Started the week with a feed. Bio vega, bio boost, organic silica additive, bio rhizo, half strength to the schedule. Ease in as the hot soil runs out. Next week same with bloom for the first time. Push up each week. Came right back up after a feed. Still looking healthy.
All fingers crossed. Hoping for no set backs. Praying to the gods for a set back free run.
Did first lollipopping, some more slight defoliation daily. Stretch has slowed a little. Hoping it stops it's proper stretch at the end of this week.
Budlets starting to form proper now.
Stretch now approaching the tops of the canes I put in. Going to be fun later on in flowering.
Feed seems on point.
Used the Photone app for the first time. Not sure of it's accuracy but in each of the spaces at canopy level it's reading 940.
Probably stay at that until last couple of weeks of flowering.
Some curling in the closet lot but seems to be adjusting to the extra light slowly.
Was having a chat last night, my friend does not rate bio canna boost. We have had success with an organic liquid booster from a company called Dr forest.
We are debating switching to using that as the boost rather than the bio canna boost.
It's a risk but it's a risk worth taking and I trust my friend. Do I trust myself to mix nute lines? Not something I have done or normally do. However I agree with my friends the bud grown with the doctor forest organic bloom booster was the best we have had in ages terps wise.
Been told the zkitzo are a full 10 week flower. me and the Mrs are counting down the days already...
Day 10: new growth is lime green, changed since the feed. Had this a few times during transition to flowering. Hoping as feed is upped it doesn't get any lighter and darkens a little. New growth is meant to be lighter but will monitor.
Pretty sure it's not the light being too intense as lower new growth is the same lime green.
Decided to switch light off and take a picture of the one in the closet with flash on. Doesn't look bad. These new full spectrum lights can make leaves seem a different color. If anything the new growth is what it should be and it's a little full of nitrogen, with the bottoms being so dark. This s**t can be deceiving at times.
Well it should have enough N to see it through flowering now. Full shift to bloom now. This grow for the first time I'm trying to listen to the plants and adjust feeding on the fly, rather than go to a set schedule.
Day 9 flowering. Set up humidity controller and dehumidifiers, night humidity was getting up to 75. Ideal for the stretch but not after. Set to 59 to keep it under 60 percent. End of week 2 flower will set to 55, end of week 3 50, then slowly bring it down the last few weeks.
After setting it up and me and the Mrs having a shower at night time, the humidity spiked. Me and the Mrs be taking daytime showers until these are done. Perfection takes sacrifice!
Overkill but day 10 this week I uploaded morning and evening pictures to show change through the day. New growth is lighter and is lightest in the mornings. Hope this helps someone in future.
One added bonus of the shower situation is my tiny humidifiers were not keeping up. A boost in humidity is created with the shower. Day 10 in evening humidity getting low, led to Mrs jumping in shower and raising it 3-5 percent...
Closet grow has no humidity control. Only in the two tents. Be interesting to see if there is a difference in bud quality and terps at the end.
Going to give the last feed of compost tea this week then move into flowering feed fully. Starting to take more than once a week until dry. I want it to use up what it has left in the feed added to the mix. Last chance in my opinion for a tea to be worth doing any good so this will be the last.
Feed feed water after that. Rave repeat.Been feed feed, and now going to be tea.
After saying my last statement. The new growth is slightly, ever so slightly tippy. It's day 14 and the soil used was from a previous full hot soil grow that was amended and treated with worm castings also. Thinking it still has some left in the mix. Gonna be a water next time.
Week 3 on none organic I would push the pk in for a feed. They look like iv pushed the pk in. Will monitor this week and see but my gut tells me to water. Some of the leaves have a Matt blue which tells me also to water.
@Callys_Garden, if you ever switch to dry amendments there's some good tips. You seem to have Coco down. It's whatever works for you. Thanks Cally. Mush love
