leaves. Other plants seems allright tho... what can i do to stop it from spreading ? Thanks :)
hey there you have magnesium deficiency you can tell from how the leaves are losing color , especially the bottom leaves. What you want to do is make a foliar spray with 1 ml of cal mag and spray on the leaves every few days for a week, the problem should stop spreading and the plants should make a complete recovery. Add Rhiz to the spray once a week for a bonus boost to growth. hope this helps ! 🚀
@JUNGLE_B4RNS Thank you so much for the help ! I dont have a lot of experience with the seedlings and you helped a lot. Unfortunately I dont have any other light but im definitely gonna lower the watering. Thanks buddy! ^_^
Thanks @CRiSPrGrow for your help ! Helped alot ! I actually think it is calmag def. too but i think as @JUNGLE_B4RNS says it is caused mostly due to light being too close... :/ I dont have other light so i think they will have to survive these conditions at least 4-5 more days. :/ I will be back with more info in a moment ! stay tuned guys and thanks for your help ! :)
@FunkyG, the problem will eventually stop spreading now that you're feeding it ... what i can see is you're slightly overwatering though, dial that in asap and lower your PH back down to 5.8/5.9 , the foliar spray will keep the micro locked in anyway
Indoor you must simulate outdoor conditions.
The good thing with Indoor farming is that you can simulate the best outdoor conditions because you got the control on it .
That means , when it rains outdoor, in 90% of the case , it’s cloudy with no sun shining !
Simulating the rain by spraying your seedlings under a 400w LED which is supposed to be the sun , will lead to burned white marks on the leaves .... . By the way , you don’t need to keep a high humidity level , they are seedlings with a root system and they can take the water from their media , not like clones with no roots system .... another thing, rain water is not tap water or spring water or mineral water.... rain water is at pH 7.0-7.1 and EC 0 to 10 ...
Purpling stems ... purplish is the first sign of a Mag deficiency, it comes from many different factors, but indoor it’s mostly from overwatering or too much light.... Purple strains gets purple flowers , but only the flowers are purple 😉 In your case I’m suspecting both problems, you’re growing Ganja my friend, ain’t no water lilies in a swamp 😄 plus blasting young seedlings under a 400w led at 35cm won’t solve the problem neither 😊
When it rains and the water starts to drain into to soil the roots hairs retracts and the main root starts to suck the water .... here is where you understand that the main root is used to intake water and the root hairs are used to intake minerals....
So, technically from what I can read, you’re simulating a swamp somewhere in Asia during the monsoons under an Australian sun during the summer .... now you can understand something is wrong, no ? 😊
And this is where you must understand that the 3 most common problems indoor are:
Too much light
Too much water
Too many nutrients
Stay away from these 3 problems will give you the best Ganja 😉
hey funkyg, hope i answered your question ! i'm quite sure it's magnesium deficiency and you can save these little ones ! hope they recover ! anything else just let me know 👊
@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, Trying my best to treat them ! I moved them to bigger box today but didnt have time to update the journal ! Tommorow ill bring some new info, stay tuned ! :)
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, I know very well :) Dont worry ive got 120x120x200 for the real grow ;)
This is just for the seedlings :) for the first 2 weeks or so :)
@FunkyG, try using root pots - fabric pots i keep babies happy for 8 wks in 1lt fabric pots - plenty of o2 and no root bounding. my flower pots are only 3lt fabric and they are happy for 12 - 14 weeks of flower :)
@CRiSPrGrow, Know about the problem ! :/ 2-3 more days left for the drying of last batch. At this point i cant transplant due to the lack of space in the tent... i will re-pot them ASAP. Its kinda clutchgrow so i hope they wont get stuck ! :/
@FunkyG Great looking grow man, Ime - Too much LED / Too Close will cause symptom that appear to be Cal/Mag def.
My mate who is a experienced hydro grower with ( DWC + HPS / MH / CMH) doesn't agree with me on this, his theory is because the plant is on mega light it can't get enough Cal/Mag from soil, and to his credit i have seen how on hydro he solves this with CAL/ Mag supplements, but to his own admission he has't used LED's and being a longtime since using soil.
I would lift the light for a week to 10 days - and see what happens, you have close nodes so they should stretch too much, the sweet spot for LED i find is often higher then we think and blue 6500k led will help to stop stretch too, Try it, I was surprised when I started to move my LED's further away - even a few inches can make all the difference - much more so then moving high pressure lights.
Just my two cents - looking great though - good luck with grow :)
Box
@@Boxgrower, Youre totally right! And i knew it as well that light was causing all the problnms, i checked everything and have a quality coco coir. Now i moved the light and even some of the not totally "devastated" leaves turned green again! Wait for more info ill update in next ours :)
😵 😵 😍 Thanks so much guys ! Really Happy that you are watching my diary :) This is my first grow from your seeds and I hope it will be The best one ! :) Keep watching Im tryna go for some place at diary of the month :)
